"My time at Ohio University has been great. It really feels to have gone by quicker than it should. There is always something to do and a lot to get involved in (over 550 student organizations). The professors, TA's, and advisors/staff of the College of Arts and Sciences, and everyone across the University is rooting for your success. The school does the best they can and when students bring something constructive to the table, it's typical they will do their best at accommodating. I would recommend this school to anyone, especially those who plan on concentrating in something within the College of Arts and Sciences, Patton College of Education, Health Sciences and Professions, or Russ College of Engineering. Give OU a check and I'm sure you won't be disappointed."

"Ohio University prepared me to become the successful graduate student I am today. They have countless outreach programs for students needing assistance with career development, tutoring, or mental health resources. Getting involved in extracurricular activities is a great way to meet new people with common interests. The professors are extremely knowledgeable and are always available outside of class during office hours. While applying to graduate programs for speech-language pathology, I felt comfortable reaching out to faculty for advice or suggestions. They helped me every step of the way during the stressful process, and once in my graduate program, I feel that OU set me up with a solid foundation to allow me to excel as a young professional."

"I was hesitant about studying online and that too, the engineering subjects at Masters level. I decided to take one course and depending on how it goes, i further will decide. But to my surprise, the way university and professors take effort in teaching subjects, very thorough and i am completing my Master's in 2019. I will recommend everyone, especially people willing to do Master's while working."

"Best college ever!!! You will never be disappointed with your decision to go to Ohio University. I am so happy that I chose this school and have missed it ever since I graduated this year. I majored in psychology where I had the best professors I could have ever asked for. Go to Ohio University and you will have the best 4 years of your life!"

"I enjoyed my time at Ohio University. There are a lot of resources available to help in your education if you seek them. The campus is beautiful with many great places to study. As with any college, distractions are also easy to come by. If you stay focused on the literature you are provided and establish a relationship with your professors the distractions fade into the background."

"Ohio University in my opinion is the best school. From the culture, to the academics, to the family you create, it was the best decision for me. I learned from some of the best professionals, and was challenged in many ways that led to great personal growth. Ohio University was about unity, and I got more involved than I ever did in high school. This was where I learned more about advocacy for others, the anti-trafficking movement, and about community. I would say before I went to Ohio University I was unaware of issues around the world and was uneducated in many realms, but through my professors I gained a knowledge about the individual, needs of others that are different than me, and about others who may not have a voice. I learned how to help others in a clinical setting and in the right ways that will benefit the individual. I was opened to diversity, which was probably the most important thing. I gained a more academic knowledge of how to conduct research and discuss it. I learned more about volunteering and giving up your time for another person. I also had many different communities at Ohio University, each of which taught me something about others and myself. If I did not go to Ohio University, I would not be the person I am today."

"I highly recommend Ohio University's special education program to anyone looking to pursue a career as an intervention specialist. From my first day of classes, my professors were dedicated, passionate and inspiring. I began classroom placements my sophomore year, much earlier than other universities. By the time I graduated, I had observed and taught lessons in 5 different schools, ranging from inner-city urban to rural populations. I had the opportunity to participate in a year-long student teaching program, as opposed to the typical 1 semester, where I truly experienced what a teacher's school year is like from open house to the last day of school. My field-experience professors came to observe me teach and provided incredible guidance to help me grow as an educator. I built relationships with both my professors and collaborating teachers while student teaching that I have maintained three years later! I received a job offer for a highly-rated school in Columbus, Ohio in March of my senior year. Upon graduating, I felt confident in my education and extremely prepared to begin teaching. I could not recommend Ohio University's special education program more!"

"I took advantage of OU's Distance Learning Program and found the professors rigorous and yet patient, challenging and encouraging. The college adviser was with me every step of the way, ensuring my assignments were graded and returned and that my registrations and other correspondence reached its destination."

"Ohio University got me started on the right path! I really enjoyed the campus. I grew up in a small town, but adjusting to the somewhat larger Athens was easy. There is plenty of nature at almost every point of not just the campus, but also the town itself. Downtown and the campus are very walk-able. I experienced living both on and off campus and enjoyed both. If you live off campus, you should invest in a car for the most convenience. It may not be the best campus for people with disabilities because of the terrain of the city, but I knew several other students who were able to take advantage of campus transportation and modifications that have been made to the campus since I graduated have helped solve some of the problems others were having."

"Ohio University is a truly wonderful institution of higher learning. The professors I had in my time at OU challenged me as well as interested me in their respective subjects, the course offerings were abundant, and the learning atmosphere was second to none. The campus life is one of support, encouragement, and cooperation. The town, the school, and the people together made for an unforgettable four years. OU pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me innumerable experiences which helped form me into the person that I am today. I feel both supported and prepared as an alumni to continue my education in law school next year. I cannot stress enough how glad I am that I chose Ohio University, and I recommend this school to anyone looking to learn, grow, and succeed."

"I will be graduating from Ohio University at the end of April and I'm glad I choose to complete my undergraduate career at this University. I came from a large city out-of-state and I have to say that my experience at Ohio University was wonderful. It felt like a home away from home and the atmosphere is calming and friendly. Most professors here are helpful, knowledgeable, and want to see you succeed. I feel like I am leaving my undergraduate career prepared for what will come during my graduate career and professional future."

"I really enjoyed my time at Ohio University. Now, I am headed towards a graduate program at the University of Michigan in Public Health. I am very excited about entering a growing field at such an important time. I would use this award to be able to attend the University of Michigan this fall."

My classes prepared me for the rigor of medical school basic science courses. The advising services for students interested in professional schools was superb. I knew exactly what I needed to accomplish in order to gain acceptance to a professional/graduate program. Also, Ohio University is beautiful, so I loved spending time on campus."

"Ohio University was a fantastic place for learning. I felt as if each professor, no matter the class, truly cared about my needs as a student. Help was always available. Doors were always open. Optimal learning was always taking place. My field placements were informational and they taught me an incredible amount. I would recommend this school to anyone!"

"Ohio University offered me an excellent undergraduate education as well as a very high quality college experience. I felt highly prepared for my student teaching experiences and had a job offer before graduation! Especially in the world of music education, that is a feat in and of itself, and I would not have been able to secure that position without my exceptionally well-rounded education. The general education classes rounded out my knowledge and helped me become a deeper thinking student and human being. Diversity is obvious and celebrated at Ohio University, and students from all over the world are proud to be Bobcats! Professional networking and interviewing opportunities occurred year-round so we could get our feet in as many doors as possible. The culture, the education, and the real-world prep that Ohio University provides create an atmosphere like no other, and although no school is perfect, OU is one of the most high quality institutions I could ever imagine being a part of."

"I loved my time at Ohio University. Not only is the campus a slice of heaven, but the atmosphere is perfect. The locals are friendly, they help you if you ask and can become incredible friends. The education I received on campus was outstanding. I learned so much from my teachers, it was obvious to see they cared. They would offer help and encourage their students to come to office hours. Leaving Ohio U was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I made some lifelong friends and learned not only learned a lot in regards to school, but even more so in regards to who I am and about the world."

"Athens, Ohio is a wonderful place to live and go to school. You can have a totally unique experience depending on what you want to do and how you want to go about it. Yes, it's a party school and that can be annoying if you're not into that, but it's not hard to avoid that and there are lots of other things to do. It's a great place to focus on your academics, explore nature, eat great local food, and get involved in the community. I really enjoyed my classes and a few professors in the psychology department especially."
