Purdue Global Reviews of Bachelor's in Liberal Studies

I had a very positive experience at Purdue Global. I do recommend this university to anyone who works full time, has a family, and requires some flexibility in their course schedule due to life! I had a few life issues that the professors at Purdue Global worked with me which allowed me to complete my assignments and submit them for full credit. I would absolutely not recommend this school to anyone, especially those in the military. This school touts itself as "military friendly" but the professors are far from military friendly. There is literally nothing good I can say about this school. The classes run 10-weeks and the workload increases and becomes filler work; busy work to justify the additional 2 weeks of class. The one-hour seminars each week, especially if you're deployed or OCONUS, will only add to the workload if you're unable... Read More to attend or create a situation where you're getting up at 0200 to attend. I've taken 3 classes with Purdue and the Psychology and Nutrition classes were my final deciding factors about dropping out of this school, changing my major, and finding another institution. At this point I'm merely waiting for the semester to end so I can drop this school and move on. Do not attend this school if you actually want to work toward achieving a legitimate and respected degree which isn't hindered by biased professors and lack-luster curriculum.

I was an older student. I have attended many universities over the years both on-line and classroom. I was very pleased with Purdue Global. The instructors/Professors had a genuine desire to see their students succeed. They were available for questions and ensured their students were not only able to retain the information but were able to apply it in "real world" situations. Every professor was like this. I am proud to have attended this university. Every penny I spent on my education was worth it. President Mitch Daniels has established a well rounded university that gives a quality education. I will hire a Purdue Global student any day of the week.
