"review possible mentors before deciding, the quality of your mentor will determine how your MFA goes, as this program relies heavily on that relationship."

"MCAD's filmmaking program is hard to review because, with technology, it changes year after year. The education is continually changing to be tailored towards the advances in film that happen every day. Throughout my 4 years I was educated in 16mm filmmaking, traditional "Hollywood style" that focused mainly on commercial production, and I even saw the transition back to teaching independent, freelance filmmaking as an art form more than a commercial career. MCAD's media department and instructors do an amazing job of keeping students up-to-date with the changes in the filmmaking industry, while keeping the spirit alive and teaching students everything they need to know to find their own path in filmmaking."

"The mentor mentee structure in the grad program is fantastic so long as you pick a mentor that is a good fit for your practice."
