"The Lipscomb campus is beautiful and is not far from downtown Nashville. The Mental Health Counseling Program prepares students to begin working in the field. I have enjoyed all of the professors and felt they had invaluable knowledge to share with the students. The program is CACREP certified and the instructors are invested in the student's success in becoming a licensed professional."

"I received my Masters in Leadership when the program initially started. It was a great concept and I learned a lot, but the staff lacked diversity. I had the same professors for multiple classes. I think the program has come a long way since."

"The best aspect about Lipscomb University specially in my Computer Engineering major is the quality of education provided. The department of engineering included various faculty members who have earned their experience during both professional and academic settings. This helped in providing the perfect mix of instruction potential and advice. They almost always had the appropriate guidance with respect to a variety of educational and career queries."

"Lipscomb is a wonderful campus located in a very safe neighborhood in Nashville, TN. The faculty and staff support student growth academically, athletically, and spiritually. I cannot think of a better place to go for the "total package" experience. The Communication Department in particular is a growing department with several knowledgeable professors who engage students in current new media practices and challenge them to grow through real-world assignments. However, regulations from the higher ups at the university prevent students from reporting on truly "groundbreaking" or controversial topics. You could call this a bit of censorship. On the other hand, students have plenty of opportunities to write, interview, shoot video and photography, edit, and work with a number of creative software. Also, the department runs a weekly campus news show which, although not highly popular among students on campus, gives journalism students good practice in newsroom behaviors and on-camera delivery. Professors are extremely kind and genuinely care about all aspects of each student's life. Often, they will invite students over for home cooked meals for class!"

"The Lipscomb Master's in Civic Leadership program was one that had a greater impact on my career and my life as a whole. This program is a true reflection of the possibilities and potential to influence the world around you from what you learn in the classroom. From hybrid courses that are offered to the use of technology and networking on-site at community activities, the skills developed over this 15-month course program being day one in acclimating you to the change agent that you can in the community. Solving real-world problems using conflict management techniques and collaborative relationships simultaneously as we put into action the skills we have developed each month of the program. This program is grounded in distinct principals and research based learning style, but is versatile in a sense to incorporate a students uniqueness."

"The graduate programs are incredibly competitive. I am currently in a cohort of about 16 students in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. It's a pricey school, but perhaps worth the money. This program is accredited, which makes their graduates a shoe-in for jobs. The admissions process was very scrambled, so be persistent. Call any department that you've submitted a form to and make sure they have it on file! The professors are incredibly friendly and easy to work with. The workload is hefty, so it's good to know you'll be able to ask a lot of questions easily. Located in beautiful Nashville, there's plenty of great food around the area."

"I have been very impressed with the quality of classes. The experience of professors and students make for a rich learning environment with a unique insight to the Nashville business world. Nashville is a wonderful city, but cost of living and transportation issues do make it more difficult to live close to city and campus. The professors, however, are fully aware of the constraints of living, working, and attending school and make assignments manageable."

"Lipscomb is a great school with a strong set of moral standards and a intense understanding of what kind of school they want to be. The best recommendation I could give an incoming student is to know what you are getting your self into before you commit. If you find the campus life and curriculum worth the price, than you should go all in, however if there is something you find off-putting, keep searching."

"Cons- Tuition is extremely expensive and on the rise. Once you graduate you will surely be almost 200k in debt. It is a new program and there are already six pharmacy schools in that state. Pros- Good education. Faculty is great. School works with Vanderbilt."

I feel as if my professors care about me and make a huge effort to support my goals for my future career. The campus is very safe, and offers a wide range of services for the students. I know I picked a good school for my graduate program."

"My graduate program that is offered at Lipscomb University College of Pharmacy is new, but well established. Most of the faculty members are part time professors and are practicing pharmacists at a separate facility, which means more more of a clinical approach to education. The surrounding area is very nice and safe, unlike where I attended for my undergraduate portion of my education. I am very excited to be a part of the College of Pharmacy at Lipscomb University."
