"Prisms medical Assisting program was thorough, Ms R and Ms S are great teachers, and the boot camps help prepare everyone willing to do the work for the test. The only real improvement would be if it was a little more hands on with a little less book work."

"The instructors did a good job of preparing me for my career as a medical assistant, and helped out a lot. Overall I'm glad that I finished, I even got a job at my externship site which was awesome. And after I was finished the school checked back up with me to make sure that I was okay with my job and satisfied. Which meant a lot to me."

"I graduated Prism back in 2014. For starters at the time for me the school was full of drama students arguing with students/teachers, and vice versa. It was hard to stay focused in that environment when someone was always disrupting the class. Fast forward to extern day well the better sites were given to the students whom the teachers showed favoritism. Even after complaining about my site they student services said they didn't have an available site, and if I took a new one I would have to start my weeks over. Smh. I completed my extern in an office that only had me pull and file charts for 4wks, nothing else. Now I'm back at student services to get help finding work which was a disaster. They were doing the same thing I was doing by putting my resume on job sites like indeed, monster, and career builder. I was unable to obtain employment so I went back to work as a certified nursing assistant. In 2016 I had made an inquiry for job recommendations, and I was told that the school changed the certification status from the NRC to NCCT. Like wtf to that. So you mean to tell me that I basically wasted 10 months of my time, fried my brain to pass these certification exams, and still have no career because the certifications I hold are not accepted by majority of the companies. Well now I know why the school changed back over to NCCT. It's a shame because I know I'm not the only one having these issues. It is now 2017 and I have still been extremely engaged in my employment search, and yet I am still unsuccessful. I get emails and phone calls from what i think is potential employment, but they only responded to say I don't hold the proper licensure. I am beyond frustrated and pissed off because I worked really hard graduated and past all my exams. Unfortunately I am still a Certified Nursing Assistant who is still about 17 grand in debt to Prism Career for a program in Medical Assistant was useless"

"I'm attending the EHT campus for the Medical Assistant Program. I absolutely loved this school and its instructors. The program was challenging but I was able to keep up and pass every class with an A. I felt that I received the education I needed to be a medical assistant out in the world. I got great experience during my externship. The school has even helped me to get my resume out to assist in getting a job. I couldn't of been happier with my experience."

"I recommend going to this school. They have great teachers, a really good program by far. I had an excellent encounter with this school . They are very helpful and they know there stuff. They want you to succeed so they push you to do great things. All around this school would be rated a 10 to me . Prism Career Institute faculty are very nice , helpful , driven and experienced in all they do for their students . The Medical Assistant program is highly recommended . They want you to pass the certification test . They give you everything your going to need to study from books, notes, hands on and even study guides and most of all there personal experiences with the field of study. Totally recommend this school!!!!!!"

"Btw, I never graduated! Long story short, I completed the course may 2010, when I was told to come back to take a class that I should have taken, but they failed to tell me that! I was supposed to be waiting to go on my internship. Next class did not start until August! by then I had a different job working late hours, which is when my classes were, at night, so it was a struggle for me to make the class. I finally finished the class, it took about a month. And I had to wait another month for internship. About 3 days before I was supposed to start my internship, I found out I was pregnant! I was working my regular job and doing the internship, which may I add was 35 mins from my house and an hour away from my job. I had to work overnights at my job and work mornings at the internship. Mind you, I told the person in charge of internship that I was pregnant. Just telling her just because. But later down the line, I was so tired I was falling asleep behind the wheel! Very dangerous! I told her could I work less hours at the internship or find somewhere closer because I can't be falling asleep while driving! Pregnancy makes you even more tired! She said no and we all have to make sacrifices to get what we want, are you Effin serious! I unfortunately lost the baby about a month later, which i proved to the "dean" or whomever because I stopped going to the internship because I was not about to kill myself! Once again, they did not care! I said I wanted to complete the internship so I could graduate. They basically gave me the run around and I never finished. Wasted $17,000 with these school loans. Go to a local college, MUCH CHEAPER and they seem to care more. They kick so many people out and don't care, because once the loan clears, they can do whatever they want! I'm trying to find a way to take these idiots to court!"

"This school is a waste of money. Yes all of these technical schools are only out to make money. They are extremely nice when you want to sign up but once you put your name on that dotted line you are not just a no body. They help who they want to help when it comes to placing people in the right internship. If your then right type of person then they will send you to employers who are actually hiring and all others who may report them they just send you to people who get free work out of you but never have any intentions on hiring you no matter how good you are or how educated you are. If you don't fit the description, then no matter what your not getting hired. When they send you on jobs its jobs out the newspaper. When you are struggling with the class work they fail people and then tell them they need to retake the course and make them pay more money. These schools are SCAMS. When you go look for employment you are told by employers that you need one to two years experience. Well school is only for 9 months so where are you suppose to get experience.....you don't and you don't get a job. Then they want you to be bilingual.....yea Prism don't tell you that either. So don't waste your time or your money because if your not the right one with 2 years experience and speak bilingual you don't stand a chance but you will repay that student loan. CLOSE THESE SCHOOLS DOWN.......DISGRACE.......oh yea if the schools don't get a percentage of their grads jobs they will go out of business so that is why only the select few get the jobs. Right color, right teacher, and right language may get you a job if they are behind in their percentage otherwise you won't get one either. A bunch of bull."

"Okay. So I decided to go to the campus in Cherry Hill because it was close and when I went to my meeting they sugar coated EVERYTHING. It seemed like the perfect fit for me. They explained the tutoring a great career developing expert, and an externship that can land you a job and they tell you it's impossible not to get a job after graduation. Okay here's my experience. The first day our teacher knew nothing what was going on. She gave us a half assed (excuse my language) job on teaching because of a "promotion" and this isn't "her job" She had us do nothing but sit around. No work. No homework. And the work that was finally given to us was just.. I can't even explain how easy. I went to talk to the director about how I felt about not receiving the proper education. He acted sweet over the phone saying this will be private. I told him that my teacher doesn't teach and half the time isn't in the class. She has the nerve to pull me into her office and give me a talk. If you'd just do your job this wouldn't happen. I love the friends that I made. But I am soooooo disappointed. I've only been in this school for a month and I already have bad vibes. They are completely unorganized. They don't know the curriculum, they make you go to school under unsafe conditions, and they make you make up holidays and snow days and don't care if you have a job. And I fear that I've let this go too far. I fear there's no way I'll get my $17,000 loan refunded and I've wasted time and money I don't have for an awful education. The school WILL NOT work with you. I feared of having a bad education and I was the bad guy. I can't believe any of this. This is supposed to be a professional environment and they do nothing professionally. I wish I knew this before I signed the paperwork. Point blank. I wasted my time. Don't waste yours on a school that doesn't care."
