"I think college is essential for getting a career in most industries. I think it is far too expensive but if you want a good job/career it must be done."
Would ONLY Recommend Coming If Going for Health Science Degree

"Overall the school has a very nice campus, but the acedemia is another story. I graduated with a degree in IT. 4 months after graduation and I can't find a job, my education didn't prepare me at all for real world industry. The professors really didn't do a good job at all in helping the students prepare for a career. I didn't complete one note worthy project for any IT class my time at Misericordia which really has hurt me in the job hunt as many potential employers find it concerning that I haven't worked on any big school projects. Which I reply with the faculty haven't assigned us any projects in any classes. The business department is better but really nothing to brag about. Overall I would only recommend coming to this University if you plan on going for one of their health science degrees such as PT, OT, or Speech Language Pathology."

"I was part of the first graduating class of MU's PA program in 2014. While the program had a few bumps along the way as new programs do, overall, I felt like I received an excellent education and went to really good clinical rotation sites. My professors during didactic year were knowledgeable and understanding while still pushing me to do my best. Class time was used well in addition to allowing outside class study time. The professors all have many years of PA experience which allow you as a student to see how you will be using your classroom education in the real world. All the professors still clinically practice as well. MU also has a cadaver lab with an excellent anatomy professor. My clinical preceptors pushed me hard and enhanced my clinical skills along the way. And, most importantly, I felt like I was sufficiently prepared to take the national certification exam (the PANCE) and pass, not unlike most of my class who has also taken the exam and passed."

"The pros of my specific graduate program (Doctorate of Physical Therapy) is that it is a first entry program, I was guaranteed a seat in the DPT class of 2016 since I was accepted as a freshmen in 2010. It is a great feeling to know that once you graduate, you do not have to reapply to get into graduate school or stress about not being able to get in anywhere. My program is also accredited and nationally ranked as an exceptional school for Physical Therapy. The class sizes are very small making it easy to form personal relationships with peers and teachers. I personally find the class size a pro but there may be some people that find it a con to have such a small class. A con of my graduate program, which I am sure goes for plenty others, is that it is extremely time consuming and the workload is very intense. To be successful in the program you have to be very dedicated to your studies, making it extremely difficult to participate in anything else such as extracurricular activities. It is also nearly impossible to maintain a job while studying full-time in my program, which is difficult for someone who relies on their own bank account during the school year."

"Misericordia is a great small quality University. The professors are very personalized and cater to your individual needs. I gained my B.S. degree there and I am now currently working on gaining my Doctorate in Physical Therapy."

"A positive aspect of this graduate program is that it aims to make sure that the students are 100% ready for the real word. A negative aspect is that it is extremely expensive."

"The pros to getting a graduate degree are being able to advance my career. The cons are the cost of the education."
