"It's simply just so disorganized. I've seen more organization at my son's first tee ball game. The advisors for financial aid will tell you what they think you want to hear rather than factual information. The academic advisors...it took me going to the dean to get anywhere. After speaking with the dean and him knowing my intentions he suggested another degree and different courses. This never took place till I made threats of a civil suit and calling Better Business. The courses are simply reading a ton and then writing a paper. The discussion boards are where you submit this work and you then tell each other good job. When asking for clarification from professors on asssignments they copy and paste the original assignment. Mind you this was in five seperate courses, not one. There is nothing but hurdle after hurdle and if you are looking to go online make sure to review more about the experience. The physical college itself has great reviews on several sites. The online are very different. check into the graduation rate and transfer rates of this college online. I am finishing my this term and transferring myself after this experience and giving them more than one opportunity to make a difference. They are very helpful and call frequently while getting you enrolled and your financial aid set up....once they received the money it just stopped. It's sad especially after speaking with fellow students that are dealing with the same issue."

"I learned so much at Post that has helped with my graduate degree. I have an A+ in counseling theories and know more about the theorist we study then my peers who went to higher-ranked schools. Post University was hard, it was a lot of papers, but I learned so much. Things I will use in my practice and pass the NCE."

"I have had issues with the financial aid department of this school since I started. I have been reading the reviews and everybody had the same problem as me. Financial aid advisors tell you that you are covered and will NOT have out of pocket costs but it is a lie.My academic counselor used to register me for my classes because I asked him to and I asked him specifically once if I was good to go on financial aid with being registered for 2 classes and he said absolutely. Guess what? I wasn't and ended up having to pay over 800 dollars out of pocket. And just recently I tried contacting my financial aid advisor about my aid for the next few mods because I had a text that info was missing and me and my academic counselor did not receive replies to our emails or my voicemails for 2 weeks, then I finally got my reply that I had to accept my award letter which should had been sent to me way before that and prolly wouldn't have been if I had not contacted HIM. I also fear that I may be screwed again by the financial aid department because with what I found courses cost (1700 per course?! REALLY?!?!) my aid will not cover what my advisor claimed it would, but I will not receive a response for a week because of course they are out of the office. This school is way overpriced. I wish I had researched better and wish I could transfer now, but since I still owe some out of ;pocket for THEIR screwup..im STUCK."

"After reading the reviews I decided to write my own. To those who are praising national accreditation, you need to do some reading. Regional accreditation is higher ranked than national and accepted easier thab national credits. The business school has BOTH rankings because of the MBA program they run. I had NO ISSUE with finding a graduate program in my field after graduating from Post Univeristy. I even changed Master's programs when I found a different Univeristy was having me do the exact same classes from my B.A. in their master's program. If the classes were so bad then why was my undergrad curriculum equal to another school's Graduate program!? I liked having class materials beyond a boring text book, if I have to memorize a textbook in 8 weeks to get a degree, that isn't worth a dime, I'd rather have a book and supplement materials! Financial aid is not always at fault because I had a different tuition planner each module and they have more than 20 student bills to take care of each, their department is very under staffed. If you have never worked in higher education then you need to give them more credit than I have seen here. I had an amazing advisor, my final tuition planner had actually caught a mistake that saved me 5k in private loans that the prior tuition planner had made. If you want cheap or free college you won't find it at ANY private college. I got what I paid for, the only thing I would have changed is having Navient (the real scam) as my loan servicer. Post Univeristy was the best decision that I made for my education, but then again I wanted to earn my degree, not just be handed one."

"I am very unhappy with Post University, with 6 credits left before Graduation, and looking int Masters programs at other . universities, I found out that Post is only Nationally Accredited for the business school, all other degree programs are regional, meaning no Masters programs will accept the B.A degree of psychology, and almost all careers only accept a Bachelor from NATIONALLY accredited schools, now 6 credits away, and over the lifetime maximum for financial aid, The last 3 and a half years are a total waste, no degree and no way to transfer, or with a degree, no masters programs outside if the East Coast area. THE FINANCIAL AID department sucks, the academic advising is a joke, and none communicate with you until you approach them with a problem, then its too late to be fixed,...DO NOT ATTEND POST unless you want to waste time and money on a degree you cant use."

"Post is for military personal and ppl obtaining simple degrees I've noticed. Staff is unorganized and financial department is rude and untrustworthy My mistake for joining post even though I was enrolled when I SAID wait...to each it's own. As for me I'm taking this all the way I have a lawyer and will be reporting post to BBB and the news. They are stealing your money. Classes I'm paying for I'm already certified in..most of my assignments are YouTube bound really? YouTube and you're paying for this. I can never get in contact with anyone and to top it off they enrolled me w/o my financial aid then a woman called me a month into school saying" it's collections" lol Oh she played herself. When I brought it up with the advisors they didn't know what I was talking about. I can go on all day, but instead I'll go my own way. I have the opportunity to be successful w/o a degree and also had the opportunity for college to be paid for me and now look. I have excellent credit and Post will not ruin what I've worked hard for. They don't care about you, just the green. I had good teachers and actually am a great student. I had one or two overall sarcastic teachers, but I don't have time to bicker through technology. Post is a scam. You look into it and you'll see. Classes are useless. I've gotten charged for materials I've never used. I was also told that Post doesn't give you laptops bc you get the choice to purchase your own so it won't come out your financial aid LIES POST stole from me and the government and they'll figure out who they had in their class. No worries, some are happy here; if I was almost done I would stick it out, but it's been five months of back and forth b.s. I wanted to drop classes and was told it was too late LIES I'll be going to a school in my community. I need to be able to walk in and see what's happening. Over the phone ppl do as they please and when you get upset, they hang up. Post is no good! You're only saving $10 for class if you don't do the course by credits...look at that...$90 for books I never read $50 for outlook which I already have. That's my professional account. You guys do your research, dig deeper into it, ask the right questions and go with your gut. My gut told me to wait, Post staff enrolled me anyway for that quota baby. Good luck in your careers"

"I loved this college. I went here for 3 years online. I had transferred a lot of credits from another college and it was a breeze. My financial aid person was very friendly and helpful, as well as my academic advisor. They always got back to me within a reasonable time, usually the same day. Most of the instructors for the courses were engaged with the class discussions. Most also got back to you within 24 hours about emails that you had sent. There were one or two instructors that could have improved in their teaching, but I don't think any school is perfect. I will say that any student needs to be dedicated in order to be an online student, as I had due dates for assignments, just like a college campus that a student would attend. To clarify, I only gave one star for the career services because I only remember websites that I could have visited for help in a career, so I think that this area could be improved. I have not gotten a job in my field yet, but I need my Master's, which I am pursuing in the fall at another online college. If I could, I would attend Post for my Master's, but the program I want is not at Post yet."

"THIS SCHOOL STAFF IS HORRIBLE! I've worked for the Financial Aid office @ Western Connecticut State University and I now work in a Financial Aid office for a technical school. I have never dealt with anyone as rude as the N. person in the Financial Aid Office. First of all without telling me that my counselor was switched they changed it. When I finally talked to her she was so nasty and rude to me! I've explained to her countless times that I only wanted to take out the Pell Grant and pay the rest of my bill in cash but she NEVER did it and then after waiting for MONTHS and MONTHS to actually do what I requested she then tells me that I can no longer get it due to the timing. It sucks because with my transfer credits I was so close to graduating and reaching a goal but she RUINED it for me. I've written the Dean, my advisor and nothing! I WOULD NEVER recommend POST TO ANYONE! Unless you want to be spoken to rudely, mistreated, taken for granted and treated like nothing."

"You are so correct about the disorganization of Post University and oh boy are you correct about their unprofessional academic advisors. I had a pretty scary health issue and had to have surgery in the middle of the mod and because of complications I got sick and wasn't able to fully participate in my courses. These complications occurred during my attempt to complete my first 12 credit hours. After exhaustingly trying to contact and connect with my very rude instructors I was failed. I then received an email that I was being warned that I could be dismissed but when I called my idiotic academic advisor/counselor he said that I was already dismissed. After viewing the attached documents in the email about the warning I noticed that it said Post University is required to notify students of warnings and dismissals by means of email AND certified mail first. I never got any certified letter from Post stating I was being warned or dismissed. I would know if I had received a certified letter being as though that I would have had to sign for a letter of the sort. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS POOR EXCUSE OF A COLLEGE! Once they get you to apply and register and get their money then they show their true colors about how little they care about their students. Also I hate to say it but in my opinion not only the staff but the professors seem racially biased as well. One of the biggest mistakes I could have made was attending this piss-poor school when I had much more obviously better options out there."

"School sucks literally I graudated high school 7 years ago and P.U. still need high school transcripts to process financial aid bull crap in the midst of arguing with my advisor I told her I was leaving because my transcripts hadn't come and I can't afford classes she then said the moment you logged in your responsible can you say scam yea I am sure bbb would hear about this"

"Maybe things are different on campus, but online the site is built terribly. You'll be spending hours trying to get it work instead of working. There's very little actually help when it comes to teachers, financial, or technically. The online program just seems way behind and is not worth paying money for."
