"Liberty University Online can be described with one word: amazing. LUO is ranked one of the best online schools in the nation and they hold up to that ranking. I have always had great experience with academic advising. Each time I have talked on the phone with an academic adviser they always seem to know the answers to the questions I am asking, find the answers, provide me with contacts to the people who can provide answers, give me new information I did not know prior, and provide a delightful experience where they truly care about each student. I have had many conversations with academic advising that have lasted over an hour and that was not just about my classes but about my life and sometimes including prayer. This is not just the case for academic advising though, it is the case for the faculty as well. Each professor is willing to help, guide, and talk as much as needed. I have had professors talk on the phone with me about ideas for furthering my education, pray for me, and help me understand assignments better. There has never been a moment with this university that they have been less then exceptional. If you are thinking about going to college online, look no further, Liberty University will not disappoint."

"Liberty is a great school, especially for those who are either active duty military or family member. I was able to earn my degree online while I served on active duty. Their tuition is reasonable and they go the extra mile to offer as much financial aide, discounts and affordable payment plans as possible. There were a lot of books to order during my undergrad, but they were always available through the school or other sources. I was also impressed with the degree offerings at Liberty and their willingness to help me find a program that would maximize the credits I already had form previous schools."

"I began attending Liberty Christian University online in 2013. I attended each semester taking at least 9 hours. It has truly been a great experience, with great Godly professors that are understanding, interact with students and are very helpful. I will graduate with my Interdisciplinary Studies degree with a minor in Public Admin in December 2017. I cannot say enough about my experience with LUO! Yes if you live out of state it is costly but the fact is, you cannot find great education like you will receive at LUO! And it is very recognizable by many companies around the world."

"I have read many negative reviews and I must say that I am convinced that if you are negative that is the only perception you can really see. I can not say more positive things about this school and I would like to address some of the negative comments left by others by saying...This school is not a cake walk and the degrees are definitely challenging, I have had not so friendly professors and super friendly ones, It has on average the same kind of tuition rate as any other online school, there have been multiple times that I have needed extensions and they were granted, and last but certainly not least this is a Christian College as it was started just as our country was on the foundations and principles of God, which is Jesus Christ and it seems to me as a Christian the first thing that anyone wants to throw at you or even a school when they are in any way displeased is the "THEY CALL THEMSELVES CHRISTIANS". If anyone writing a review that wants to throw that out there, I would have a really hard time believing that they are a Christian themselves. Please note that being a Christian doesn't mean that your perfect. In fact, we know how flawed we are that we need a savior that let the world beat Him to death and that was still not good enough. Any institution that one might choose could have potential issues, but I must say that Liberty University has been nothing but a wonderful experience where I have grown in intellect and in my walk with my Father Jesus Christ. I am dual enrolled this semester transitioning into my masters in counseling and if I am more than pleased that I am at Liberty University."

"So, I tried to go here, before transferring out because this place is incredibly judgmental, and horrible for military students. This is the application process for transfer students 1) Apply 2) Sign up for classes 3) find out if you're accepted 4)pay. Here's how it is at other colleges 1)Apply 2. them analyze your credits, see what you need to do 4) Sign up for credits 5) Pay I applied, and was told I had to sign up for classes to finish the application process. I told them I think I should wait, since military credits are little weird, and I wanted to see what they'd accept - so I'd know what I need. They said "You need to sign up for classes to apply, that's it" So I signed up, and of course, what I thought would happen did, I sign up for classes I already had credits for, then they wouldn't let me switch out of them. So I did the classes, and while doing it - mind you I work in intelligence - I did the papers, and had my superior at work look them over to "fact-check" them. And I failed like half the papers - why? Because my answer weren't biblical enough. This school doesn't care about teaching you what's right, they care about you learning what they think is right. aka a cult. This school sets you up for failure - hence why the graduation rate sucks, and why the median salary after graduation sucks. I left this "school" and went to a real college."

"Very sad, the admissions/financial aid process is horrible, I was forced to send document after document to prove I could get fafsa when I wasnt even using fafsa aid because I was using my husbands gi bill I am legally blind and was having trouble getting everything they wanted done and they were rude to me like I was stupid when I just cant see or drive to take care of noterized documents etc and would not allow me to use gi bill instead of fafsa. When my high school sent my transcrips the wrong way they sent rude emails I just cant believe they treated me this way and am going to a different school now, several schools were very willing to help me and my situation but they refused"
