"I just completed my MSN online. For the most part, the professors were knowledgeable and helpful. I was pleased with the coursework- but it requires a lot of lengthy APA papers. As far as some of the advising issues mentioned, there is a degree completion plan that shows you exactly what classes need to be taken (and is updated as you complete them!) I’m not sure where all of the advising issues stem from with this available. Overall, the program is regionally and ccne accredited & affordable (especially for military). I can’t recommend this school enough"

"It was a terrible experience and the school was very political. I found the admission department and nursing faculty very uncaring, disorganized and hypocritical. The school just wanted money no matter how they get it. The professors were never available if you had questions regarding assignments. Most of the time they never responded back to you until after the assignments were turned in. They graded on petty things for example if you turned an assignment in as an attachment instead of copying and pasting it then they would fail you. There was one particular instructor that would blame the curriculum for her poor grading stating it was the way this program was designed. She was the teacher but yet she would still blame program for her actions. The education was the worst education I ever received. I did not learn anything. Please do not go here if you are reading this and do not take the online study MSN course. It is not worth it in any way, shape or form. If you have any questions or problems no one cared or did anything. They only want your money and nothing else."

"There's a reason why LU online makes their admissions an easy process. They will tell you what you want to hear, then when it's time to deliver, you'll realize you've been scammed. I was told by LU recruitment that when it came time to complete my practicum courses, that they would arrangement placement. THAT was a BIG BIG LIE!! I was told I would be assigned a MSN academic advisor. NOPE!! You won't get that either. Here's my advice if you do decide to attend LUO. Write down EVERYTHING, date, time, etc. Record conversations if possible. Print off your grade after each assignment. After I filed my grade appeals, and provided evidence of discrimination, a few of my rubrics, and professors comments were changed. If you really think this is a Christian based university, and that your professors will be caring, understanding, compassionate, and/or enjoy teaching, THINK AGAIN!! President Jerry Farwell should investigate the unethical, unprofessional treatment of online students. Remember, online students have NO resources available for when you have problems. Right now, I can't get ANYONE to return my calls, or emails. I have so much money wasted in this horrible university. They know it's difficult for students to start over at another university. Online students have no rights, students are forced to retake courses. This means more money for the university, and higher student loan debts for the student. Stay far away from this university. My hope is that God punishes every single person involved in scamming online students, and uses God's name in to do it. SHAME SHAME SHAME!!! Don't let LUO make you a victim too."

"Do NOT attend LU online program. The recruiters will tell you that they have practicum facilities, and MSN advisors available whenever you needed. IT'S ALL A LIE! I have thousands of dollars invested in this horrible school. When it came time for my practicum courses, no one would help. I can't get anyone to return my calls. I had a problem with a professor. To cover her tracks, she replaced the grading rubrics, and lied. You can't file an,appeal until the course is over. They make money off of making students repeat courses. The MSN academic advisor won't return calls. The student advocate office won't help. The Dean of Nursing rejected my appeal without looking at a the documents I submitted proving discrimination and bias professor. I pray that God punishes these people for lying and cheating people. They are misrepresenting the Christian Church! There are no resources for online students!! I had a professor ridicule and degrade me because I shared that my daughters learning disabilities inspired me to be a nurse educator. The professor also said my professional goals were ridiculous. Now I know why nurses today aren't taught compassion. STAY FAR AWAY FROM SATAN UNIVERSITY!!"

"Save your money! Their online program is a joke. They'll tell you what you want to hear, but won't deliver. Academic advisors don't return calls, or you get one that knows absolutely nothing about your degree program. If you're on an old completion degree program, they'll set you up to fail just so they can get rid of you. God would not approve of the way they treat people. Stay far away from this university. They only care about taking your money!!"
