"OCC nursing program is a complete fraud. They want you to fail. Teachers no longer teach. Material is not presented. Your in a medical program that thinks you can just figure things out on your own. There is no leniency for anything. They will fail you over a point and you have no recourse. You can spend two years wasting your time to fail a class twice and be kicked out of the program. That’s money and time lost. They have an obsession with accusing students of cheating. Thus implementing software that is unreliable and causes addition anxiety during a timed exam. Exams are unorganized and written by one Professor when multiple professors are teaching the same class. So material on the test is inconsistent for one group vs another. They are trying to copy NGN style questions without any direction on how to prepare for them. One question can have multiple parts to it. They will give no partial points and no addition time for the question. That is not what NGN style questions are about. Do not go to this school! I cannot say it enough."

"One of the most corrupt learning institutions that I know of. Don't know of any other colleges that condone abuse of students by faculty. Was attending one of the Healthcare Associate Degree programs. Was verbally and sexually assaulted by one of my instructors. Did not know if I would use my degree after graduation. The faculty learned of this. They developed a plan to insure my failure or make it very difficult for me to continue. I think this school developed a sexual misconduct policy after the lengthy investigation that I had started"

"Currently unsure if I’m going to finish the program( not due to me doing poorly either). I’ve been nothing but disappointed in the disaster of a program they have going on. They are VERY unwilling to work with students at all. The admin and instructors are all very unorganized, lack basic communication skills, and are borderline abusive. I was in the army so I have a good grasp of tough love versus abuse and hatred of students. They treat us all like toddlers. I had an issue where I was told my paperwork was received, but months later I talked to a different administrator and he argued with me that I didn’t turn the paperwork in and would have to take fall classes despite me being told I had to email them when I was ready to come back. There was also an issue with an instructor failing students of a certain skin color and passing only the ones with her skin color. Higher up’s were notified but somehow that woman still has a job. They recently had a drop out rate of 25%. Instead of looking into why, they just implemented an online study program for an extra $1000 a year. DO NOT GO HERE. Spend your money on a school that is actually willing to teach you."

"It seems like they want you to fail. They will fail you if you tell anyone how to study. Can't say study power points or you need to read book. Do not join facebook occ nursing groups. Professors are in the groups and looking to find something to go to the dean about. Limited number of points have to have 80% of points of test to pass. Current class I'm taking only has 150 test points. Need 80% of those to pass."

"I completed the MHSW program in 2013 and am currently, 2019, enrolled in a MSW program. The material that we learn and practice in the MHSW program sets us up and prepares us for our Bachelor and Masters level SW degrees. I have learned the same material that I learned in MHSW program at OCC that I am learning currently in a MSW program. Not only does this program prepare you for the future, the faculty truly cares about you and wants to see you succeed. By far the best program I have had the opportunity to be a part of so far."

"So this school has like 4 campuses that are fairly close to each other (30 minutes driving time between almost all of them) I'm going to talk about the highland campus. After starting at a for-profit school a year ago (art institute wrote a review if you're wondering) I tried enrolling at the highland campus. ALL STAFF IS EXTREMELY UNHELPFUL AND VERY VERY RUDE. I was appalled at how they treated me ( they being all financial aid, counseling, book/class fees workers) I will be attending a different campus starting in the winter semester. I do like OCC but this one campus has absolutely horrid office workers."
