Lebanon Valley College Reviews

Ok so do not be fooled by all the "gleaming reviews" of this school because I can most certainly attest that this place id getting bad really fast. Their gen bio and chem classes are a joke set up to weed out kids which seems ridiculous seeing as it is an ENTRY LEVEL COURSE. They continuously add "requirements" to your major like Constellation or capstone classes so you have to either spend more than 4 years (which means your financial aid is up) or pay out of pocket $500 dollars per credit in order to make up for your own degree. Forget about getting constructive criticism on your work in upper level bio courses because it will just come down to you being "technically right" but not having the exact words they want written down. This is supposed to be a college not a place of broken spirits and dreams, I can only speak for the Bio and Chem courses I have taken but I here the music courses aren't all they're cracked up to be either! Their classes just get canceled leaving them in limbo till they can figure out what to do! All this grand ol' fun for the whopping price tag of almost $60,000! Come on LVC you are not Ivy League and will never be.
LVC provided an outstanding educational experience for an adult veteran. Professors were flexible and administration was supportive. In the in the 30 years since graduation I have always felt either on par with or better prepared than peers. Have been professionally employed continuously. LVC is terrific! Later took MBA at Penn State Harrisburg - felt I was just a number there.
I started at Lebanon Valley College to play basketball, but after a career ending injury, I found my new passion in the psychology department. Even after not being able to play basketball, I was so glad I went to LVC. It fully prepared me for graduate school and my future career.
LVC is a small private school in south central PA. It is a close-knit community with a small faculty-to-student ratio, making it ideal for people who are looking for intimate class environments and close connections with their academic community. Choosing LVC was perhaps one of the single most important decisions of my life; the classes entirely shifted how I saw the world, and the people I encountered there became lifelong friends. I am now in a graduate program and can say with utmost certainty that LVC prepared me well.
I liked Lebanon Valley College, it was a college that felt comfortable, while still being a new and exciting experience. The professors were knowledgeable and students were friendly.
LVC is a great small, private liberal arts school that was extremely helpful in my personal and professional development. I truly recommend visiting to anyone that is looking for small class sizes and a great education.
Lebanon Valley College was the best educational experience I had to date. I have attended three colleges/universities for a Bachelor's degree and two Master's degrees and I continue to sincerely appreciate my time at LVC. I learned the necessary content but I also learned valuable skills that translate to real-world experiences to help me be successful.
Small, liberal arts college. Great for science, music, education, and Doctor of physical therapy programs
While expensive this school has great financial aid and scholarship options.
Your experience at LVC (or wherever you end up) is what you make it. The class sizes are small enough that you can build relationships with your professors and classmates for empowering educational opportunities outside of the classroom. Resources are abundant, so join clubs, study abroad, work on research with your professors, and get involved. Your experience should be so much more than the degree you earn at the end.
