"Pomona College offers an excellent Art program! You will be amazed by the faculties' enthusiasm and commitment to their students. You will also have a state of the art studio experience. Not only that, but you will receive the knowledge that comes with learning Art History while you work on your skills as an artist. This is a good decision. Cheers!"

"I attended Pomona College in Southern California for my BA. While I was there, I really appreciated the academic freedom and support that was given to me. I began college as a Physics major, and although my department didn't have an equal gender balance, I never felt intimidated or pushed aside. Professors, both in the Physics department and the Psychology department (which I transferred to later), made themselves readily available and open to the myriad of questions I had. I never felt lost, because no matter where I was in my college experience, I knew I could easily ask a Professor or advisor for help. I graduated with a major in Psychology this Spring, and I still love the whole department. In the Psychology department, you have the ability to choose how involved you want to be; even though I tended to stay on the sidelines, I never questioned how accepted and taken care of I was by my professors and peers."

"Pomona has a very supportive environment. The professors are selected on their ability to teach so the teaching quality is better than that of large universities. The student body is very close knit. With only about 400 students per year and everyone living on campus you really get to know your classmates."

"Because I attended Pomona College, I am prepared for graduate school more than I ever though I could be. I didn't realize my degree probably prepared me more for continuing my education than starting my career right after college, but I am fulfilled."

"Pomona College allowed me to expand my horizons and provided me numerous opportunities to pursue my interests. A smaller school gave me a better sense of community and gave me more individual attention than I would have at a bigger school. While not without its faults, I highly recommend smaller liberal arts colleges for those that desire building strong relationships with professors and others on campus."

"Although it is not directly related to my career, my psychology degree helped me in life by teaching me how we think and interact with others. This has had a positive impact on my relationships with others in the workplace as well as my personal relationships, and it made me more in tune with myself. My psychology degree also involved statistics and working with data, which helped my analytical skills and enabled me to obtain jobs in media research. I would highly recommend a psychology degree to someone unsure of what career path they want to take, as it provides life skills and knowledge that can be applied to a variety of careers. The psychology degree at Pomona was great because it gives students exposure to a wide range of psychology subjects while also letting them focus more heavily on specific topics of interest."
