"I had really high expectations for the quality of education that would come from a name such as Purdue. This was my first time doing any sort of formal adult education online, everything else was years ago in person. There was a lot of support at the beginning and my advisor checked in every couple of months during the process so I felt supported that way. My issue was some of the poor teachers. I probably had (just guesstimating) 10-15 teachers and only about four were really good and felt like being an in person teacher. We had numerous seminars that were completely useless. I'm not sure if this was because the courses are for people who are already nurses and have a lot of experience themselves and the teachers felt like they couldn't teach us anything or if they felt awkward teaching into a camera. Another peeve I had was with a class that was teaching about communication and interviewing that was completely wrong. I talked with my professional friends who spend their days interviewing people and looking over resumes and they said some of the things they were teaching would get their resume completely thrown out or ignored and the teacher is preaching it as gospel. My biggest problem with this nursing program was the absolutely lack of help with finding a clinical placement for the required clinicals. The nursing program is for people working so I am working full-time M-F and trying to call sites for clinical placements with not well thought out explanations about what I needed from the site. This was so absolutely frustrating and demoralizing. I would recommend this program if you are confident in your abilities and can do projects without much direction or examples but you can also think for yourself and decide whether or not to use their teachings."

"This is a great school that helps get your anticipated needs for your education for your future occupation. The only thing I would recommend is providing books for those who are taking master degree courses. Sometimes it is hard to access those books"

"Instructors were outstanding!!! Not just academics. Extensive experience in the real world. Great experience with Financial Aid. They were always able to answer my questions and solve any issues. Student Advisors - I had several. 1st one at the beginning was very helpful. Then pretty much never heard from her again. 2nd one helped somewhat, then never heard from them again either. 3rd one was the best. He tirelessly answered all my questions, and worked until all my issues were resolved. Kudos to "Michael". Career Services - were awesome! One point, they helped me revamp my resume and cover letter, which was instrumental in landing a job. Quote the man hiring me at the interview, 'I had many question I was going to ask you. But after reading your resume, I am not going to ask them. I want (to hire) you!' When I enrolled in Purdue I had been out of school for 43 years. While I have extensive experience, I never went to college. It is because of my phenomenal instructers, that I was not only able to graduate with my BS, but did so with Summa Cum Laude Honors! The one major beef I have is that when class units start on Wednesdays and end on Tuesdays, please, DO NOT have seminars on Sundays, Mondays, and especially not on Tuesdays, which is ludicrous. This gives students very little time to make any corrections to assignments. Overall, I am extremely pleased with my experiences at Purdue."

"Absolutely some of the best relevant classes I have ever attended. I felt that the instructors actually cared about my success and wanted us to succeed as a class. They always made themselves available, some even giving out their personal numbers. Overall I would recommend anyone to attend and proud to have graduated here."

"It's a fairly affordable option for people who need to do school on the side. I take two classes every 10 weeks, and it's worked out great for me personally. With an apartment and two dogs to take care of, this program was able to easily fit into my schedule. This is a great option for anyone looking to get a degree/certificate to put on their resume to appeal to more employers. It shows them you are capable of learning difficult topics and broadens your job capabilities."

"Professors, courses and support team were great. I found that at times the workload became abundant but it was easy to navigate through it all with the help from my professors. The classes were structured perfectly for online group learning, challenging and thought provoking."

"I believe that Purdue only employs the best, most knowledgeable instructors. They are always available to help every step of the way. I enjoyed every assignment submitted because this coursework is built on "real life" scenarios, and not once felt like a waste of time or energy!"

"Best decision I have made. was choosing to attend Purdue. The desire to see you succeed permeates through everything they provide for the student's success. The choice to structure classes to fit your working life is also a bonus. Everything form degree plans, to flexible payment schedules, and student advisors who are always available to assist, made Purdue the perfect choice."

"Hello, I had an enjoyable experience pursuing a third degree through Purdue Global. The instruction, assignments, and discussions were all of a good quality and I felt they were beneficial to my learning. I did not have any negative experiences and found the instructors to be engaged and knowledgeable. The support I received from my student advisor after I was assigned a second individual was lacking. I received little to no responses on limited inquiries but they did assist me at the end with the capstone process. Thank you. Eric B. Perdue"

"Purdue Global allowed me to attend college courses while serving as a full-time active-duty military member. The classes are easy to follow online, and the instructors are passionate about the subjects they teach. With my Bachelor's degree completed, I can separate from the military and immediately start nursing school. I highly recommend Purdue Global for anyone short on time and looking to advance their education at their own controlled pace."

"Please do not attend this school. They will promise support for clinical placements and will not follow through. Additionally the courses will not prepare you to pass your boards. The pharmacology course has test questions from an RN psychology textbook that have no bearing on the NP scope - and that is just the tip of the iceberg. I had only 3 clinical courses to complete and had to change programs as I had difficulty securing a clinical site and had ZERO assistance from the school. I am so glad I did change programs though because that’s when I realized just how lousy the curriculum with this program is. It is a diploma mill and they will accept everyone who is willing to fork out the money. Not only do I not recommend this program I can say without question that I know multiple directors who will not hire graduates from this program. Please, go elsewhere! Your career and future success depends upon it!"

"Tremendously disappointing experience here thus far. There has been ZERO engagement on the part of the instructor and the seminars are merely Power Points and 60 solid minutes of being "talked at". My academic advisor is condescending and self-interested and I honestly wish I had never enrolled here."

"The curriculum is perfect for online classes. The instructors are knowledgeable and willing to assist student with their personal and course issues. The grading of the assignments, discussions and test is fair across the board. The experience with this college has been so great, that I will continue my education here."

"I would first like to thank the entire staff for the excellent knowledge they have given me regarding health information management. At this university, my dream has come true. Several reasons make me like Purdue Global. 1. First and foremost, it was effortless for me to manage my time. 2. Students could perform their studies at their own pace. It was difficult for me to return to university after 20 years as an international student. Thank you to all of the devoted, experienced faculty and advisors that helped me a lot to achieve my dream 3. The faculties are very kind, humble, and always ready to support. It was an injustice if I took one faculty name. All of them had tremendous support during my studies. One suggestion, if the university could make some arrangements for international students to pay their fees, then I would say. Then I believe that no university can compete with Purdue Global. If I get a chance in the future to study, I will prefer Purdue Global."

"I did not have many issues with Purdue Global until it came to my last round of clinical rotations. I had submitted my preceptor and site back in august and all of a sudden in april the site stated the i was not allowed to do clinicals in washington state, which I had been doing and my clinical advisor had not mentioned this being an issue. Long story short, there was a lot of false promises made by the associate dean of the school of nursing to me and it ended up leading to me having to find another preceptor and clinical location last minute, almost forcing me to postpone my final round of clinicals for another term. The lack of organization and professionalism on purdue's end was eye opening and changed my opinion on the university to the negative."

"Absolutely horrible. Staff is carless, content is dated, dishonest people everywhere. Just there to take your money. Would not recommend to anyone looking to further their education. This whole entire experience was a complete waste of time effort and money."

"Purdue University Global was unexpected when I was looking to continue my education. I was interested in Arizona State University but could not speak to anyone regarding attending school there online. Purdue University Global popped up with an ad regarding the University and registration. I thought to myself, what do I have to lose? If I do not get selected, I will look elsewhere closer to home. I live in California, and there are universities close to me that I could attend. My brother-in-law mentioned to me that the name alone carries weight when people look at a resume or discuss university affiliation. So I applied to Purdue and got accepted. That was two years ago, and since that time, I have made the dean's list, I believe, every term but one. I am excited about finishing my classes in a week and what the future holds for me now that I have a degree. Anyone that is looking or even thinking about Purdue University Global will not go wrong. As a popular commercial put it, "Just do it". It was a lifelong dream for me to accomplish this journey, and I am glad I did. Thank you, Purdue."

"I started by bachelor's degree at Purdue University's main campus back in 1998. When I decided to finish my degree, Purdue University Global was the perfect fit for me. All of my previous credits, that I had accumulated over two years, transferred. Which left only two years to complete my degree. I enjoyed the virtual atmosphere. Since I work full time and have a family and house to take care of, flexibility was a necessity. I have been inducted into seven honor societies during my two years here. I will be graduating in a week, Magna Cum Laude, and have already enrolled in the graduate program with Purdue University Global."
