STAY AWAY FROM KEISER UNIVERSITY!!! I attended Keiser University (West Palm Beach) campus back in 2015-2016 and that was the biggest mistake I ever made. The only two good things about this school were the professors and one class per month. I received a check from Keiser at the end of the school year, I still have the voicemail from one of the lady from the Bursar's office that called me to verified my address because the check had returned back to them due to bad address. I got the check and I... Read More thought it was left over money from mine student loans, so I used it to caught up on bills. A month later I found out that I have to pay back the money because the money was for my last class with them. Two years later, they are still holding on to my transcript until I pay them $1,700 which I already paid $400.00 towards. The manager at the Ft. Lauderdale campus is blaming me for cashing the check, saying that I sholud have returned the check back to them. I feel like they screwed up and need to own up to their mistakes and waive the amount and give me mine transcript. I DO NOT recommend Keiser University to anyone. Save yourself the headache and go to South University, for the same amount of money you can graduate with a bachelor degree at South University.

Veterans and non veterans, go to a community/state college. Do not waste your time with Keiser University. The instructors are very unprofessional. The instructor should be there to help you but they turn out to be the biggest bullies and so is the administration because they will not back you up, hence $$$ thats all they see. The curriculum is very fast pace and if you fail a class it takes months for you to get into the next one. They are in the business to make money so dont kid yourself into... If you want a proper education go to one of the schools I mentioned above, youll get more for your money and still left over. They will suck your money right out of you. I want to become a nurse I went to keiser to inquire was told its an awesome program. Before obtaining information about the program I was told I have to be registered for classes & be an enrolled student. I did exactly that I was given a schedule then I went to financial aid on my schedule I had only 2 classes to take financial aid explained the payment was for the program come to find out they are now charging me $4300 for two classes absolutely outrageous. Do not go to this School. I when to Keiser in 2011 for a few semesters. While there I decided to join the military in 2012 , I looked at the drop deadlines before I decided to withdraw from the Orlando Campus. I was still within the time to withdraw. I withdrew for the school and signed the paperwork and state the reason and joining the military. The employee who helped me told me, I has good and do not own any money. I asked why it was never reported on my credit since I keep track, the response I got was that I got lucky. Not true, I had the paperwork to prove I withdrew 4 yrs ago if they would have reported back in 2012. And my student report is also missing the paperwork too. Yet the college reported to my student loans that I graduated from there. DO NOT GO TO KEISER UNIVERSITY.

This school has to be the worst school I have ever attended. I literally feel like if I have been stolen from. The teachers don't go by their syllabus and no one cares. I tried to reach out to my program chair and no one wanted to help me until it now resulted in me withdrawing and not only to find out that FIU doesn't accept their credits anyways. Read More 2,000 just to leave the school and I only attended class for 2 weeks so I am basically getting charged 1,000 per week. Additionally, im not even sure now if they will accept my AA its the worst school ever. I now how to pay for a class I have learned nothing in and the teacher failed to teach me. They drained me with money and now I have to pay double the consequences because I have to try to find a good school which will accept my credits.

I graduated from the Port Saint Lucie campus in nursing and I am making great money! I was about to drop out after I failed a class, but J. and J. in financial aid worked together to keep me in...they took time to help me get back up and found a way to help me afford to re take the class. You simply don't get that type of help at a community college. They really cared about me and I could tell it wasn't just for the money. This school is interested in MONEY as I have seen them bounce good students without any consideration in trying to get them taught the material. They seem to take glee in dropping students so long as they have a new nursing student ready to pay. Read carefully as you can not retake a class like you can in the public college system in Florida. First of all, the lady that teaches Kinesiology is unqualified...She does not even have a Masters. She does not like questions, her power points are horrible, and her exams are filled with so many mistakes. She has favorites especially those that do not question her because quite honestly they do no know any better. She is abrasive and the open door policy with her is false. Subsequently, this class does not have an accompanying lab. They have a lot of stupid papers which is such a waste of time. Now I know why no one takes Keiser seriously.

Keiser University is definitely a school that I would recommend to others. Although it is a private school, which many seem to frown upon, it is actually pretty good. They only do one class at a time, and you always finish that class in one month. Then you never have to go back again. It's just nice to know that you can concentrate on one subject at a time and don't have to juggle between classes. I really like Keiser University eCampus. The classes are fast paced and dedication is required. My professors are always willing to help and give feedback on any assignment I turn in. Every week in grade book you can check your grades and read a comment from your professor. These comments are usually an opportunity for the instructor to give you feedback on how well you are doing or how to improve your work. I have emailed my professors questions and always got a reply within 24 hours. The work load... Read More is always bearable and if you encounter a problem a dean is just a phone call away. Keiser University eCampus had been a true blessing and wonderful experience so far. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants a great education and a great experience. I work two jobs and have a family to take care of on top of attending school and have no problems keeping up with the easy to use Blackboard system. Each assignment is posted with deadlines and instructions as well as a message board to interact with your classmates every week. I usually get most of my assignments done with in 3 days so I can focus on the other aspects of my life the rest of the week. Stay focussed and chose the right school for your needs. If what I said about Keiser sounds good then check it out, if not I wish you the best in finding what works for your needs. Every school isn't perfect for every student. As a Keiser graduate, I can give a little insight to help someone make a decision. The tuition is OUTRAGEOUS so unless you are wanting to go in a limited access program like Nursing, OTA, PTA, etc; I would not recommend them. You can get the same quality of education for much cheaper elsewhere. However, I can say that after completing my AA degree, I transferred to a public state university and all of my courses transferred. I did have to pick up some additional courses: 2 Spanish, a biology lab,... Read More a health and wellness course, and 2 humanity courses. I am in Florida so I assume each state would vary. I probably would not attend here for my bachelors due to the negative view of Keiser within academia and the fact that employers do weigh the reputation of your degree granting institution at the bachelor level. Overall though, I did not have a bad experience. I was NOT constantly pulled from class, I didn't have any issues with my financial aid, I wasn't kicked out of any courses; it was a smooth ride for me.

I just graduated from Keiser University at the Port Saint Lucie campus. I'm working at a hospital now and while I'm not making huge money yet, I have a job and making much more than I did before...I'm also just about to start the nursing program there and I am very excited and I feel I owe it all to this man who helped me when he didn't have to. I came in there to thank him one day and saw him helping another student in the same way he helped me. His help was sincere and they are all a great bunch of people.
