"This institution has an outrageous amount of hidden charges. I currently have a hold on my account after an insane charge was issued more than halfway through the term. I was told that the financial aid department had attempted to contact me, which they definitely had not. I did not receive any emails or voicemails. I setup a payment plan with the institution which they decided was not to their liking AFTER the arrangement was made and money was being taken from my account. I then made arrangements that were to their liking. However, they wanted a $500 deposit which I was not able to pay during that call. I received an email two days later stating that they made the decision to "dismiss" me from the program for "academic reasons." Now, I find it interesting that a student with a 3.9 GPA was dismissed for academic reasons. They cannot provide any sort of explanation. I did not withdraw from classes, all credits were completed, no repeat courses were taken, etc. Now they're refusing to contact me. Such a fantastic way to help students advance their education."

"HORRIBLE institution to work with. Don't be fooled by the "Purdue" name. They're giving the true Purdue University a poor reputation. They will give you the runaround with financial aid, lie to you about costs and requirements, advisors and financial aid will refuse to return phone calls, and majority of the instructors are a joke who cannot stand when a student is doing well in their course. I had an instructor dock points every week saying that my assignments were late or missing information. I would actually have to take screenshots of my submissions and send them to her. I would then get an email back stating "oh, you're right! Here's the full points." I have now been blocked out of my account a few days before the start of the semester due to a past due balance that I didn't even know that I had! They allow you to setup payment plans online, which I did promptly when I noticed the balance (prior to my account being locked). They locked me out of the account after they began taking payments. I called financial aid, only for the incredibly condescending and rude woman to tell me that an online payment plan doesn't count! So, they're taking money out of my account and not applying it towards anything because I didn't actually speak with someone. After sitting on hold for about 10 minutes to speak with a supervisor, their phones all of a sudden have "issues" and don't allow transfers. I've been waiting for a considerable amount of time for a "supervisor" to call me back when it was promised quite a bit of time ago. These scam artists aren't getting anymore of my money. I'll be withdrawing from classes and enrolling in a real institution."

"So overall this school helped me gain the knowledge I needed to know. They took criticism from the students throughout the course and revamped the program. Their is a weekly seminar and test are now taken with a lock down browser to prevent cheating or looking up answers. The weekly seminars help go over the content you are learning for the week. Most of the instructors are very responsive to e-mails or phone calls. The instructors were more than willing to answer any questions you need and to talk you through a problem you were having."

"The Purdue Global Excel Track program was the perfect way for me to finally complete my degree. I moved through two years of classes in just 15 months. The classes and assignments were challenging but manageable. I was able to vary my class load based on my work and home needs, taking less classes during the months where work is busier and more in the slower months. I’m extremely happy with my decision to attend PG and excited to finally earn my degree."

"I have now completed both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree with Purdue Global. The courses prepare you with a base line of knowledge in the criminal justice field. The courses at the Master's Level are definitely more focused on conducting applied research. I am active duty military and tuition assistance covered every penny of my Bachelor's degree. The Master's degree was a different story with TA covering $850 a class and me covering the other $850. All books for the Bachelors were digital and included with the class. The books for the Master's ranged from $50 to $200 depending on the topic and unfortunately I attended during several class revisions which led to incorrect syllabus information and the wrong books being ordered from the provided library. Course work is tough. This is a college not high school and it is online which means you are expected to conduct yourself as an adult and stay on track. The reviews I have read seem to be complaints about work load and time. People this is the adult world. I started college after 16 years in the career field and this program is perfect. The only complaint I have is the financial services. On 6 separate occasions over 3 years I was blocked from classes or received e-mails stating I was missing something from my documents to start a class. Every time the document was uploaded and pending review or the instructions I was given by one financial aide consultant contradicted the second interaction and caused a delay. Once all complete I took on $19,000 in student loans to complete the Master's in a year and a half. Highly recommend this school!!"

"I felt it was extremely important to return to this site and review Purdue Global after graduating this June. For 12 years I left myself hanging with an Associates Degree and most of a B.S. I entered the workforce and forged ahead, made a family, bought a home, etc. I found that I had hit a wall when being asked why I have not finished by B.S. and this pressure resulted in researching different online universities to attend. Ultimately, I chose PG because they carried my program and my credits transferred in very nicely. In fact, I only needed to complete the core requirements. This meant that I would be in school for under a year to finish this degree. From beginning to end I received an abundance of support from my academic advisor. I was worried about this because part of the reason for not successfully completing my B.S. prior to this was the lack of help from an advisor at my local university. The financial aid department was great and I never had any issues with payment. They were very flexible with receiving the portion of my tuition which I was responsible for outside of financial aid. I have had several calls with admissions about pursuing a Graduation program and they have been very helpful. The entire process is very transparent. I found nothing misleading about tuition and fees. Now to address the caliber of instruction. It was excellent. All of my professors were experts in the topic matter, extremely supportive and responsive. The curriculum was very relevant and contributed to a holistic working knowledge. The work took a lot of drive, dedication and required research and a whole lot of writing. It was quiet intense. However, with good planning, it was manageable. Very clear expectations were set and grades were always in line with those expectations. I truly love this university and am very hopeful to return shortly to begin my Graduate program."

"Great school. I happy I made the right decision, even though other schools cost way less. My previous degree was from Strayer University. Although a good school, I always felt like I needed more in-depth and some face-to-face instructions as well. Purdue University Global's seminar format was a great way to get in touch with the instructions and fellow students at least on a weekly basis. I also enjoyed the online format particular to Purdue quite a bit After my Master's earlier this year, I was proud to put Purdue University Global on my resume and have a recruiter comment, "Wow! Purdue". Yes, Purdue all the way!!!"

"It seems as though their is a mixed sense of feelings for this program. I'm uncertain of what other's have experienced, but I can say that I started my degree back in September of 2018. I've been able to maintain a 4.0 while doing a 1.5 hour commute everyday along with full-time work. The advisors have always been helpful, although they could be better on sharing information on accelerated degree programs. Otherwise, every educator I've had, while stringent in their expectations, have given every tool to succeed. This school has shown me the importance of time put into completing work and planning for assignments. I'd say that Purdue Global is the best thing to ever happen to me! I'll be graduating in September of 2020, and will be rolling immediately into the Masters of Healthcare Administration in September 2020 as well. Thanks for all your support and guidance during this process! Can't wait to finish up this Master's in December of 2021!!!"

"I have had an excellent experience with Purdue Global. I was able to transfer previous college credit. They use this quarter credit hour system that lowers their advertised per credit hour rate but requires 180 hours, as compared to 120 hours for a bachelors degree. This is the only negative that I have to say about Purdue Global. The only reason to use this type of system is to give the false impression of reduced cost. Cost was a major factor for me completing my education. I was not fooled, however, the uniformed could be mislead about the actual cost. Besides this marketing trick, I was completely pleased with the programs and facility. I would highly recommend to any who are self motivated and willing to work."

"I recently graduated from Purdue University Global. The degree challenges you to research, learn then prove what you know. There is an emphasis on detail and following directions. The course work was up to date and focused on real word situations & featured labs that allowed me to work on virtual machines for hands on experience. Of course nothing is perfect, I have had instructors that don't push and challenge as hard as others and some that one could argue is too tough but most are reasonable and work to see you thrive without handing students degrees they haven't earned. If you are responsible and willing to work hard this is a good school and a good program for you."
