"Very unprofessional school terrible communication they will overcharge you and not answer your phone calls. Went there for one year left early and was charged for 2 years. Joke of a school will not recommend one school I would recommend is assumption university if you want clear communication."

"I have a year and a half left before graduating. I think, my date has changed a couple of times already. The staff at Post University is great when it comes to the academic advisors and instructors. Financial Aid is a different story. They are rude and do not help you. When your financial aid runs out, they don't tell you anything until it's too late. They then expect you to pay out of pocket but loads of money or not register you for classes. I loved this school up until this point. Classes are a little high for the education you receive. Look around before just settling for a college with online courses. You can receive a great education without broken pockets each month. Communication is key to many things in life and Post University's department of Financial Aid has not comprehended how this works. Nor do they have the compassion when you can not just pay large amounts of money right when they want it. Hope this helps someone in the future."

"I began attending Post because it offered the flexibility of doing it all online. I have a full time job and three kids and my job is careerless.... I have been taking the classes for a few years and find some classes are very difficult but doable. I would prefer not having to write so many essays but I guess that's how online classes are. My only issue with the school currently is that there is way too much reading involved for the classes and they want you to do it all before Wednesday, which is the day we have to post our discussions. It seems like many of the classes are teaching the same thing at times. I honestly wish I didn't start because you don't have the freedom skip a class. You only have one week off in the summer and three during the holiday break. It can be exhausting. I plan on finishing before Christmas 2018 but sometimes I want to quit all together."

"After haphazardly running across this page, I felt compelled to write a comment. I was enrolled in another college pursuing a Multidisciplinary Studies degree. Yea, right, what is that. I had earned 100 credits and all I needed was 20 more credits to graduate but I was not satisfied with the degree. A friend of mine recommended Post University. I started Post University online in 2008 while serving in the military. I chose business administration with a marketing concentration. I lost 40 credits after the transfer but in the end I was happy with my decision. First I want to address a few questions asked in the survey: How would you rate your experience with your school? I would rate it excellent but I have to tell you that I struggled at first. Being in the military as a Recruiting First Sergeant, I was extremely busy, traveling almost daily. The first year I didn't devote enough time to learn the system and I almost quit. Thank god I didn't. How would you rate the quality of instruction at your school? the instructions to me was clear and when I had a problem I communicated with my instructor. Every instructor I had was "top Notch". I encourage every student if they are not sure reach out to the instructor sooner rather than later. How would you rate your satisfaction with your degree program? I am so happy with my degree program. I learned so much. Once I got to the graduate level, every class really challenged me. I am retired now and I am a professional business plan writer and I used what I learned everyday. How would you rate your school's student financial services? I didn't really use the financial services that much because I had the GI Bill. I did mess up once and did't register in both the Army's system and Post online. I was charged for 2 classes but the financial advisor straighten it out in a timely manner. Finally I want to say to all the students that are giving this school a bad rating, I also would have given it a poor rating the first years and maybe the second. Once you learn the system "Dashboard, Whiteboard etc..", it will be much easier. Learn to use the library also, It will be a great help. They also have a great resume writing tool to help with your resume and someone to look it over and help out. Most of all, learn to communicate with the instructor. I hope this helps someone."

"Horrible school. Academics are a joke. Amateurs run the school. Cant answer questions, never answer phone calls and advisers have no idea what they are doing. If you try to complain forget it, it just falls on deaf ears. Sports are an even bigger joke. New Football coach has been coaching for all of 2 years at ant level. You would get a more experienced coach in POP Warner. Assistant coaches are even worse. Expensive If you live there and the place has nothing to do and ;looks like a medical building. NO college atmosphere at all. Stay away at all cost."

"My experience at Post University was a positive one. My program advisor was courteous and extremely helpful. I did not experience any administrative issues. Like any school, you have great teachers and a few mediocre. I found the business degree program to be comprehensive and well structured. If you are interested in a short-cut education, Post is not the college to attend. They are strict about writing format compliance, citation rules, and use proper grammar. Again, some professors are stricter than others, but I found most of them to be fair. If anything, I think the University should be stricter on student admission. Some students did not belong in the program as they often procrastinated and presented sloppy work. If you are willing to put in the work and are willing to learn, Post University is a very good option."

I found my instructors to be knowledgeable and helpful when I ran into issues with the course work. I would recommend Post University to any working professional looking to continue their education."

"Great School! I had no issues with the Finance Department, I had an excellent academic advisor and the Teachers were fair. I would recommend this school and have to many of my coworkers. Their were two instructors that I didn't totally get along with and received the grades that I didn't want, but I bounced back. And by no means did it discourage me from the pursuit of obtaining a degree."

"As a part time student who also is active duty military, I found Post University to be a challenge. I was moved to write a review after seeing all the negative non-sense about financial aid, class hours, and professor quality. I found myself spending at least 9-12 hours per week in each class. Financial aid/advising was spot on, but at times required me to follow up on things (that's how the real world works). Professors were great, going into an online learning environment I expected to do a lot of self-education and that is exactly what I got. Overall, I believe that for an online education it was amazing. I was challenged all the way through, retained alot of the very relative lessons and material, and feel that I received a quality education. Online education takes sacrafice, discipline, and dedication. I began my college education in a physical classroom and ended in a digital one. Going to a physical class was easier! One must understand that you cannot expect the same learning environment on an online platform. Your professors aren't following up with you weekly, you typically are not physically interacting with your student body, and you have to practice disciplined time management as you set your own study hours."

"Overall I enjoyed my experience at Post University. I graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration. My academic advisor was quite helpful throughout my time at Post. On numerous occasions he would stop what he was doing to assist me in any issues that I had. The classes were in deed challenging, but not to the extent of spending every moments of your free time working on your studies. Over my tenure at Post, I would take one class every eight weeks. Never did I have any difficulty getting responses back from the professors or find the professors incompetent. The majority of my professors seemed to care for their students and teach as best as they could through their computers. I would like to agree with some other reviewers. The financial departments seems like it’s a complete disaster. I would find myself submitting multiple documents to the department only to receive a call from them saying that I had to submit the documents again. This department is the single point of failure within this University. Minus the financial department, I enjoyed my time. I would recommend this University to others. As some of my fellow peers stated, by no means is this University an Ivy League school! In the end you decide what you can handle. If you desire a higher level of education go elsewhere, but if you are looking for a decent online program Post University may be a fit for you."

"I am not sure about what everyone is writing about. I've been at Post for nearly three years and have never really had a problem. I'm no going to say that Post is a very prestigious school, it is what it is. However, I most certainly never experienced any of the issues mentioned in other reviews. If you read your financial aid packet, you'll understand how your education is being paid for. It's quite clear. Also, I never had any issues with my counselor or professors. My counselors have been very nice and my professors have all been very helpful and have been relativity easy on grading. I have a 3.98 GPA and I'm close to graduating. So far, good experiences."

"I attended Post Universyt Online. I really enjoyed the "professors" and my classmates were great but the administration and counselors are a joke ! It would take all day to talk about Post. I was charged for everything. Everything ! And was only given a nickel in federal aid and loans that I have to repay. Not too mention having to wait two months till you get your aid, I was given all sorts of excuses for the questions I had for the financial aid department . Monkeys are better suited than these so called educators and advisers and administration there. I often times dealt with rude, inconsiderate people who would email me days later about the problems I wanted to address. No one would take my calls and I was given different people to talk to each time. Like I said it would take all day to tell you the things I was put through as well as some of my classmates too ! Most of us decided to leave, transfer...and we got the hell away from that money pumping diploma mill. Understand this is a true statement, I attended this so call school in 2014, please do not waste your time or money you will be disappointed, hurt, broke and just a number !"

"I don't really have problems with the online education that I am receiving at Post however, I am disappointed with the way that they do business. Post will enroll you without your transcripts, without your financial aid in place, without fully disclosing the cost of tuition for your specific degree and without telling you that you're officially enrolled. My advice for prospective students would be to do all of your own research on their website before even contacting them for more information. An online degree from Post will cost you upwards of $75,000. You need 120 credits to graduate at $570 per credit hour, which is more than a degree at Harvard or Yale. They don't tell you this up front and they're probably hoping that you never find out. Once your admissions counselor registers you for a class, you're screwed unless you drop the class before it begins. One it starts, you're on the hook for the tuition for that class. To the tune of $1,710 and financial aid won't cover that class until you take more classes and rack up more debt. You're going to owe Post University $3500 before you can get away from them. Is it worth it? Maybe if you have the money, but for me, I can't wait to get out of this program. It's sad because I do enjoy the classes and the instructors, but the cost of tuition is absolutely ridiculous."
