"Terrible school, very money hungry. I have had a horrible experience. After being told my only option was to withdraw when going into labor preterm and having to pay thousands of dollars extra to return to being withdrew with no notification from the school in my 3rd term and being told I was unable to return and finish the program with no real explanation. They sell you hopes and dreams as a prospective student but once you start it’s you against the entire school. The staff don’t have your best interest and do not do anything to help, it’s almost as if they want to see you fail. It’s unfair. You definitely do not receive a 30k+ education. If you have other options for nursing school take them!!!"

"The fact the admissions department can call minors on weekends, late nights and text from their personal cell is very disturbing! The president of the school turns his head when confronted with a problem !!! A lot of the staff is unprofessional, rude, nasty and disrespectful."

"Don’t go to Lincoln tech in Shelton ct. they change their policies every second. In my fourth mod midway though they changed their grading policies when it came to ATI grade scale. They took the scale away so everybody’s avg dropped to where you couldn’t pass. Three senators and the ct higher education is investigating the school. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL."

"How is it ok to have 9 failed students in a term and you are still teaching? This Night Term 2 Pharmacology teacher should not be teaching us period. We basically teach ourselves no study guides for tests then will test on 3 and 4 chapters at a time!"

"If you are considering Nursing DONT!! No college will accept the credits. You will have no choice but to start over if you plan to pursue your RN license. That means taking all courses over again! This is what they do not make clear. Now if you are happy simply being an LPN and will not progress then yes this is a great school. Do not waste 2 years of your life here if you want to be an RN, go to a community college, get all Gen Ed courses and go to an ADN program."

"I attended the Lincoln tech nursing program in Lincoln Rhode Island. My experience there was alright. I did feel like a few of the mods I had to just read the book because in mod 2 we had a teacher start out teaching the mod and then someone else came and made the test and it was nothing we were taught. In mod 4 we had a teacher accept another job and she was supposed to finish out our mod she kept missing our classes and she would be teaching us chapters way in advanced we would be testing on chapters 10,12,15,16,17 and would be learning chapters 30-35. I graduated in December of 2019 shortly before the pandemic began. I never got to have a graduation ceremony we ended up with a cheap “virtual” graduation that just showed our name on a power point that someone read off of. I received a tassel for the wrong year in the mail. I never received my lantern. None of us were able to participate in the graduation yet they had one person who actually worked there participate. The final straw has been that NO ONE will accept their credits. I am not able to transfer anything over to any school accept another technical school. I want my Nurse practitioner and don’t wish to attend another technical school. When I met with admissions I was told they were accredited and that I would be able to transfer credits to other colleges and that is far from the truth."

"So I attended LTI in Edison for the LPN evening program. It started off great.....but by third quarter I felt as if we had instructors who weren't familiar with the material they were teaching. They would speed through the material as if we should know it....stumbling over words and answering yes to every question a student asked which was not correct. A lot of my classmates didn't make it to 4th quarter I believe simply because of poor instructions. I had to do a lot of self study.... they then moved the school fourth quarter. ....I mean come on you move the school and still expect people to be there on time....and most of us evening students come to class directly after getting off at 5 pm. You are expected to be there at 6pm sharp with no grace period. This is a clocked course and once u reach 37.5 hours missed in a quarter. You are done! I recently had a dispute with the business office regarding an alleged refund; I made my pymt over the phone as I have been doing for the last almost 2 years. .and on a Tuesday at 4:58 pm I get a call saying they refunded me money as opposed to taking the pymt. The alleged refund was not in my account and I explained this to the director of the business office she was adamant that I had this money which I did not. If I couldn't bring in the money the night of class I could not attend until I made this pymt. I cried begged and pleaded to pay on Thursday but was still told no money. No class. Thank god a classmate made the pymt for me and I repaid her. So bottom line is this school is all about money! The emotional well-being of students is a joke to them. The only good thing is a you can meet and connect with some great people in class. However most of them are haters and can't stand if someone gets a higher score. My gpa is a 3.64 and I'm expected to finish in Oct 2016! Hindsight is 2020 and if I knew then what I know now I would have found another program!"

"Current evening Practical Nursing student in my last term at Moorestown. I hear a lot of complaints, and I would have to disagree. Instructors are nice and educated. You do have to put the effort in and study, its a hard program. Other then that, Im completely satisfied with my education I received so far, and can't wait to take my NCLEX. One of the best organized Technical school around."

"LTI in Lincoln RI would be a good program if they would do away with the ATI person who tries to undermine every student and instructor in the building. Woman claims to be an RN but according to the board of nursing in the same state she doesn't even have an expired RI license so why is she pretending to be an RN in RI? Fraudulent. Not to mention she has lied to our class so many times the devil probably blushes."

"This school is the WORST SCHOOL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. The teachers are totally clueless they dont teach at all they throw books at you and expect you to know the material inside and out even if you have no prior knowledge of the material. The grading system is totally messed up. As an LPN student you take a course the last month of your first quarter. There is a total of 3 exams and a final all equaling 95% of your grade. Yea really fair to set students up for failure. If you fail that class and want to repeat you only get ONE REPEAT FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR and you have to drop out of school and re enroll. Nothing of that is said at orientation or anywhere else. Basically you get a phone call saying "you only get on free repeat so it should be taken into consideration if you truly want to use it on a 30 hr course because if you fail any of the bulk classes through out the rest of the yr you will have to pay for them out of pocket" real encouraging right!!!!! Bust your hump day in and day out to be thrown around like a ping pong ball in an overpriced $30,000 program to feel like crap and have no direction on where else to go because you gave so much money to the school that turned into crap!!!! Not to mention the lack of clean classrooms and bathrooms without TP and paper towels, the so called lunch room is disgustimg and never cleaned and all it contains are vending machines that steal your money constantly, real nice for students who are at school from 8a-2:45p a day. The staff are rude and refuse to help when multiple students complain. The tests do not match the work, the clinicals are awful in disgusting nursing homes where pts are treated like garbage and abused. I regret ever going to the Edison campus and I suggest ppl who are considering going do your research before you waste financial aid money to go there. I am so beyond disgusted and angry that now I have to find another program to get into. Oh and major word of advice IF YOU WANT TO BECOME AN RN YOU WILL NEED TO TAKE THE WHOLE RN PROGRAM BC NONE OF THE CLASSES YOU TAKE HERE ARE TRANSFERABLE AT ALL, TOTALLY UNRECOGNIZED. So unless you want to be an LPN as a career re-think your choice."

"Lincoln tech in Edison WOULD be a fantastic school if they weren't so rude.. Select people in the office are 100% rude, they have attitude with students and when bothered to help a student they bring off a vibe that there annoyed. It's not comforting.. For being in a LPN program the select teachers are not what a nursing student should have as a teacher... We're not being taught how we should be. And going for help does NOT help a single bit. I feel that the school is so unorganized. And with the amount of money you pay for the LPN program it's not worth it because the education I am getting it useless, and I'm teaching myself. So for 30,000+ for this program it is not worth it."

"Terrible school who only cares about the loans you are going to take out to attend there. Highly unorganized by the Director of Nursing. Staff was somewhat good. Program is VERY expensive and not worth the money you spend. The school does not care about you what so ever. No student support. Complete waste of time and money. The Hamden, CT campus that I went to closed down in June 2014."

"This is the worst school I've ever gone to. The nursing supervisor for nights is a control freak and is extremely rude as is most of the instructors.Everyone talks to you as if you were in 3rd grade. Its so painful to attend that I want to drop out but then I will be stuck with a 32k loan. Instructors teach you by reading from a PowerPoint and if you ask a question they belittle you in front of the class and say you should know that already. Real sucky school. Very disorganized and I would tell anyone who's thinking of going here for the lpn program to run away as fast as you can. Oh and if you're 1 minute late from your 10 minute break you will be docked 1 hour, which means you have to come in an hour early the next day to make the time up.Oh and on your days off don't forget to check your engrade online because the nursing supervisor likes to give tons of extra busy work for you to find time to do on the weekends. Incredible...."

"Highly unorganized school. Overpriced by too much $34,000 for the nursing program. The staff is rude and the minute you need extra help you are on your own. Not allowed to see what you go wrong on a test so how do you learn from your mistakes. I was kicked out for failing a class by one point. Since I was 3/4 thru the program and paid in cash, I HAVE NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE AND DEBT. Compete waste of time and money. The school is constantly having new staff because the Director of Nursing is so rude. She has NO compassion for anyone. That place makes me sick to my stomach, especially when I see their joke of commercials on TV. I attended the Hamden Connecticut campus. What a joke this school is!"

"Going to Lincoln Tech in Edison, NJ was the biggest regret in my life. I went there when it was fairly new (we were only the third class). The school was terrible. It was highly unorganized, I didn't learn anything that was actually needed and it did not prepare me for nursing jobs. I spent over $20, 000 going there and now I'm in debt with loans. I passed the classes with flying colors and grated with "honors" and I still failed the NCLEX the first time. They told us that the previous class had a passing rate of 80 something percent but what they didn't tell us was the class size was considerably smaller because it was the first one. My friends and I did not know that and a lot of us failed the NCLEX. We all said we were not ready even though we did well in the actually classes and clinical. Till this day, I still have not gotten a job but I have gone to interviews. One of the places even said that Lincoln Tech was not a great school. If you really want to become a LPN, go to Middlesex VoTech. It is only a 1/4 of the tuition, they apparently more organized, and have a higher passing rate. Or even better, if you can get into a community college nursing program, go there because you can actually get a degree."
