But they got there money so they don't care I hope other are careful about what they choose I have applied for many jobs and no one will give me a chance because of that diploma. I'm sorry to be so negative but I am so hurt about all this. They should be ashamed !! I wrote the final and passed it just give me my d*** diploma so I can write the OSMT and actually get a job

Degree: Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician
Graduation Year: 2017

I was in the medical laboratary assistant program, and I attended the evening classes. About the program, I just want to say two points. One is that the instructor and the lab teacher were very patient with us, plus they are good at their jobs. So I did learn a lot from them. I just graduated recently and doing job hunting now, so it's hard to say if it's good for a new career before I find a job. The other one is that most of my classmates are from Philippines. As one of the minories, I felt isolated due to they talked in their own language most of the time. I hope I had more opportunities to learn from peers.

When I joined the college I felt great and appreciative. The college gives me the chance to read, write, practice and communicate with my instructors and classmates. That makes feel positive and ready to apply what I learnt in my real life situation. Learning is a great process and communication and practices are great too. What makes knowledgeable is attending such valuable course. I would like to say that this school is very good and i recommend it for all my friends. I am thankful for all the perfect staff. I would like to mention this quote "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance". Thanks Medix for supporting me.

Degree: Clinical/Medical Laboratory Technician

This was a face-paced learning environment that covers a very wide range of medical topics. Time is spent learning about medical conditions as well as time spent in a clinical laboratory setting to practice skills that will be a part of your future career. There is a lot of information presented in a short period of time that will prepare you for a career as a Medical Laboratory Technician. Good luck to all future students

I started with no medical background and went in to the MLAT program and I was terrified. My first week in I felt like I was over my head and I almost dropped out but I wanted to finish this program as I want to be able to help people with health issues but in a background capacity as I have a lot of family that have Health issues. I was scared I would not be able to do this program because I did not have any background in the medical field and how was I going to be able to do the work and follow the lectures and learn all the medical terminology. Well I was able to do all of that because of the way that the course was taught and structured. The professors that I had at the Toronto campus were able to hone in on each students level of medical knowledge and lack there of and teach the material so that everyone in the class can learn. If you did not understand something the professors would explain the procedure and the lectures so that you understood the why and how behind what you are going to be doing. I am glad to say that it was with the way the program was structured that I was able to finish and understand what was being taught and not worry about the what-if's. The career services center makes sure that you are prepared for interviews and I am happy to say that the whole campus staff and students in my class became a part of my family.

The instructors teach with passion. They impart their knowledge in the best ability that they can in order for the students to fully grasp the topic in a simple and understandable way. Their laboratory has equipment that is set-up like in an actual laboratory.
