I'm about to graduate and finally had my last straw. I was forced to buy a $600 Oculus for virtual patient assessment which added no value to my learning experience. My nurse advisor forgot to sign me up for my last class in my last term, extending my graduation out another 3 months. The constant poor administrative issues and lack of student support is startling. The last straw was that I had to pay $538 for materials for a prep course they make you take in your last term. I would think if you have... Read More

My one complaint with this program came down to graduation. I am set to be done with my final term of classes May 9th. Spring commencement ceremony is May 6th. I was given absolutely no information for graduation from the school and my teachers. When I reached out to the graduation department, they told me there was nothing I could do to walk for the spring commencement since I "missed registration". For someone who has spent thousands of dollars on their degree and has spent 2 years of pure dedication... Read More

I enjoyed my stay here at Purdue Global, and that’s why I’m going to be returning for my Doctorate degree, DNP. I transferred most of my credits from another university, and almost all my credit transferred, which was amazing!! Thank you PGU for that memorable experience! It meant a lot to me.

Overall I have had a great experience at Purdue. I bad teacher out of many I would say was a win. I did not like having to find my own clinical site but many schools are doing that. Overall as a said great school and great experience. Everything listed I would mention to a friend.

What I love about Purdue is that they care about their students: This is seen in the way they call to Check up on me. In addition, they provide students with advisers who help them in making decisions about school. Financial aid is available to students.

I do not feel the classes have prepared me for my boards. I only had issues with one professor. The Pediatric Professor does not do well with responding to emails/questions. She graded an assignment before I turned it in. I did let her know but she did not respond to my emails and did not change the grade. The financial department did not notify me in a timely manner about the cost that I would be paying. The last 3 classes I ran out of financial aide and had to pay out of pocket. That is hard to... First of all, I feel overall that the program focuses too much on “busy work” and “hoops” to jump through and too little on substance. Not once did I feel I learned something from journal assignments or discussion boards. They are pointless wastes of time. Second, iHuman is an atrocity that should be done away with immediately. I know other schools also use it and I have spoken with students from other programs and the feels were unanimous. It does nothing to prepare you for real world Scenarios... Read More

I would highly recommend Purdue Global to anyone wanting to pursue their FNP. Not only have I learned a lot, but the program went by so quickly! Because of the opportunity to enroll in their Fast Track, I was able to obtain my degree in 18 months! I feel confident in my ability to successfully practice as an FNP. Thanks Purdue Global!

So overall this school helped me gain the knowledge I needed to know. They took criticism from the students throughout the course and revamped the program. Their is a weekly seminar and test are now taken with a lock down browser to prevent cheating or looking up answers. The weekly seminars help go over the content you are learning for the week. Most of the instructors are very responsive to e-mails or phone calls. The instructors were more than willing to answer any questions you need and to talk... Read More

This school's financial aid office is a joke. After I graduated, they would not fill out a loan deferment for me for my undergraduate loans and basically told me I was on my own. I would call to inquire and was put on hold MULTIPLE times and they could never help me. They also disbursed DOUBLE the amount of loans for me in my last term as a student there and made me fill out multiple forms to get refunded, and were never able to refund me. Be prepared to be disappointed with their financial aid office.... Read More
