I loved Kaplan, I am actually going back for my Masters Degree. The education is solid, the professors were great, and the online format is by far the easist I have delt with in past schools. The only downside to this school is their financial aid, student finance department. These people are clueless. They have canned answers, can't solve problems, and will frustrate the heck out of you. If you find yourself in this situation, I urge you to go up the chain until you get your situation resolved. The school, aside from the financial aid department is awesome. Hopefully, their takeover by Perdue University will fix this issue. I worked very hard to get my fiancial information fixed, in the end it was resolved, you just need to get somene that knows what the heck they are doing. Don't trust what the fiancial assistance person tells you if you don't think it's correct. It appears to me that they are nothing but call takers.

I really enjoyed attending KU. I was able to complete my BS in health admin. I had no problems with enrollment, or financial aid. Everything went well. I liked the fast pace classes. It was difficult at first, but Once I got a routine down I enjoyed school. What I liked the most about the classes is that they gave you all the information, ie..answers to questions during class connect. It was then up to me to read, and explain what I have learned, ie..how the answer is incorporated with the lesson being taught. I remember there was a lot of reading. I can't count how many highlighters I went through. Overall very satistied.

Horrible school. Teachers barely grade work so its hard to keep up with your grades. As students we depend on financial aid to get us through our school times. However Kaplan University could care less about their students and withhold financial aid many of the times paying only after the semester is almost finished or done. While attending Kaplan I was almost kicked out of my apartment twice for non-payment. And I am a military student so this is ridiculous. It didn't happen once or twice it has happened 4 consecutive semesters. Their systems are old and outdated and direct deposit is not even an option. Do yourself a favor and find another school their programs may be great but their service to students sucks.

I am in my last semester. I never been so stressed out over school before. All my loans and financial aid was max out and I found out after receiving a bill. The customer service is horrible and now I pay 100 percent out of pocket. I wanted to sit out for a semester and i was drop from the school and it was never fully explained to me. Every semester I beg for a payment arrangement. One of the leader refused to put me on a payment plan. Now, I am in my final semester and one of my transfer classes is missing from my degree plan. It was approved in 2012 and now I am waiting for them to put the class back on. Meanwhile I cannot schedule for my capstone class, because of their huge error and class start tomorrow...... I hate this school...I will seek my master degree elsewhere. beware

I have had the worst 4 year experience in my life. Wasted more than $60,000 to get a degree and they don't as much as help you fill out a resume. God forbid guy were late on making a payment, they will hound you down like a dog. My "advisor" did nothing to help me and every time I works ask a financial aid question I would be transferred to 4 different people " explaining" to me why I was confused.

As active duty military, I was able to complete an Associates of Science in Health Sciences degree in just 4 classes. Military tuition assistance covered 100% of the fees. Text books generally are available as ebooks or are shipped as paperbacks and included in the tuition cost. After completing an associates, I enrolled into the Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration advanced start option. 100% of fees were covered by either military tuition assistance or FAFSA. I always received Pell Grant disbursements in a timely manner and never had any negative interaction with financial aid, or really anyone at Kaplan. Professors could be hit or miss. I had several that were very harsh with grading, and had several that would basically give 100's for everything I submitted. Most seemed to be fair. The KuCampus site is very organized and simple to navigate. I recently applied to a graduate program at a public state university, and all of my credits transferred, and all required undergraduate prerequisites were accepted from Kaplan. Overall an excellent experience.

I really thought this was a good school until I found out how the financial aid department operates and hold on to your money. Kaplan University would be a good school if it would not be for the poor customer service in the financial aid department. Kaplan would have your disbursements but would hold it until he last minute to accrue interest on your money. There is always a different excuse each time you call concerning the reason that you have not received your stipend on time. Around October or November of 2015, Kaplan supposedly upgraded their financial aid department conveniently around the student's disbursements. The latest excuse is that their financial aid department is under maintenance. I never received my refunds on time and it is pitiful that this school does not offer direct deposit. My last term was December 22, 2015 and I still have not received my scholarship refund and it has been over a month. Their excuse is that they have to manually put it in and they see it scheduled out and that was over a week ago. I have put in two complaints against their financial aid department and have not seen any results yet. I do not want anyone else to have this bad experience so if you are considering this school, DON'T enroll!!

I absolutely love Kaplan University. I honestly was very scared when I enrolled because their reviews from former students were pretty harsh, but I must say I have had a great experience with this university. My adviser Austin is awesome. He response quickly to my questions and if her doesn't know the answer he will get me to someone who will. Once minor issue was I had been trying to contact finical aid and no one returned my call for a week. I reached out to my advisor and that day someone called me. My professors are nice and understanding. Kaplan is for determined people. Participate in seminars, and complete your work on time and you will succeed here.

I went to Kaplan University for one semester in 2010. While I was there I took two courses and really enjoyed it. The only thing was their financial aid department constantly had me submitting documents over and over again toward the end of the first semester. Each time I would submit it different representatives would call and request for more.Ended up charging me out of pocket for the classes. Once I filed a complaint they charged financial aid. I really was frustrated and decided to attend Ashford University where I received my Bachelors and had so many credits transferred I was able to take a minor in Psychology and specialized in Public Administration. It is good seeing others did not have a negative experience as I did.

I am currently enrolled at Kaplan University studying Health Care Administration. Although I have struggled in the past with school, Kaplan has given me the skill-set that has escalated my learning potential. Right now, my GPA is a 3.35- but I plan for it to become higher in the future. Kaplan has enabled me to realize that I am a powerful force with higher education.
