Where to start? I'm currently attending Purdue global University for information technology. When I first started they told me that you would take two classes per semester and you would graduate in 3 years, which I thought was great because that's awesome relatively normal for the bachelor's degree. As of now my graduation day is 2028. I'm not spending the next six years of my life with this school and when you tell them that is wrong and they should change that or give you two courses per semester they have an attitude about it. As of now meaning today I got two courses which is great as long as it stays that way. I haven't had a decent professor yet, I think the discussion boards are joke because you can't really talk to your classmates about any assignments you may have trouble with rather have to stick to the topic on hand. They grade you for these discussion boards when I thought I was going to school for information technology and not a journalist program. I shouldn't have to write papers on papers on papers about how I would do certain kind of work in information technology. It should be about my skills and what I know but the reason I'm going to the school it's to learn about this material and half the time the professors expect you to know this already. They are supposed to teach you but instead don't care. The advisors are a joke because I keep telling them I don't need a certain course but they keep adding it on there even though I have taken it previously in another college. Overall I wouldn't want to go here because it's a joke and if you are thinking about doing information technology just beware of that you're writing papers Non-Stop for course that should be more Hands-On rather writing papers about what you would do for a company like it is an interview. The professors don't care about you or when you ask them questions they ignore you and expect you to figure it out on your own when it's their job to help you out but they don't. If I could recommend I will suggest other online schools

Having already completed my BSN, I have been working in a management position for several years. I felt like having this master's in Healthcare Admin would help me find a more executive-level position where having a background in nursing is not necessarily required. What I have found, however, is that most positions I find seem to be more of lateral transfers than up the ladder. I loved being a student of Purdue university global. I am going to continue my study in this University In-Sha-Allah. Starting Bachelor’s program right after Graduation and already registered for classes. I never had to worry about anything, course plan , homework, support from professors, technical support, everything was wonderful. I chose Purdue University Global because of its reputation and permitted me to transfer of graduate credit from my previous graduate work. What surprised me was the weekly synchronous online seminar which helped connect to my professors to clarify concepts or theories. The assignments, asynchronous weekly posting on the blackboard and weekly seminars enable me and other students to have multiple mode for the subject/theme of the week. It could definitely be better. There are areas that need improvement, such as their IT department. I’ve been having an issue since last week where my classes aren’t appearing correctly. The new term began yesterday and it worked for one day and then blocked me. When I reached out for IT support, it took 30 minutes before anyone helped, and even then he said it was an enrollment issue. It seems like they just want to get paid and not help. I’m planning on transferring to a university close by. The... Read More education is bad here, but being that it is still fairly new, they have so much more room to grow. It’s a little pricey for being an online school. There are other top universities that are online for less money than PUG.

I began attending a small local college and earned my AS degree. I then began taking courses for my BS degree. About half way through my BS degree, the college was bought out by Kaplan University. I was brought into a room and told that my AS degree would be listed as Kaplan and that I might as well continue attending BS courses at Kaplan, because the credits would not transfer or be considered of high quality. I completed my remaining courses and had two degrees conferred by Kaplan. After some time I was informed that Kaplan had been bought out by Purdue Global and received new transcripts that no longer listed Kaplan. I called and spoke with some very polite employees at Purdue Global about my diplomas. Although my official transcripts will say Purdue, my diplomas will not. I've already experienced this situation in the past, and believe that the Registrar’s Office as the ability to provide official diplomas to former Kaplan University students. The right things to do, would be to ensure former students are supported and provided matching documentation.
