"It's a great school if you have the drive to do make it through yourself. Academic Advisors were not always readily available and I felt that I had to figure out a lot of things on my own. However, the friendships and connections that I made while attending this intuition are ones that last a lifetime. Although it is not necessarily cheap to attend, it is manageable."

"NDSU is a great school located in Fargo, North Dakota. From a smaller town perspective, there's lots to do and it's a rapidly growing area. The faculty and students are kind and welcoming. It's a conservative area, but the campus is more liberal and geared toward people of college-age. The professors are accommodating to life emergencies and the staff are very helpful. Great student services and career services. Most things are easy to understand and get around, and it's a great price especially for in-state or reciprocity students. If I wasn't moving away for family reasons, I would love to graduate from NDSU. Wonderful school, accomodating, and affordable."

"North Dakota State University is an excellent school to attended. They value their students and have knowledgeable professors who are willing to help students. There are many research opportunities as well as clubs and events to get involved with. The campus is friendly, safe, and diverse. People genuinely care how you are doing whether that be fellow student, grad student, or professors. The Biological Sciences department is forward thinking with a lot of research taking place. The professors are helpful and smart and the advisers set you up with opportunities to help you later when you're looking for a career."

"NDSU is where I did my undergraduate degree as well and when I was looking for graduate programs I looked no further than NDSU. The faculty is amazing, with structured classes guaranteed to make you think and learn. The students are motivated and friendly and will prove to keep you motivated throughout your education career. I have loved the years I spent on this campus. I recommend NDSU to everyone."

"The general courses were very basic, but as you began your specialized program the courses and professors develop intricate lesson plans that really are challenging. Many courses provided skills applicable to potential careers. There were many opportunities to become involved on campus. Overall, it was a great experience and a essential stepping stone to graduate school."

"Great and prideful school. A lot to difficult being anything but an engineering or science major, because they don't care much for those majors."

"If you get a worthless degree like communications, art, hospitality, philosophy, sociology, or the like, don't bother going to college. You'll never actually pay it off unless mommy and daddy are paying for you. When you fail out of college, it isn't the school's fault, it's yours. Remember those two things and you'll be solid. Oh, and remember to have fun while you're there"

"College is an incredible experience to learn, grow, and step out of your comfort zone. NDSU for me, offered an opportunity to join athletic groups, be a part of an amazing academic culture, and gave ample opportunities to try new and exciting adventures."

"Pros: The student to faculty ratio is low at about 1 faculty for every 15 students which is very helpful in a program like Architecture. The program is also very challenging and offers many opportunities to explore and further your own creativity independently. Cons: Some Professors may try to steamroll your projects and forget that they are they for guidance and learning and not to take over your own designs. It is a 5 year masters program that is accelerated. The workload is extremely tough and you will not have a lot of time for anything else. However, because of that, the program is more affordable and does not take as much time a traditional masters degree."

"Research groups here are small that allow you to be connected with your advisor on a daily basis. Although, Engineering courses are easy but physics courses are really hard. In general, professors here are more concerned about research and grants than teaching and that is not something good for education."

"The Department of Plant Sciences proved to be a remarkable place to work and study as a graduate student. The faculty genuinely care about each and every student, the facilities are well kept and up to date, and the programming is top notch. The faculty encourages students to take a wide range of courses to become more well rounded individuals and to prepare them for their careers. My graduate advisor was exceptional, she challenged me, encouraged me, and congratulated me as I completed my degree. I would recommend students to pursue their Master's degree at NDSU, because the entire program will prepare them to meet the demands of the future."

"Tell us about your college experience.I thought school is a place to prove you can learn and meet new people. The real learning is working a job.Would you get the same degree if you could start over?I think I would. Business is very important for everyone. What advice can you offer other students?Take it seriously but have fun and network"

"One of the pros of the architecture graduate program at NDSU is that you can get a masters degree in five years if you keep on track with the work and maintain a 3.0 GPA. The masters program is a year long but in that one year you apply everything that you have learned in your previous years of schooling. The faculty really makes sure that you are doing the best of your ability and they want you to succeed. One con may be that the course load may be a bit much because everything is condensed into 5 years."
