"I am just finishing my first class at JIU and love it!! I transferred from another online school that was horrible (read my review on that later). I wasn't pressured to go, my counselors have been on top of everything and the financial aid person went above and beyond to help me. The class has been great! I don't spend a ton of time on it but feel like I've learned more in the first class than I did in all of my bachelor's degree from Carlton School of Management at the U of MN (this is supposed to be one of the best business schools is the US). Overall, the experience has been fantastic, and I highly recommend JIU to anyone I encounter."

"JIU is an established online university. I have been more than satisfied that I chose JIU. The people who gave JIU a bad review seem to have made bad decisions themselves and are blaming everyone but themselves. Please check out this university if you are looking for an online university."

"I would not recommend JIU to anyone. Their customer service is horrible. I have been shifted between five different Academic Service Counselors (ASC) and have only taken three classes. My first ASC gave me great confusion over my loan. My last ASC didn’t know I was taking 300 level classes and enrolled me in BBA101 - which I didn’t need. Also, after many emails requesting an address change, he sent my books to the wrong place. Then he promised to sign me up for an e-book one week into the class, and that never happened. If you are looking for trouble JIU is the place for you!"

"The coursework at Jones mirrored what is needed in business. The professors were excellent offering practical application of the subjects being taught. The online tools were easy to use and offered a great deal of interaction between professors and classmates.I would highly recommend this school. They take an active part in ensuring student receive quality coursework. I completed a Masters Degree in Online Learning, which thoroughly prepared me for the business world. You work hard. It is no walk in the park. In most cases, you will work harder than you would in a traditional school. But, it is well worth it."

"I am in the military and on enrollment I was told that it would not be an issue if I had to turn anything in because I was sent to an area were there is no internet, but they gave me no type of break when it came down to it. The school lied to me and refused to pull my enrollment from the next classed when I asked them to, plus they harassed me about not paying for the class I asked to be removed from three weeks before it started. Then they harassed me about signing my 1040 beside where I had already signed."

"Jones International University is an excellent start for me as a career changer and completely new to the teaching profession. All of the educators are extremely helpful. The staff are excellent with calling you back. The financial aid process is easy. The classes and the navigation system is not complicated to understand. I would recommend JIU to anyone for a Top Quality education"

"Personally, I seem to be learning the same thing online as I could from a classroom. I am still working on my Masters degree, and I am glad I am going to Jones - but I had gone to California Lutheran University (CLU) before making the switch. The classes are just as challenging and I feel I will be able to use what I learn in my job.The freedom to study on my time rather than rushing to get to a classroom also is a benefit. The way the interaction with other students is accomplished, I think is a great tool in this technology driven society. So I do not feel as I am missing anything by going to school online. As for why I chose JIU, mine were a mix of personal reasons, and knowing it was not a for-profit business but an institution of higher education. The facility also has real degrees, and personally, I like the thought of learning from someone who knows more than I know, and has the paper to prove it."

"I am still working on my Masters degree and I am glad I made the move from Capella to Jones. The classes are more of a challenge and I feel I will be able to use what I learn in my job. The interaction with other students is also a great tool that helps open ones mind to other ideas and ways of thinking. All online colleges cost a lot but this is one where the education you get is worth the money spent."

"My online experience was much more in depth than I originally imagined. Coursework was challanging and set up to best utilize an online experience. Courses are completed in weekly modules and had scheduled online discussions that took place in real time and message boards where I could post questions for faculty and students to comment on. I feel the certificate really opened my eyes on how to better educate my students. I will be taking more classes in the future with IU."

"I greatly enjoyed my learning experience with Jones International University. What I loved about the program was the flexibility and convenience it offered me. I was able to participate in courses mostly upon my availability. The coursework was always necessary in order to fully prepare me. Online discussions were the mostly common source of interaction. Power point and sent notes were of great help and widely used throughout each course.I am very thankful for JIU, because if it weren't for this program, I probably wouldn't get the chance to further my education."
