Degree: Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General
Graduation Year: 2015

The Theater program at Marquette is small enough to provide a really full, rich experience for students willing to work hard. The English department is filled with caring, interesting professors that are very willing to help out whenever you go to them.

Degree: Political Science
Graduation Year: 2001

Marquette University is one of the best all-around liberal arts colleges in the country. It fosters a concern for others based on motto of "cura personalis" and is constantly evolving to meet the growing needs of society and students. Service is key and students help volunteer to serve the surrounding community, as well as grow from experiences with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. Marquette is affordable and a student can meet other diligent and kind students in an urban setting with a welcoming Midwestern attitude and work ethic. Marquette University offers second-to-none study abroad opportunities to countries such as France, Mexico, Spain, and South Africa, as well as semester study in Washington, D.C. If you want a memorable and meaningful college university, Marquette University is right for you.

Degree: Biomedical Sciences, General
Graduation Year: 2016

The Biomedical Sciences degree was definitely geared towards preparing students for future education, whether it be Med School, PA School, or PT School. This degree exposed me to a wide array of material which allowed me to keep my options open in regards to which future profession I wanted to pick. Eventually after shadowing with various professions I chose Physical Therapy as my career path, and I'm now on the way towards earning my doctoral degree.

Degree: Exercise Physiology
Graduation Year: 2017

I am happy with my degree in exercise physiology from Marquette. The staff in the department are fantastic and clearly care about their students. I loved how hands on all of our labs were, and the department has updated equipment for students to use. I feel really well prepared for graduate school after being part of the exercise physiology program.

Degree: Athletic Training/Trainer
Graduation Year: 2017

Marquette's athletic training program has some of the most insightful instructors in the entire profession. Dave Leigh, a clinical associate professor, is renowned across the entire profession. His guidance has been some of the most helpful I've received in my career. Students have worked with professional teams throughout their college career and continued working with them after graduation. The athletic training program at Marquette does a wonderful job networking and preparing students for their careers.

Degree: Biomedical Engineering
Graduation Year: 2017

The biomedical engineering (BIEN) department here at Marquette has made such a positive impact on my education. The professors here are thoroughly invested in their students' success in the program. There are many opportunities to get into contact with professors to get help on assignments and exam studying as well as undergraduate research opportunities. Their help in my education was one of the reasons why I decided to stay here for my master's degree.

Degree: Journalism
Graduation Year: 2015

I transferred to Marquette University after one year at a different college. As soon as I transferred to the university, the experiences and opportunities that came with being apart of the Marquette community were astronomical. Not only did I gain internship opportunities, I was able to network with professors, who helped me throughout my time there. The course load is challenging, but I believe it is because the professors believe in their students, which gave me the confidence to work hard. Not only did I find support from professor but the university's counseling center also acted as a huge support system to me. I can honestly say that many of the things that I learned during my time at Marquette helped prepare me for my life post college, professionally and personally. I am truly thankful for my time there.

Marquette University was an amazing fit for me while pursuing my Bachelor of Arts degree. Course offerings, faculty presentation, student organization opportunities, residence life and so many other aspects of the university experience at Marquette were delivered through a social justice lens. I am so thankful for the education I received while at Marquette!
