The worst possible college you can go to! I am currently enrolled. Started major classes as ota few months ago, this school doesn't offer you any extra help amd you pay 2200 per class not including text books. You email professors they barely ever respond. You have to depend on classmates for help because the professors they hire lie( wish I can show proof now but I will once I will win the lawsuit I plan to take) the professors don't care about you or the fact you need help all they care about is $$$ in the pocketbook
West Palm Beach Campus Accelerated program which the three instructors make even more difficult with their bad non caring attitudes. Basically you cover one chapter per day and have a 15 question quiz the next day, which does not allow many mistakes and two test a month. Clinicals like stated in another review is far from home even when locations are close to home.
This school cost so much money for a degree that doesn't even lisense you! I would not get a psychology degree here let alone any degree here! Please don't waste your time they are very unorganized and it takes weeks to fix any problem you might have.
Keiser University offers an excellent college experience, professors are graduated from the elite colleges and have a vast experience in their fields. The study programs are innovative offering classes such as e-marketing & creative entrepreneurship.
Keiser University is a great place to earn a degree, whether it is an associate or bachelor degree, it's a goon investment. The teachers are wonderful and very knowledgeable in their areas. Also, since it's a small school, you feel like a family, you get to know most of the people on a deeper level in comparison to attending a big university.
Excellent school, small classes, great teachers with helpful learning techniques. Very satisfied and can't wait to start my program on sonographer! They are so helpful so happy I took the chance with T this school. Love the atmosphere friendly staff :)
The staff is very uneducated and unorganized when it comes to helping you sign up for classes. This school is also very expensive and not worth the money at all. I learned a lot but was taken advantage of when it came to how much an associates degree online cost. $45,000 ! It was my first time going to college and I didn't know what to expect to pay. I Graduated in 2014 with a 3.8 GPA. Once I Graduated it was hard to find a job as a medical assistant and Keiser University wasn't much help. You are just a number and a paycheck to them I would suggest researching other options and not to become a Medical Assistant. Job market is non existent and employers want you to have at least 1-2 years of experience. No one wants to give you a chance. I am changing careers and going into business Marketing for my bachelor's with a different online college and I hope it isn't the same situation.
I am a current student with Keiser. I am in my junior year with them and would not recommend them at all to anyone. The financial department is more then willing to help you get started. And the admission councilors are awesome. After about your 3rd semester though, all the support and nice staff move on to incoming students. I have the worst financial aid person and the entire program is unclear. Staff members are not friendly and getting help is hard. As an online student you need help and support when it's asked for, especially when you're paying an awful amount of money for school.
With the exception of the professors at this school, I would not recommend Keiser University period. When I first started with them, they were amazing. They made it look like they were 100% on your side and will help you out in any way possible. As I entered into my 3rd semester, that changed! Keiser gives students money to help out if you qualify for allied health. Meaning if you work with a hospital while going to school, they give you 20-25% off of your tuition each semester! BOGUS! All of a sudden they changed their rules and no longer offer that tuition. They are a scam and the only people they look out for are themselves and I'm not the only Nursing student who experienced this issue. They are all about money and only care about that.
First and foremost, Keiser teachers are actually pretty good. Not all of them, but most were pretty solid. The biggest thing they don't tell you is; they bill you by semester, that is four months. So if you take one class, then decide you want to go somewhere else you owe big time for three classes that you never attended. The second big problem; they will tell you anything to get you to sign up. I went there for 14 months in RT before I did some research and learned the odds of me finding a job were slim to none. I was told they had 95% job placement, there is no truth to that. Just a flat out lie to get there hands on my GI Bill. They say they are "veteran friendly". If friendly means laughing all the way to the bank with your VA check then they are very friendly. Issue three; only about 1/3 of the people that start the RT program actually graduate. This is because it's so accelerated you have to teach your self most the info, while your teacher talks about her weekend and how her cats are doing. Then they guilt you for not being prepared months ago. The x-ray equipment is so old that learning how to use it is pointless. All and all, I could not justify paying 50k to learn on obsolete equipment, from burnt out has been teachers that are more interested in talking about how good they used to be. All that to get a degree in a field that's so flooded that current RTs are trying to get schools to stop pushing RT degrees. Keiser is a degree mill, save yourself some money and heartache and go to your local community college.
