Degree: Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician
Graduation Year: 2017

I was in the medical laboratary assistant program, and I attended the evening classes. About the program, I just want to say two points. One is that the instructor and the lab teacher were very patient with us, plus they are good at their jobs. So I did learn a lot from them. I just graduated recently and doing job hunting now, so it's hard to say if it's good for a new career before I find a job. The other one is that most of my classmates are from Philippines. As one of the minories, I felt isolated due to they talked in their own language most of the time. I hope I had more opportunities to learn from peers.

Degree: Medical Office Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

I enjoyed the program. The instructors are knowledgeable and passionate about what they teach. They provide you with the necessary tools for you to excel. The Business Affairs Department could make use of scheduling appointments with the students, as the lady who works in that department is always very busy. If you are thinking of applying, make sure you get as much information as you can regarding the unpaid placement at the end of the program. Also, I think the Career Services Department could make better use of their resume workshop. I sat through the same workshop 3 times during my 8 month course. They should plan and have one workshop for every full module cycle. The workshop was helpful, however I felt it pushed back our instructor's lectures. All in all, Medix was a great experience for me. I fell in love with my career, as well as made some lifelong friends.

Degree: Medical Office Administration
Graduation Year: 2016

Funny how every time there is a negative review posted about this school, there are suddenly multiple 5-stars to bury it? It's also amusing how all the names of the reviewers are so exotic sounding (read: fake)... How this school ever managed to become "accredited" is beyond me. Oh wait, they were bought by an accredited organization and accredited by proxy? Sounds about right. Go to a real school, this place won't help you one little bit. ***Watch how fast 4 or 5 positive reviews pop up now that I'm posting this........... ***

Degree: Medical Office Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

I started this program with no medical background and an average typing speed; however, the program was designed to give me a foundation in the medical field especially with the correct functioning of the body systems. For this I am very happy!!! The curriculum is very extensive and as such helps you to be well rounded. The Information Technology component is very interesting and I learnt so much and my typing speed was significantly increased. I am proud to be part of the Medix family and would recommend Medix to all.........Way to go Medix!!!

Degree: Medical Office Administration
Graduation Year: 2017

I really enjoyed my time at Medix College. The course was challenging but engaging. It prepared me for my future career as a medical office assistant by teaching me a variety of different subjects like anatomy, terminology, billing, even Microsoft office tools such as excel, word, outlook and powerpoint. The teacher knew the subject matter well and the people I attended class with have become my close friends.

Degree: Massage Therapy
Graduation Year: 2017

I have no words to express the disappointment of this program and the school! They act like you're in high school with out of place rules, they want to rush through lessons and they will not take the time to properly teach you, they expect you to learn in your own.

Degree: Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician
Graduation Year: 2017

When I joined the college I felt great and appreciative. The college gives me the chance to read, write, practice and communicate with my instructors and classmates. That makes feel positive and ready to apply what I learnt in my real life situation. Learning is a great process and communication and practices are great too. What makes knowledgeable is attending such valuable course. I would like to say that this school is very good and i recommend it for all my friends. I am thankful for all the perfect staff. I would like to mention this quote "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance". Thanks Medix for supporting me.
