"Krannert School of Management provides a diverse, challenging and fast-paced environment that is unique to any other university. Throughout graduate school, I have been stretched to think like a manager and to take on more responsibility than I have ever held. The MSHRM program is strategically paired with the MBA program, allowing me to maintain a big picture perspective while learning the specific skills for the field of human resources. The professional development staff provides excellent support in preparing for interviews and connecting with employers. I highly recommend Krannert to anyone who is passionate about the field of HR and is ready to grow!"

"The faculty are excellent, but the students are often ill-prepared, often making class discussion of little value. The funding offers for PhD students are quite good in comparison with other schools in the Midwest in more expensive cities. The program could offer more by way of professionalization and career support, but overall Purdue's PhD program is worthwhile."

"The Purdue Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology program is dedicated to taking care of its students. There are plenty of funding opportunities, including TA and RA positions. Probably the only downside is that we do not have departmental get-togethers, so it can be difficult to meet new people."

"Most professors make sure that students have sufficient funding for the duration of their stay, which is incredibly helpful. The faculty and staff are helpful and kind, and there are a lot of valuable courses offered. The paperwork that is required to graduate is a little cumbersome, but they are working on revising the system to make it simpler. It just seems like no matter how hard they try to simplify it, it will be complicated. The surrounding area is typical suburbia. A lot of surrounding cornfields, too. However, Indianapolis is only 1 hour away, and Chicago is just a few hours north. Overall it's not too bad. I went to Mammoth Caves in Kentucky one January. Still need to visit Turkey Run and the Dunes."

"In my batch, the ratio of international students was so high. It has both pros and cons. Pros are tremendous chance to learn in diverse background. Cons are the career service could not cover the needs of those students; they must have disadvantages through job search due to visa issues, and some of them may have other difficulties such as language or custom issues."

"Purdue is very competitive with a very diverse environment giving to great team building and leadership experiences. It has a strong network with a few who don't remember that they once were at Krannert. The professors are great overall and class material is good. Some classes are not structured to get the most out of them but overall it is a great program. Campus has a fun environment with great sport traditions and a community feeling."

"My graduate program in Agricultural Economics is well rounded and has a knowledgeable faculty and staff. They are always willing to help and discuss any issues that I am facing. I feel that it is a program that will help me reach my goals as an entrepreneur. However, a job as a Graduate Assistant is not enough to meet all living expenses while paying school fees like technology as well as school supplies."

"The faculty, faculty support, funding opportunities, and collaborative culture are incredible strengths. The job opportunities and job placement rates for the Ag Econ Department are also superb. The only con is it's a difficult work load at times and expectations are high but there is support and encouragement along the way. Very glad I came here!"

"My graduate program is excellent for students who are absolutely sure they know what they want to do with their lives, but less so for students still testing the waters. Earth, Atmospheric, and Planetary sciences is a demanding department with very helpful staff. The professors, though, seem to honor their research before teaching. The area surrounding Purdue is lively during the summer, but during the winter months, scrabble, bowling leagues, and food are the main entertainment."

"Purdue University, Krannert School of Management has the leading business program which is valued highly by many industrial companies in the United States and other countries. The school emphasize the quality of program and employment rate of graduates. Also the program itself is composed of a diverse international student body. As an international student at Krannert School of Management, I feel so confident and balanced to study and learn with others. Once you get here, you feel the importance and essence of diversity more than ever. The school has a main principle that you are here to leverage your knowledge, education and experience by yourself. Thus, being truthful to yourself and to others is very important and is a key to build a trust between you and others. The career management center supports all students with all available ways to succeed further. You will feel it once you are admitted. There are many great things about this program and you should come here to explore them."

"Purdue University's Pharmacy School is ranked in the top 10 pharmacy school. Every year, only 150 students are accepted into the program after reviewing about 1100 applications. The graduate program is very competitive but the education is first class. The tuition and cost are reasonable but not a lot of financial aid is given that isn't loans."
