"University that diacriminates with Latinos. They are good to charge but at the time of the thesis they are even able to accuse them of plagiarism and dismiss them from the university and erase their academic records but not the debts and they are able to call to collect. Poor education and professors."

"With any doubt, I would recommend The University of Puerto Rico at Mayagez. It is located in a city where almost everything revolves around students and for the students. It offers a very relaxed lifestyle while attending one of the most rigorous universities of the island. I did my major on Biology, and loved it, therefore my experience revolves around the Biology department. The Biology department offers different research areas, from botanic to ecology, and genetics. People tend to be very welcoming and helpful. Although I spent most of my time in the Biology department I decided to do research on Chemistry in 2016. To my surprise, the chemistry faculty was extremely welcoming and even added microorganisms to my research topic since I was a Biology student. University of Puerto Rico at Mayagez is a perfect fit for students that want to explore different areas of study, meet exciting people and explore a new culture, all while being challenged academically. It is a great place to study and the study breaks are the best, since beautiful beaches are only 15 minutes away."

"Excellent college and great artistic programs. The university is very diverse and social oriented. Professors are well educated. It is one of the highest score college in the United States. The only recommendation will be to get a better career program for graduate students, i don't think they have something like that."

"I graduated from the University of Puerto Rico in 2013. Albeit I had to face many challenged, the professors and staff provided me with the required assistance to complete my academic goal. Further, tuition fees were very accessible, if compared with US mainland fees."
