This institution has an outrageous amount of hidden charges. I currently have a hold on my account after an insane charge was issued more than halfway through the term. I was told that the financial aid department had attempted to contact me, which they definitely had not. I did not receive any emails or voicemails. I setup a payment plan with the institution which they decided was not to their liking AFTER the arrangement was made and money was being taken from my account. I then made arrangements... Read More that were to their liking. However, they wanted a $500 deposit which I was not able to pay during that call. I received an email two days later stating that they made the decision to "dismiss" me from the program for "academic reasons." Now, I find it interesting that a student with a 3.9 GPA was dismissed for academic reasons. They cannot provide any sort of explanation. I did not withdraw from classes, all credits were completed, no repeat courses were taken, etc. Now they're refusing to contact me. Such a fantastic way to help students advance their education.

HORRIBLE institution to work with. Don't be fooled by the "Purdue" name. They're giving the true Purdue University a poor reputation. They will give you the runaround with financial aid, lie to you about costs and requirements, advisors and financial aid will refuse to return phone calls, and majority of the instructors are a joke who cannot stand when a student is doing well in their course. I had an instructor dock points every week saying that my assignments were late or missing information. I... Read More would actually have to take screenshots of my submissions and send them to her. I would then get an email back stating "oh, you're right! Here's the full points." I have now been blocked out of my account a few days before the start of the semester due to a past due balance that I didn't even know that I had! They allow you to setup payment plans online, which I did promptly when I noticed the balance (prior to my account being locked). They locked me out of the account after they began taking payments. I called financial aid, only for the incredibly condescending and rude woman to tell me that an online payment plan doesn't count! So, they're taking money out of my account and not applying it towards anything because I didn't actually speak with someone. After sitting on hold for about 10 minutes to speak with a supervisor, their phones all of a sudden have "issues" and don't allow transfers. I've been waiting for a considerable amount of time for a "supervisor" to call me back when it was promised quite a bit of time ago. These scam artists aren't getting anymore of my money. I'll be withdrawing from classes and enrolling in a real institution.

I began the program in September 2017. I struggled with the Anatomy and Physiology classes so I got put on probation for my "D" average grade. I bounced back and made all A's & B's for my last courses including my intership and externship. We was required to do 50 hours of internship and 160 hours of externship. I done more than 50 hours of intership and 165 externship hours to make sure I had plenty of hours to graduate. I turned in all my intership hours with NO problem. Externship was a different... I submitted all my hours and they continued to tell me I did not have enough hours when the completed hours date, time, clock in and out hours was in BLACK AND WHITE right in front of them. We went back and fourth for Multiple days and finally I had to reach out to my instructor at my clincal site and have her submit the EXACT same paper work I did but coming from her so they would accept my hours. All hours had to be turned in by the middle of February and I completed all my hours at the beginning of February being done with class two weeks early other than taking out class final. I took out class final of 180 question on our last day of class. Over the 10 weeks of this MA295 class I had a 100grade because I completed all my assignment and quizes as I was suppose to and passes them all. The last day of class I take the exam completing it with an 80. I assumed it would bring my 100grade average down but not hurt me to be less than an A for the class still. Final grades was posted a week later into our degree plan and it stated I had recieved an "F" for the class. I called imediately and emailed the professior. The "professior" respondeed with ill have to look into why, and that is all I ever heard from him. I escalated it to speak to student relations and she told me she would look into it and reach out to the professor. His reponse was "I never recieved her exam, and I was never notified she needed more time". For myself being a student with a 100 adverage and just completed all her clincal hours as I was suppose to while working a FULL TIME job I would not just opt out of an 180 question exam. The decision was his and he failed me just like that. Not only had I spent thousands of dollars paying for these courses to get my degree. I am not out a degree having to pay for the course over and completed the clincal hours over again. WHY would I retake this class and go through the clincal hours again just to get scammed all over AGAIN and never recieve my diploma like I was suppose to in February 2019. I have not had to fork out money for a lawyer to fight this for me because they completly scammed me out of money and will not transfer my credits anywhere else unless I pay them $337. I advise everyone do NOT was your time or money on this school. Kaplan was wounderful me as a student with them. When Purdue bought them out I have had problems after problems and never recieved my degree I worked my tail off for and paid for.
