"Ok here is the thing, Kilgore College is a school that plays dirty and likes to make you spend financial aid on classes you do not really need. One semester your on a certain plan, only to not need the class the following semester. As the saying goes, "You go to a cheap school, well you get what you pay for". On the upside, it is affordable and you get what is required for a transfer. Most the teachers teach to make a pay check; however, if you look carefully you will find good teachers that actually care about the students they teach. With loads of time an effort, you can and will survive. Is it a good beginner school for GED students on a budget? YES! Does the school make it easy? NO! Will teachers help you when you need it the most? YES and NO!!! GOOD LUCK"

"Kilgore College itself has always been helpful, it's a great place to get a degree, with not the amount you would pay at a big university. It makes things so much easier when you are a single person trying to put yourself through school when you can't just quit your job, and need to work full time. Kilgore offers classes that are easy to work with work schedules. As far as the nursing program at Kilgore there are many improvements that could made as well as with any school but what I learned there was a lot more than what some students get out of universities and higher degrees. Kilgore College nursing students don't have problems finding jobs like many other graduate nurses. My overall experience was great! Thank you Kilgore!"
