Student & Graduate Reviews

"Up til recently I had a fairly decent impression of the school but a certain professor has completely blown that. You must write discussions once per week. No problem I did that. This CPA professor tried to tell me my paper had grammatical errors and spelling. This was a joke as I ran spell check with word and grammarly. So he can’t even grade appropriately. Apparently they let the computer grad papers rather than be a real teacher and review/teach."

"Very unprofessional Professor at Purdue University Global. Some of the Professors are not there to teach, but for a paycheck in my opinion! I had been assigned with some of the worse teacher and its said because this is my second degree. If I would have know what I know now, I would have picked a different University."
The post about Purdue maxing out aid is Not True. - 8/17/2019

"I would just like to correct the post about Purdue University Global only maxing out Federal Aid, as the Associate Degree programs have a tuition cap of $22,500, and the Bachelor's Degree programs are capped at $45,000.00. I would also like to say that I learned very useful and applicable information from nearly every course I completed. The course work is relevant and challenging, far more challenging than the courses I took at Clemson. (which is ranked only 16 places under Purdue University) Not only are you required to learn what you would normally learn in any college course, but you must also learn the incredibly valuable skill of time management, or you will not graduate. I think that people have this idea that online learning is easy, and that students are given questions that google can answer. I just want to clarify that this is not the case at all. Nearly all of the work you are required to do, consists of papers and presentations that are all put through Turnitin analysis, where any score of 25% or more is an automatic fail, and subject to a plagiarism investigation and potential expulsion. It is not an easy accomplishment and anyone who earns a degree from Purdue University Global should be taken seriously in circles of industry and academia. Like any school, however, there are some areas that could improve, and for Purdue University Global, it would be in how communicative and informative advisors are. They should give much more information prior to students having to search or ask, and they should definitely make decisions about the student's academic path with the students and not for them. Other than that, I had a very positive and rewarding experience."
School is a scam - 7/29/2019

"Do not apply! It is run by a for profit company. Purdue University just ruined their name! Run away as fast as you can. A bachelors degree will end up costing you $44500! They will leave you in debt and hiring companies are recognizing the poor quality of online education."

"The student advisors were nice when I started. After I signed on, my advisor became increasingly difficult to connect with. If you do not mind writing out extensive emails to address issues, you will probably be fine. I find it easier to talk to an actual person, so I found this aspect annoying. I had issues with my portal and had to keep up on my records. I had incorrect data on my degree plan several times. Also, when I would call the registrar or cashier's office, I was treated in a very rude manner. My advisor was wonderful at first, but was less helpful as time went on. They are great until you needed help clearing up some kind of issues, and let's be honest here, you are going to have something come up at some point! I picked this school for the price and ease of enrollment. You know how the old saying goes - you get what you pay for!"
Military Freindly - 11/12/2018

"Purdue University Global was great experience for me. I felt that Purdue was extremely military friendly. I did have a few issues with registering for couple classes but it was always worked out between my education center and Purdue. Classes were challenging, but there was always some sort of support from either the professor or a tutor. These classes are not something you could just breeze through, you have to put in the work over 10 weeks to make the grade. I loved the platform, and how most of the professors would work with me as I had to travel a lot. I feel that I did learn a lot from my experience with Purdue Global and that it is helping me with my career."
