"I definitely enjoyed this school! The community in this school is amazing. The students are so diverse, lots of students are from out of state or overseas. Making friends is pretty easy because of the small community. Communicating with the staff is convenient because you walk past them almost everyday, it's very practical to just walk up to them and ask questions, which can take so much effort in different schools. The school is very good in setting up the students for success. The career services prepare the students for their job interviews and internships. They also put a lot of effort in connecting the students to business professionals all around the bay area, which is very helpful in giving the students a head start in their career. The professors are very nice and helpful. Almost all my professors were willing to give extra time for the students in helping them understand the material better. I highly recommend this school if you prioritize making strong connections and job security."

"I liked Menlo because it taught me the basis of becoming an entrepreneur. The classes are small, so you have a good student to professor ratio. Most of my professors were very dedicated in the courses they taught. Every one is friendly. They challenge your thinking. We examined many companies, CEO's, and products, which was really cool to learn about."

"I truly loved every minute of my experience at Menlo College. Like many things, your experience at Menlo depends on how much you put into it but the opportunities available are endless. For example, I was not at all involved in high school, I was rather shy and focused on my studies, but at Menlo, I decided to change that. I ran for student government in my freshman year, stayed in the organization all four years and graduated as student body president-congratulating my class in the first student speech at graduation. There are few schools I know of that provide such opportunity and ease of access for campus engagement. Because of its location in the middle of Silicon Valley and a quick drive to downtown Palo Alto and San Francisco, the opportunities for internships and work experience was also endless. The business curriculum was focused on priming you for your career and the mandatory internship program insured that you had experience. By the time I graduated from Menlo, I had had 7 internships and the opportunity to work in many different fields. I learned what industries I was interested in and what industries I was not interested in at all- a valuable and much-underrated opportunity. As for the majors-the classes were small, the professors passionate and the learning plentiful. At Menlo, you are never just a number you are very much encouraged to be yourself and to ask for help."

"The years I spent as a communications student at Menlo College have proven to be the most important years of my life. I was immersed in an environment centered around diversity, creativity and critical thinking. Upon graduation I entered active military service and with the skills I developed during my time at Menlo College, I built a successful career as a military leader. The curriculum's emphasis on communication and presentation skills set me apart from my military peers, ensuring rapid advancement through the ranks and increased responsibilities above my pay grade. This culminated in the completion of three successful combat tours of duty and over 10 years of active military service in the United States Army. My affinity for academics developed during my time at Menlo has brought me to a place in my life I have only dreamed about. Shortly after retiring from the military, I have accepted admission to Whittier Law School and will begin my first year of legal studies in August of 2016. Surely, this would not have been possible without the education and experiences gained from my alma mater."
