"This school is a complete joke. You will basically teach yourself because the instructors rely on Powerpoints and that is the material they consistently teach from. Also, many of the instructors are on a power trip and have major attitudes with their students. This school is a waste of money. Go to WASH U or SLU because you will spend just as much money and receive a better education."

"Maryville University is a horrible college. The online class teachers are not accomodating whatsoever. You cannot view your test answers because the instructors are too lazy to make a new test each semester so you have no idea if they are grading fairly or not. Not to mention, that some of the instructors are pompous and arrogant. As a former student, I had the right to see my test scores so that i could learn from my mistakes. Not at this university, they will not allow you to see your test scores. Plus, this college is just as expensive as SLU and you are basically teaching yourself. I would not suggest this school to anyone. Spend your money elsewhere. It is a waste."

"After 4 years I began to realize the whole university is a bizarre academic dictatorship. Yes, the facilities are clean but the library is lame and the parking (and parking taliban) is atrocious. My biggest gripe would be the university's reliance on adjunct professors. They come and go, leaving a lot of emptiness and inconsistency in the program. Also, they present the school as this whitebread Christian campus but mostly the students are clueless suburban kids on a single track career."

Degree: Forensic Psychology

"I would recommend this University to anyone. The faculty and staff are great and make you feel at home the moment you step onto campus. The campus environment gives off the sense of family. Everyone is very supportive and teachers are always available to answer any questions you may have. You are given guidance throughout your academic journey and beyond. Overall it was a great University and I couldn't have asked for anything more from my undergraduate institution."

Degree: RN to BSN
Graduation Year: 2014
"I attended Maryville University's fast track nursing program. I went into the program with no healthcare experience and came out well prepared for my first nursing job on a medical stepdown floor. I was provided with varied clinical rotation opportunities. All of the instructors were very knowledgeable in their teaching subject. It is a rigorous program that prepares students for the nursing field."

Degree: MBA in Information Systems
Graduation Year: 2017
"This place is a joke. Most of my instructors, there are no professors at Maryville not a single one of my instructors actually has a PhD, relied on publisher PowerPoint's to teach. They did not even take out the time to create their own. I've had class, graduate classes. mind you taught by 26 year olds who just graduated with their masters. I've had classes where the midterm and the final were both movies that we had to take notes on. This is not an MBA! I've worked in group projects with students who didn't know how to do track changes in word or what Google Docs is IN GRADUATE CLASSES."

"I loved my college experience. Class sizes were small, the professors were knowledgeable yet approachable, and the classes really gave me a lot of insight into my degree. I was also able to interact with multiple administrative offices, all of whom were super helpful and friendly."
