"Anyone who plans to go to this school better make sure to read and become an expert in the scoops policies. Do not let yourself believe it get confused by what the faculty says. They will tell you lied and you will be the one paying for it. When you get s****** over for their lies, they blame you for it and act like you should have known while also apologizing for their staff not knowing. They just want your money and will s**** you over to get as much of it as they can. Kaplan better than this shaft school."

"Poor planning and communication. We were paying cash months for classes, and dropped from my next courseload due to not filling out financial aid documents. My account had a $0 balance, and still dropped from classes. They still wanted us to sign up for financial aid. It seems they are in business to get student loan debt via financial aid and hope to make extra income on late fees and interest, and not interested in catering to students who pay bills upon receipt in full."

"I have to say I was impressed with the level of engagement for the program. I transferred from a state program in the same field and feel I learned more at Purdue. It is a online program. It does seem to be a bit mor costlier, but when compared to other schools around the nation it seems to be in the ball park as far the cost per course. I have read some of the negative comments and never experienced any that was previous listed. I actually found the staff be more helpful and friendlier that the University I previously attended at home in Louisiana. I would recommend giving the Purdue Global a chance before jjudging!"

"This school's financial aid office is a joke. After I graduated, they would not fill out a loan deferment for me for my undergraduate loans and basically told me I was on my own. I would call to inquire and was put on hold MULTIPLE times and they could never help me. They also disbursed DOUBLE the amount of loans for me in my last term as a student there and made me fill out multiple forms to get refunded, and were never able to refund me. Be prepared to be disappointed with their financial aid office."

"I wrote a review last time but the WORST MISTAKE ever! If you come from a low-income household like I do this in not where you want to go. I'm literally broke, they ask for a lot of money every few months and what I have to pay for just a few months to get a cerfiticate is almost as much as what my sibling went through at actual colleges. My sibling has 5 years of college which includes a bachlor's degree. I am only getting a certificate and paying almost the same amount."

"I didn't have the admissions issues some others mentioned. I used my post 9/11 and the military outreach person made sure it went smoothly. Now for the classes... Well they didn't make a hell of a lot of sense to me. The seminars were pretty good and the professor seemed to know his business, but then the assignment had almost nothing to do with the assigned reading or the seminars. This school also makes you do a ton of those useless discussion boards, they added zero value to the course and are just a way to make sure you get some points. If you are fairly competent and can write at least as well as this review you should be more than capable of earning your masters from here. I probably would not recommend this school to others, based mostly on the excessive amount of discussion boards and the seemingly disconnected relationship between the assignments and what was taught."

I am LEAVING THE UNIVERSITY after only 2 terms. The teachers are worthless, registrar took 6 weeks to process my transcripts, and the only saving grace is that the courses are SO EASY to pass with a business background."

This college has a great faculty, many resources for success, tools available to help with all situations (tutoring, paper checking, APA formatting). Overall I have immensely enjoyed my time here and the experiences i have had with the staff and faculty. I love the opportunities i will be able to explore with my degree. "I see here that everyone has heir own experience, but I have to say, I never had a negative experience with this school. I do notice a few changes, but nothing negative. I try my best to attend all seminars, but it gets hard sometimes so to have that option 2 to complete when I cannot attend is a wonderful alternative. I do not like having to take the extra time, but sometimes it just becomes necessary. There are classes where the seminar is not required, but I still find it helpful in retention of information a bit better than I would get from solely reading the materials. I appreciate the discussions as they help to deepen my thinking on the subjects I am learning. As for financial aid, I haven't had any major issues. My payments tend to take longer to post and they send me a bill when I do not hold any responsibility at that time, but I know to wait until the grant or loan payment posts before I freak out. Everyone I have ever had to speak with has been professional, helpful and courteous so it saddens me to hear that so many people have had bad experiences with the staff, but I promise they're not all bad. I started with Kaplan in 2017. My enrollment advisor was pushy and did not understand why I could not enroll right that very moment, but after I got rid of him, everything was great! I will be done with my bachelor's in May of 2020 and I plan on attending again to obtain my Master's."

"I attended Kaplan University before Purdue University bought them out. With that said, I cannot tell you how Purdue actually works. However, I will say that Purdue has done nothing to change our experience. Each class is a dog and pony show. I almost have my associate's degree and I HAVE LEARNED NOTHING. You get very basic, egg washed concepts with software classes. Basic operations, increment/decrement, etc. Listen... For profit colleges are HORRIBLE! The more you pass, the more money they make. They bank on you strictly passing, not learning. Let that sink in. Please, do NOT waste your time at this college. You will go into debt and feel robbed of so much time and dedication. I wish I could go back. I gave this EVERYTHING I had & did my best. For nothing. This is a real review. Don't fall for these 5-star reviews. I promise you... You want to pick another college. "I would not recommend this school. Like others have stated, there is no organization and the staff is SUPER rude. The administration and the instructors talk sarcastically and unprofessional. If you have an issue with a "professor" you are unable to get a new one because they only offer the same teacher for that class. The rules constantly change, one professor might be okay with a certain way you do something and give you 100% and then another teacher will say that is against the "rules" and give you a zero. In a masters program a zero can basically fail you since the grade point average you need is high. I really advise people to join another school, ANY other school would have to be more put together and respectful than this one."

"I do not recommend this program. I did my undergraduate program with Kaplan. The Masters program is just a let down. The mandadtory seminar is pointless and a waste of your time. You will have the same teachers over and over and over (They only have two fulltime staff). It's fairly easy to pull good grades but the education you recieve is substandard and there are teachers and administartion that don't care about you as a student. Forget the financial aid department, they will never get your bill even close to being correct."

"So even after I withdrew from the trial offer well in advance and received confirmation of my withdrawal I received a notice from my Credit Card company that Purdue(AKA KAPLAN) withdrew a payment. All I can say is that I am glad that I saw the warning signs in advance and ran from this institution as quick as possible. On the positive side, the people on enrolment were helpful, I just think because of their size that they must outsource the administrative departments which could be a nightmare for students. I graduated from another for-profit University and chose Purdue Global because they were now technically a non-profit, but trust the reviews, this place has the same operating procedures of its former namesake. Choose carefully fellow students."

"I will keep this short, I have a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology as well as a Master's Degree in Business Development and must say the first year or so of my MBA was the most challenging academic work and the most vivid and exciting experience that I have ever had. I am in my early 60s and have two children in their 20s. When my kids were born I dreamed of getting an MBA but know that with my workload, and responsibilities the idea of coming home and then spending and extra 4-6 hour in lecture, even it the program was hosted only 15 minutes from where I lived was beyond human edurance and my already stretched finances with a young family. Purdue University Global has been a blessing, it has filled the gaps in my previous Master's Degree and let me study when and where I can when I can, the faculty are and have been magneficient and at least for me the financial aid and student counselors despite I must say seemigly major attitude problems with some of the (old) finance and accounting tutors (who should perhaps just retire) have been excellent and very professional. All that I have to say, and I currently hold a 3.8 GPA which is the highest that I have ever achieved is that Purdue University Global is the sort of school that you get out of it exactly what you put into it. If you think that you can submit cr-p and slide by on the work of other team members it willl more than likely catch up to you. As you can imagine, I have a long and varied educational career and all I can tell you is that for a working adult, or a person whom for whatever reason cannot spent day-after-day in a brick and mortar school where the only doubtful benefit is the odd chance to network yourself into an entry level job after completion after spending +$100 grand on what? This school has been a God send to me, and one of the very best decisions that I have made in my 61 years of life. If you think that doing and online education is somehow a way to slip under the radar and do cr-ppy work yet succeed you are mistaken and all I have to say to you is don't be bitter and simply blame yourself and WORK harder because you can change things. By the way the financial does suck, there are no scholarships, a Foundation to help needy student and the cr-p company that they have contracted to help students in need are some of the worse and least carrying and effective incompetent lazy bums that I have ever encountered in my academic career and are a cancure that should be remove from a school trying to reach a whole new level. My dealing with these "people" (I am unemployed at the moment) was the worese that I ever experienced and the Career Placement Office is not much better and the resume help that they give is next to worthless if you can even depend on them to do a decent resume review for the students. It seems at least in the above elemets that I mention that the school has shamelessly perfomed only tokenism (ya' me too) to the real current and post graduation needs of its students and that is perhaps why one can sense sunch a tone of despire and disappontment in some of these post because Purdue University Global has awsome potential but unfortuanantly in many respects still at least on many adminstrative level is still "playing games" that are cheap sorted and short sighted with it current students. My local community college offers 10x's more real ($$$) suport for it students, and that is perhaps why Purdue Univerisity Global (and surprisingly Purdue University proper) are extremely lacking when it comes to supporting financially challenged but ambitous, intelligent, and hard working student. One must ask oneself, where do their values lie?"

"I am pretty surprised by some of the comments and ratings. I began my associates degree in 2016 (through Kaplan) in CJ and completed the at then went right into my Bach and finished that by 2017 (Perdue Global). I found that the portfolio program offered for transferring job experience and prior learning into credits was amazing. It was a very tough class, but I saved over 20K by the end of it since I was very deep into the CJ field. I even moved to Canada and my credits transferred and both of my degrees were recognized as honours degrees. I can see how the financial aid piece can be confusing for people, but that comes with any university, Overall, I was surprised and very happy about my experience with the university and will begin my Masters in February in public administration,"
