Degree: Cyber Security
Graduation Year: 2018

I was satisfied with the school but I ended up going to another school. First let me tell you this is how it worked for me. They give you a written assignment for every unit in most classes. Sometimes two written assignments that I have seen from 100 words to 500 words. Then you have to contribute to two discussions per unit. Then for each discussion you have to post two replies to two students for each discussion. School units start on Wednesdays and end on Tuesday. Seminars are mandatory. With seminars you attend at a time convenient to you. If you can't attend seminars you can do an option two which is describing what happened in the seminar (seminar is recorded) or sometimes the teacher gives you a written assignment to complete instead. I took 4 courses here and the courses are 6 credits each. Each term is 10 weeks. And you can only take two courses per 10 week term. For discussions, each post is worth 33%. And you have to post up to 3 times per discussion. Now i ended up going to another school called ECPI. Here's the difference. Seminars are not mandatory in the new school, they are recorded for later viewing. Also the weeks start on Monday morning and end on Sun at 11:59PM. It is a bit more organized at ECPI. And the courses are 5 Weeks long and only 3 credits. And you can take up to 3 courses per term at ECPI. At Purdue, my school costed $1855 per course and at ECPI it would average out to $2700 total for up to 3 courses. At Purdue they have quizzes but the teachers give you the answers to them. However I think they are doing away with the quizzes. At ECPI the quizzes count as a small percentage of your grade. But at ECPI it is less writing definitely. Plus I can get my bachelor's next year at the new school and at Purdue it would have taken me to the year June 2021.

Degree: Medical Billing & Coding
Graduation Year: 2018

Terrible school, only concern is being able to enroll you as soon as possible in order to take your money. Academic advisors and financial aid supervisors tell you what you want to hear and never what you need to know. I finished the medical billing and coding program and tried accessing previous course material that all students who participated PAID for and was told I am unable to access it anymore since I havent decided to continue on with any other programs. So basically youre screwed if you want to continue to look at work youve done and review past course material/books even though you paid and finished the program! I need to review the things I did through the program in order to prepare for another certification exam! If youre considering going here for medical billing and coding, DO NOT.

Purdue Global doesnt not change the Kaplan employees. The financial aid department has no idea what they are doing. My husband attends an online college that is leaps and bounds above Purdue Global. With the prices they charge they should be much better than what they are. They should be able to generate a refund, but instead they sit on it until the last second of the last day and sometimes, they don't even get it out on time. They get paid.

This is a horrible money hungry school. Every time financial aid request a document and I submit it they reject it. They accepted over ten thousand dollars worth of financial aid on my behalf and never sent me my refund checks. I had to call FASFA on them and report them to get my money. DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL. They will put you in debt and they will not help you.

Degree: Business Administration
Graduation Year: 2020

The financial aid departments gives the run around about funding for classes!!! Supposedly my financial packet had to be done over three times with multiple requests. No one is on the same page and it seems like a waste of money for the university. I will be complaining if possible.

Graduation Year: 2019

Giving me the run around. 5 classes from getting my bachelors degree. My loans were all set to go up until July 2018. During this term I noticed my loans didnt go through and they told me I put the school code in wrong. I havent changed my school code and has worked all through 2018. I call them on week 5 of my classes that havent gotten paid for and they tell me I am maxed out on my loans and i am only able to get $57,000 max for loans. So you set me up for failure by not even having enough funding to receive my bachelor's degree. It cost more than $57,000 for the bachelor's degree. I wonder if everyone has to pay out of pocket to finish paying for school. Are they getting robbed too?

First off, the financial aid dept. is the worst. Each representative explains something different regarding your status. Three weeks ago, I called and they advised they received everything. Followed up three times since and each time its a new request or issue. Regarding my academic advisor, shes not very helpful and always seems uninterested in support. The technical department is most helpful with information, guidance and assistance which is more than helpful. Im very much considering a transfer to another online degree program as my friends are concerned that Im having such difficulties in just my first semester with this school . Ive read what few reviews out there and so many of my issues are the same as others experience. To top it off, had to report that my instructor made a mistake and put another students name on my grade report and forgot to add a grade that the tech person noticed I didnt get credit for. Its a mess and I see the writing on the wall.

I have never had a worse experience with a college. They continuously messed up my FASFA and TA. I missed out on 2 start dates, because they could not figure out how to get the TA processed and then said I owed them money. Overtime I called it was going to be another 5-6 business days before the problem was fixed....yet they never fixed it. DO NOT choose this school.
