"Penn State Harrisburg is a very diverse campus that give their students many chances to grow and thrive. They allow and encourage the differences within their students. They strive to teach their students critical thinking skills so they can be better individuals within the community. My experience with this campus is not one that I can ever forget. I am very grateful to have been part of this college."

"The professors worked with the students. They understood that most were also working part time or full time jobs and many had families. You could take courses as you wanted and that was important to me. The campus is beautiful and the facilities are always improving."

"Penn State Harrisburg offers the big campus feel with a smaller campus class size so that your classes are small with many opportunities. You can continue your athletic endeavors with division three sports and lots of campus activities to get involved in. The dorms are some of the best in the country!"

"Penn State Harrisburg was a smaller, local alternative to PSU Main Campus. I preferred the smaller classes, smaller campus, and close location so I could live at home and save money while attending school."

"Penn State Harrisburg's American Studies Ph.D. emphasizes interdisciplinary knowledge, and its placement rate is one of the best among humanities programs. The faculty is knowledgeable and encourages intellectual growth as well as professional development, and the scholarship to which students are exposed is usually top-rate. While the workload for a GA/TA can be heavy at times, and the surrounding area is not particularly energizing, the on-campus atmosphere and culture of scholarship is very invigorating."

"PSUCOM is an amazing school that foster a supportive educational system, with phenomenal faculty. The one caveat that could also be a benefit for many is that the school is in a rural setting. The one con for the school is lack of public transportation. But overall highly recommended."

"Not enough strictly speaking creative writing professors (I had the same teacher four semesters in a row), but since it is a small, commuter campus, I totally understand. Other than that I had a fantastic experience at this school."

"Penn State Harrisburg is a small school that has a lot to offer for its size. Professors are comparable to other schools, so instructional quality is good. Dining options and sporting events are limited, but social options and professional networking is probably better, per capita."

"I am a rising first year graduate student, and so I feel that some of my oppinions about the school may change. The campus is beautiful, and the faculty are very kind and supportive in the acceptance and enrollment process. This is not the main campus, and that comes with both positive and negative aspects. I like that the campus is small, but it still has some great things on the campus. For example, it has a starbucks, a great recreation center, and an ok library. The school is expensive; however, apply for everything and do so early (In-State tuition is actually reasonable). It's a beautiful school with awesome faculty and research. Those are the things that really count :)"

"The clinical psychology program at Penn State Harrisburg offers students with the general knowledge and experience needed to succeed as a master's-level clinician. However, it doesn't challenge students in the way I anticipated and it doesn't specialize in any given area. The program lacks CCREP accreditation, which is something I wish was advertised or that I knew about in my program search. The coursework is light, which leaves time for full or part-time employment. Faculty is student-centered and will happily collaborate with students on research projects and information for practicum/internship sites. The campus is small and quiet for the most part; however, I frequently get threat notifications. I like that they keep students informed of the limited violence on campus though. The only financial aid experience I have had is with graduate work study and I was very easily offered a position, so I am satisfied with that aspect. The library offers countless information for research and class projects. Overall, I am generally satisfied with the program and I would recommend it to anyone interested in a program with a general approach."

"This graduate program is affordable and also provides an amazing quality Master of Public Administration program. A con is that I find it hard to contact faculty, and it's hard to get a timely response back regarding course information."
