"When I began looking for a school to complete my degree, I had no idea what I wanted to do. I ultimate went to the internet to find my answer. I searched the web for affordable, online schools that provided a good, flexible schedule since I was a full-time worker. I came across King University. Not only was the school accredited, it was in my budget and gave me a great degree I could use for just about any career path: Communications! I was so excited for my journey to start. I was ready to start school and plan for a future with my Bachelor of Communications. I finally started my online bachelor’s degree program at King University in 2017.Unfortunately at the time, I was struggling in my personal life, which ultimately led to me falling behind in my coursework. I would love to say I had an easy time getting myself back to good standing in school, but it was hard. I truly don’t think I would have made it to my final semesters of college without the wonderful teachers and administrators along the way. They encouraged me, raised me up, and helped me succeed again. I know I wouldn’t have had the same experience at any other school, which is why I am adamant about sharing my story. Little did I know that I all I needed to motivate myself was the inspirational, compassionate prayers and wisdom of King University. Now, I am one semester away from my degree and I couldn’t be any happier."

"My time at King University has been difficult, but very manageable. I once heard a friend say that her friends do not like King for various reasons. With that input in mind, I took a chance with King University. As part of my first semester at King, I am currently enrolled in an online B.S. in Communications program. It is great for any student looking into a Communications-based career. It gives me the freedom to work a job five days a week and still manage my classes. I will admit, in one of my classes (the four-month long class), I have neglected somewhat, and I have paid the price. With that said, if you are ready to earn a degree, where you will excel, and have the flexibility to work at your own pace, then this program is for you. My professors have been very kind to move around assignment due dates because of textbook delays due to Covid-19. If you are someone that is okay with typing papers than this program is for you. I love this program because it gives me the sense of taking marketing classes without majoring in business."

"I first chose King because the fully online B.S. in Communications program was one of the few that appeared fully online and affordable. The instructors at King are incredibly professional and are always willing to help students out. I had a lot of major life events happen during my time at King, but I never had to miss a beat on the path to my degree because every instructor was more than patient and understanding. This is an excellent school for those worried about cost and having to work full time with a family to support."

"My time at King College has been the most rewarding experience to date. Having attended another university before, I could not be more pleased with the education I have received. The COMM professors provided solid content in a thorough and informative manner; their instruction made the material enjoyable to learn! Although the University has religious values and missions, the COMM professors taught and provided content that was diverse and inclusive of all religions and dominations."

"King University can offer more than just a degree. Since attending, King has presented me with many opportunities to learn new skills and refine older ones. When beginning the program, I thought that I was going to be spending the next year and a half relearning old material, but I was very mistaken. The first course I took, Public Relations, impressed me greatly. In the first week, the instructor had taught us how to create a professional Press Release; it was very exciting to learn a skill that was actually relevant to a career path that I've considered pursuing, and PR was just the first course! The instructors that I've had through-out my experience in the COMM program have been extremely helpful. If I emailed any instructor with a question, every single one of them would respond almost immediately. I could not have asked to attend a better school. I've greatly enjoyed my time at King and I firmly believe that taking the COMM course has vastly prepared me for my chosen career path."

"My experience in King University’s online Communication program has been nothing but positive. When I chose to finish my degree online, I was afraid I would be sacrificing the quality of my education for the flexibility of an online degree. However, through King I was able to get my degree while working full time and never felt like I was missing out on a quality education. Classes are in 5-week terms, which seemed stressful at first, but I came to really enjoy. It allows you to focus completely on one subject at a time and get the most out of each class. The COMM professors are genuinely helpful and seem to care about the success of every student. Every professor I had gave helpful and thorough feedback on assignments that helped me better my work. The courses and topics covered are all practical and relevant to anyone in the workforce. Overall, I recommend King’s Online Communication program to anyone looking for a flexible way to get a great education."

"The online communications program here at King has been a great experience since the start. I was worried at first that online courses may be tricky when it came to communicating back and forth with the professors when I had questions, concerns, etc., but that has not been the case at all. Every professor I have had has been extremely quick to reply and they all seem to genuinely care about how you do in their classes. I would absolutely recommend this degree path to anyone wanting to learn legitimate skills that apply to the real world."

"I transferred into King University as a Junior from a large Knoxville University. I am Communications major and have taken many courses in the communications program. My experience has been great with flexible scheduling, and exceptional professors, such as Dr. Sloan, Professor Rebecca Huckaby, and Professor Cora Young. Our classes were only 5 weeks long. The 5-week courses allowed me, as a working adult, to obtain a degree with great flexibility. Each class has a low student to professor ratio, which allowed for more one-on-one time with each student. These professors are accessible and actually care about you obtaining the required elements of each class. The Communication Program offers a knowledgeable and experienced staff of professors who care for their students, that some are not from teaching backgrounds. Each professor shared opportunities in the workforce that suited the field of study for that course. I would recommend the Communication Program at King University to anyone that is seeking a bachelor's degree in East Tennessee."

"Almost ten years ago today, I began my college entry essay with this statement: “Hello, my name is Cameron Taylor and I am a senior at Richmond Christian School. This fall, I plan to major in mass communications at Liberty University. This degree will help me become a positive influence in my community.” This introduction was as vague as my life plans. Like most high school graduates, I knew very little about college. My parents, teachers, and friends conditioned me to see it as a stepping stone to adulthood. Little did I know, college would be the highest step, and the heaviest stone that would remain unturned in my life. Fast forward almost ten years and multiple failed college attempts, I found King University. This program although not exclusive, feels tailor made for my needs and learning style. During my time here I have made the Deans list as well as the Presidents list. I give all the credit to my wonderful professors who never help any punches and always pushed me to be the best version of myself. My only regret in my educational experience is that I didn’t find King University sooner."

"King Univesity is a small school located in beautiful Bristol, TN. The campus is surrounded by mountains and various rivers that you can hike, fish, hunt, or simply enjoy the scenery. As for the communications program, it is completely online with most of the professors located at King's satellite campus in Knoxville, TN. This was the third school I've taken online classes at and the various professors we're all accessible when trying to contact them. I lived several hours away from every professor and it was no issue to ask a question or get clarification on an assignment, it was as easy as if we were in class. The assignments you are given will be focused around the class, challenging but not the prototypical assignments that you find time-consuming with little to do with your career goals. Be prepared to use the required text in all of your classes. All in all, with COVID lingering and much of education being pushed online, this program should be considered strongly by any potential communication major."
