"It is a money making school, it is not education oriented. Student being place in the wrong class, no administration to help you out. Ended up spending more money and more time. Like I said money making machine. The advisors are not helpful when you try to reach to Assistant Dean or the Dean they send you right back to advisors who ended up doing nothing to help. My advice don't come to that school"

"I highly recommend becoming involved in LIU's Honors College. While the Honors programs requires extra electives, the professors are extremely dedicated to their students' work. They provide constructive help with assignments, and were always available for tutoring. The Honors program allowed me to enjoy returning to college after 15 years through its love of creative insight. While other classes were filled with students disinterested in the subjects, Honors program students were encouraged to consistently participate in thoughtful topics. Excellent program!"
