"This school truly did help me on my learning career. They not only helped me getting into school and supplying me with all the resources I needed, but also helped me when I left their school. They helped me get a job before I left so I could be set up. I am so grateful I went to this college and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!"

"First off I would never recommend this school to anyone at anytime! They are dishonest and way to expensive. They never told me that the associate degree would be an occupational associates degree, they seemed to have left that out. The cost for going to the school for an associates is way too much and had I been wiser I wouldve gone else where. I learned absolutely nothing from the classes I took and some of the teachers are lazy! I basically paid a large amount of money for a piece of paper. I would never recommend this school to anyone!"

"This school said we were going to be able to get a job in medical billing and coding when they were trying to get us to go to their school, but they were not able to help us get jobs, and half way through started telling us to do front desk positions, which pay way less than billing and coding. I am trying to get my money back for this. I feel they were very dishonest."

"I was very satisfied with the Professional Business Systems Program (PBS) at Laurus. The Instructors were amazing, helpful and very professional. Teachers and Staff were worked always willing to work with you, if you got behind. Students that I met on campus were friendly, and didn't mind helping you, if you had a question, concern or computer problem because the staff had left for the day. I worked morning/ days, so the evening classes were a great fit for me. Attending a class every 5 weeks worked out great for me and I never felt overwhelmed with homework. It gives you an opportunity to focus on that one class/ subject, study and complete the homework and quizzes . I was also encouraged by one of my Instructors to write an article for the Laurus Magazine, which I never thought I was capable of doing, and it was successfully printed. I was very proud of the accomplishment and grateful that I was given the opportunity to be a part of the first volume of the magazine. I would definitely recommend Laurus College to anyone that is considering going back to school. Part of attending Laurus is after graduation, you are still part of the Laurus family, and if I ever want to brush up on anyone of the classes I completed,I have that option."

"I really enjoy teachers who want to teach you the tools and the reasons behind using them. The instructors really seemed to like when I wanted to go above and beyond. They saw how each of us learned at a different pace and I think the one on one style really worked for me. I like being hands on and being encourage to not just sit in class but work to develop my own style and pace"

"Laurus College was one of the best experiences of my life. I had instructors who were hard and ones who were amazing, but they all wanted me to succeed. I was a hybrid student going between the campus and online. There were Pro's for each. I loved going to the campuses and meeting my instructors, fellow students, and some of the Laurus staff. Everyone was so extremely nice and helpful. The online experience was great as well being able to login where ever for class was convenient. There were of course a few Con's but they were small. For instance, I couldn't show up to campus in my pj's. After graduating I found a job rather quickly thanks to the career service department of the school. Now, I am working in my field and loving it. My life before Laurus was depressing and stagnant. Now I feel like my life is on the right path to success and I am happy."

"I had to give 5 stars across the board. Not only was the faculty caring and attentive to my every need, but I always felt that I was put first. The instructors are very knowledgeable in their specified fields, because all of them worked in their fields! I felt that I was given an edge attending Laurus College. Best of all, I felt that I was treated like family, not just a number or a cold statistic. Easily one of the best decisions I have ever made, and will make again when they offer Bachelor's Degrees."

"When I started Laurus College I was homeless and jobless, everyone of my teachers and staff new my situation and did whatever they could to accomodate me while i was attending school. With the help of financial aid I was able to rent a room and maintain that room for a year now.The first year in a half was hard but everyone was supportive and helped me in being able to stay in school and get the proper tools for interviewing and the self confidence i needed to succeed in maintaining on my own. I especially want to thank G.G.for his help in showig me that I was more capable of getting a job than i felt I was he helped me find confdence in myself I didn't know I had and he was someone I felt comftorable with learning from. All my teachers were warm and empathetic towards me they didn't look down on me for being homeless and neither did any of my classmates.. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and I now have a job where I have room for advancement in the future, If i hadn't of had Laurus College I might not be the person I am now with a bright future a chance to succeed in life."

"Laurus College will help anyone suceed with a new Peer Mentor Program. If you need help they will walk you through the programs. Laurus College leaves no one behind. I would like to say. The tuition is very inexpensive and a great degree. I did not even no how to use a computer when I got there let alone build a computer or fix a computer. I can do both now. I know all the microsoft office suites, IT and Networking with Act.dir. SQL End User, some Linux, command line, deployment, and much much more. So this is the place to start if all the community colleges are full this is a great place to be. Laurus college has a team of individuals working for you all through the program. The classes are five weeks long so the program is accelerated. Laurus gives an individual a lving expense if your income is nothing or low. They are accrediated and other graduate Colleges does accept Laurus Credits. Not all of them but lots them do. Get your AA degree today at Laurus College."

"Great college for older adult looking for a career change. I would be careful and see who takes the credits before going there if you intend on transfering to a four year college. Con, Pros they work with you and its very affordable. A good starting point."

"I did enjoy the school and most of my teachers where good. I was lucky enough to get some hands on knowledge while in school but when I finished school, I struggled to find a job. I got really lucky and found a job as a entry level tech in a local company and within my first week, the experienced tech I work with told me when people looking for a job came in and dropped of their resume and he see's Laurus College on their resume, he doesn't care who you are,he throws it away. He said the school does not prepare you at all for actually working in the field. He said it's a waste of 10,000. Laurus advertises you will find a job straight out school, that's a lie. Unless you already have experience in the industry, finding a job is a struggle. After finishing Laurus I was planning on attending again for Networking, and I asked the tech I work with and he recommended I save my money and teach it to myself."

"I really enjoyed my classes at Laurus College. I always wanted to do something more than just work on cars, and computers was my next choice. My instructors helped me out a lot as a I made my way through my courses and then I started attending online when they started offering that. I'm currently working at a local IT repair shop and I'm thinking of going back to Laurus to get an Associate Degree so I can learn Networking too."

"Im attending the school currently and from what goes on its fairly easy process theres homework but when i reviewed the teachers the only education 95 percent of them had was their degree from Laurus College and well its not the best thing to boast about if you have no other education yet your teaching people who are paying in the thousands for teaching that they hope to recieve a job in. The only people i clearly saw education on was the medical billing teachers one has 20 years the other has about 15 and the main person that runs the program has had a great deal of education and experience. They know what the students will typically be dealing with and can steer you in the right direction. But thats the teachers for the school...uh i dont think they help you find a job as much as they say they do. This girl was asked that question because she said shes graduating soon and she said no one has mentioned anything. So if you plan on going here and thinking you will get a job from the 3d Graphics or as a computer tech. I highly doubt it. As for the Medical Billing and Microsoft well the microsoft classers are teaching you how to use Word, Excel and the others which if you want to be receptionist is good. The only thing is to get the degree its about 26 thousand if my memory is right and really if you went to calpoly online or even to cuesta college classes you would save yourself so much money. If you have no where else that will convience you try here, but the business ive met havent even heard of Laurus."
