"When I started at King University, I struggled with a lot of mental health issues. I knew what I wanted to do i.e. learn more about Communication, but I physically and emotionally could not bring myself to do the work - and I was already 2 weeks into class. I continued to struggle and struggle until my grades paid the price. I eventually took time away from school to reconnect with my passions in life. In the fall of 2019, I began my studies again with the determination to absorb all the information I could. From the marketing and media communication to the ethical foreground that allows people to communicate effectively, I wanted to learn it all. With the help of the staff at King University, I was able to reapply, start right back where I started, and now I am graduating in 50 days. I will always cherish this experience in my life, because I am able to utilize every teaching in my everyday life. From work to home, I am going to productively use my Communication Degree. Thank you, King University, for believing in me."

"So far I have enjoyed my time and academic studies at King University. I am currently in COMM4100, or about halfway through to earning my Bachelor’s in Communications, and so far I have loved everything from learning about ethical theories to exploring all the opportunities a Communications major can bestow. I recommend this program for those who enjoy business, but would like to avoid the mathematical side of things."

"When I began looking for a school to complete my degree, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I ultimate went to the internet to find my answer. I searched the web for affordable, online schools that provided a good, flexible schedule since I was a full-time worker. I came across King University. Not only was the school accredited, it was in my budget and gave me a great degree I could use for just about any career path: Communications! I was so excited for my journey to start. I was ready to start school and plan for a future with my Bachelor of Communications. I finally started my online bachelor’s degree program at King University in 2017.Unfortunately at the time, I was struggling in my personal life, which ultimately led to me falling behind in my coursework. I would love to say I had an easy time getting myself back to good standing in school, but it was hard. I truly don’t think I would have made it to my final semesters of college without the wonderful teachers and administrators along the way. They encouraged me, raised me up, and helped me succeed again. I know I wouldn’t have had the same experience at any other school, which is why I am adamant about sharing my story. Little did I know that I all I needed to motivate myself was the inspirational, compassionate prayers and wisdom of King University. Now, I am one semester away from my degree and I couldn’t be any happier."

"My time at King University has been difficult, but very manageable. I once heard a friend say that her friends do not like King for various reasons. With that input in mind, I took a chance with King University. As part of my first semester at King, I am currently enrolled in an online B.S. in Communications program. It is great for any student looking into a Communications-based career. It gives me the freedom to work a job five days a week and still manage my classes. I will admit, in one of my classes (the four-month long class), I have neglected somewhat, and I have paid the price. With that said, if you are ready to earn a degree, where you will excel, and have the flexibility to work at your own pace, then this program is for you. My professors have been very kind to move around assignment due dates because of textbook delays due to Covid-19. If you are someone that is okay with typing papers than this program is for you. I love this program because it gives me the sense of taking marketing classes without majoring in business."

"I first chose King because the fully online B.S. in Communications program was one of the few that appeared fully online and affordable. The instructors at King are incredibly professional and are always willing to help students out. I had a lot of major life events happen during my time at King, but I never had to miss a beat on the path to my degree because every instructor was more than patient and understanding. This is an excellent school for those worried about cost and having to work full time with a family to support."

"My time at King College has been the most rewarding experience to date. Having attended another university before, I could not be more pleased with the education I have received. The COMM professors provided solid content in a thorough and informative manner; their instruction made the material enjoyable to learn! Although the University has religious values and missions, the COMM professors taught and provided content that was diverse and inclusive of all religions and dominations."

"King University can offer more than just a degree. Since attending, King has presented me with many opportunities to learn new skills and refine older ones. When beginning the program, I thought that I was going to be spending the next year and a half relearning old material, but I was very mistaken. The first course I took, Public Relations, impressed me greatly. In the first week, the instructor had taught us how to create a professional Press Release; it was very exciting to learn a skill that was actually relevant to a career path that I've considered pursuing, and PR was just the first course! The instructors that I've had through-out my experience in the COMM program have been extremely helpful. If I emailed any instructor with a question, every single one of them would respond almost immediately. I could not have asked to attend a better school. I've greatly enjoyed my time at King and I firmly believe that taking the COMM course has vastly prepared me for my chosen career path."

"My experience in King University’s online Communication program has been nothing but positive. When I chose to finish my degree online, I was afraid I would be sacrificing the quality of my education for the flexibility of an online degree. However, through King I was able to get my degree while working full time and never felt like I was missing out on a quality education. Classes are in 5-week terms, which seemed stressful at first, but I came to really enjoy. It allows you to focus completely on one subject at a time and get the most out of each class. The COMM professors are genuinely helpful and seem to care about the success of every student. Every professor I had gave helpful and thorough feedback on assignments that helped me better my work. The courses and topics covered are all practical and relevant to anyone in the workforce. Overall, I recommend King’s Online Communication program to anyone looking for a flexible way to get a great education."

"The online communications program here at King has been a great experience since the start. I was worried at first that online courses may be tricky when it came to communicating back and forth with the professors when I had questions, concerns, etc., but that has not been the case at all. Every professor I have had has been extremely quick to reply and they all seem to genuinely care about how you do in their classes. I would absolutely recommend this degree path to anyone wanting to learn legitimate skills that apply to the real world."

"I transferred into King University as a Junior from a large Knoxville University. I am Communications major and have taken many courses in the communications program. My experience has been great with flexible scheduling, and exceptional professors, such as Dr. Sloan, Professor Rebecca Huckaby, and Professor Cora Young. Our classes were only 5 weeks long. The 5-week courses allowed me, as a working adult, to obtain a degree with great flexibility. Each class has a low student to professor ratio, which allowed for more one-on-one time with each student. These professors are accessible and actually care about you obtaining the required elements of each class. The Communication Program offers a knowledgeable and experienced staff of professors who care for their students, that some are not from teaching backgrounds. Each professor shared opportunities in the workforce that suited the field of study for that course. I would recommend the Communication Program at King University to anyone that is seeking a bachelor's degree in East Tennessee."

"Almost ten years ago today, I began my college entry essay with this statement: “Hello, my name is Cameron Taylor and I am a senior at Richmond Christian School. This fall, I plan to major in mass communications at Liberty University. This degree will help me become a positive influence in my community.” This introduction was as vague as my life plans. Like most high school graduates, I knew very little about college. My parents, teachers, and friends conditioned me to see it as a stepping stone to adulthood. Little did I know, college would be the highest step, and the heaviest stone that would remain unturned in my life. Fast forward almost ten years and multiple failed college attempts, I found King University. This program although not exclusive, feels tailor made for my needs and learning style. During my time here I have made the Deans list as well as the Presidents list. I give all the credit to my wonderful professors who never help any punches and always pushed me to be the best version of myself. My only regret in my educational experience is that I didn’t find King University sooner."

"King Univesity is a small school located in beautiful Bristol, TN. The campus is surrounded by mountains and various rivers that you can hike, fish, hunt, or simply enjoy the scenery. As for the communications program, it is completely online with most of the professors located at King's satellite campus in Knoxville, TN. This was the third school I've taken online classes at and the various professors we're all accessible when trying to contact them. I lived several hours away from every professor and it was no issue to ask a question or get clarification on an assignment, it was as easy as if we were in class. The assignments you are given will be focused around the class, challenging but not the prototypical assignments that you find time-consuming with little to do with your career goals. Be prepared to use the required text in all of your classes. All in all, with COVID lingering and much of education being pushed online, this program should be considered strongly by any potential communication major."

"I first started at King University in July of 2017. The enrollment counselors talked me through each step of the enrollment process. The financial aid office helped my complete my FASFA and counseling for student loans. The bookstore staff helped me receive all of my books in a timely manner. Each professor I have had has been nothing short of amazing! They truly look for students to strive and obtain the class credits. They have always responded in a timely manner and even offered video conferencing if a student has needed help. Throughout the graduation process, the school makes sure that each student is available to receive their caps and gowns in both the Knoxville location and the Bristol location. Now that I am going back for my Master's Degree. The enrollment counselors call once a week to make sure that nothing is needed of them and we are just waiting for classes to start. Along with all new tutorials if they were needed. King University has been a blessing and a school that I will soon be part of the alumni!"

"I have been enrolled here at King for almost three years, and I truly believe that this University is one of the best online programs in the state of Tennessee. From the application process, all the way down to the instructors, each and every person I have had contact with, has been very helpful and genuinely makes me feel like they want me to succeed. Each class I have been in, has been very flexible and work friendly. I love how it feels like a self-paced program that does not just pile on classwork on you in a sink or swim kind of way. Without King and their COMM program online, I would not be able to obtain a bachelor’s degree in a major I like due to work and family. It is a Christian-based university and you are treated with such respect while you are at King, you honestly feel like family here. I am thankful I chose King!"

"I have been enrolled in COMM Studies at King University for about 3 months now. My first semester is coming to an end and my experience thus far has been very smooth and successful. I look forward to completing my degree here, and for those who decide to do the same, it is truly the best way to complete school in a timely manner. I am working a full-time job in the insurance industry working 40+ hours a week and I have not once struggled with balancing work and school. Having a balance of the two does require me to plan ahead and set time aside to complete my work, but it has never put me in a bind. I would recommend this program to anyone who is trying to work full time and complete their degree. The teachers have also been very understanding of my scenario. I have had to submit a few assignments late and sometimes life happens, but for the most part teachers are forgiving and allow you a chance to make up for a late assignment. King University allows me to fulfill my degree, have a work life and still have plenty of time with family and loved ones."

"I chose King University’s communication program, and it is the best decision I have made. I had gone to a community college but decided to take a year off to decide what I wanted to do. I ended up looking around for Tennessee colleges with communication programs. I wanted to be able to stay close to home, but also get a degree at an accredited college. It was important that if I went to school for communication that the school was an accredited college. I wanted to make sure I was going to leave the school with a successful job and a great salary. I found King University, researched their communication programs, and realized they had an online program. After taking a year off from college, I had a job that I worked full time and was going to struggle finding time for school. I was sold when I found out King University had an online program. I immediately put in my application, because flexible hours made it possible for me to work and go to school. I was so happy I could work on my school work on my own schedule. It was the right choice for me. I am pleased with my decision. The teachers are wonderful, communicate quickly and efficiently. The program has really helped me learn and develop for my degree. I have recommended King University to many people and continue to do so. The college is a perfect fit for busy bees like me."

"I started the Communication program at King University in January 2019. After researching my options of schools would provide me the best education, I found KING. Their online program makes it convenient for working adults to complete a bachelor’s degree in a fast-track degree program in 16-18 months. The application process was one of the easiest I have dealt with and the faculty and staff is helpful and always available to answer questions. I am very please with how smoothly this process has been for me. I would recommend King COMM program to anyone who is thinking about going back to college."

"As a third semester communication major at King University, I can confidently say that I have had the most incredible experience thus far. From the process of transfering to King University to the unseen teachers who somehow care so deeply, this online program has been a dream. When I began the transfer process, I was a bit nervous about commiting to an all online program as I had only ever been in classrooms with professors directly in front of me. Never had I dreamed of being an online student, but here I am, and I am loving it! In my three semesters here, I have seen and noticed so much change in both my casual and professional communication skills. From being more intentional in my conversations to noticing how others communicate, this program has really grown my knowledge and skills on how to effectively communicate with others. As I am set to graduate in May of 2020, I reflect on all of my professors and how they were there for me in many email conversations providing guidance, I think about how intentional my success coaches were who truly wanted to see me flourish, I think about how much I have been pushed and grown throughout this process, and can say with confidence that I could not have asked for a better experience. So, if you are a student seeking a bachelor’s degree in communication but uncertain of your next move, I urge you to very heavily consider calling King University your home!"

"My experience at King University has been very positive. This is my first semester and experience with online courses in the online COMM program. King has many attractive qualities, it is an affordable school that offers quality education and is Christian-based. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. From my enrollment counselor navigating me through what classes to take for my program to my success specialist answering my questions, their support is very encouraging. I enjoy that most of the classes are condensed to 5 week courses rather than semester long. Another benefit of the online communication program is that it can be finished sooner than most schools. This online program also allows me to be able to balance my school life with my everyday life because of the flexibility. Another benefit of King University are the professors, they are personable and easy to reach out to. Even though I’m not in a traditional classroom setting, I still feel like I can participate and interact with my fellow online classmates. This Christian-based, accredited school offers so much!"

"My experience with King University thus far has been a positive experience. I attend college right out of highschool high school, but ended up taking some time off for awhile due to the fact I really had no idea what I wanted to do. However, when I decided to go back and finish my communications degree. I work full time and so I needed something that was gonna going to be flexible for me. I was recommended to King University's online program. King is known in my area for being a top rated university who's graduates have a high job placement after graduation. They offer a 100% online degree that can be completed in 18 months. It can be intense as you complete a class every 5 weeks. However, it is the perfect set up for someone who doesn't have time to attend traditional classes. The professors are always easy to communicate with, and anytime I have ever had an issue they always are willing to work with me. I definitely recommend this program and university."
