Before I start my review; I want to mention some key points: I graduate in September, I have a 3.9 GPA, and this is not my first time attending an online college or obtaining a degree. There seems to be a misconception on these reviews that any student who has had a less than stellar experience must be doing poorly or not familiar with a virtual school setting. With that being said, if you are looking for a career change with quality education, then I recommend you look into another institution.... Read More

Horrible school. I was lied to about home much tuition costs and dropped out because of the price but I had dropped out too late and was told some money would be taken from my loans and the rest would be returned and I was fine with that but they never took money out and my money hasnt been returned yet but Rasmussen college also wants 600 dollars from me because they didnt take it from the loan.

I have to say their career advisors knows how to sell a dream like a car salesman except they gave no warranties. I earned an associate degree in criminal justice with the hope of getting better jobs. However after graduation I found it is harder than the advisors made sound like. Then I decided to go for my BS in CJ. Prior to starting their " accelerate " program I changed my mind and let the advisor know and was told as long as I didn't sign into any of my online courses I will be charge any fees,... Read More

Rasmussen is organized and the instructors are fantastic. The on-line format requires students to engage with other students, to engage with their instructors and read feedback for completed assignments. The library is well staffed and the personnel are helpful. If you are committed and mature and understand that your success depends on your level of interaction then you will have a good experience, however, it is not easy - if you are a slacker and don't take classes seriously and don't take the... Criminal Justice at Rasmussen failed to develop any credibility in the field here in Minnesota. When i discovered this I confronted the Rasmussen staff and was expelled! I transferred to another private non profit with educational credibility completed Bachelor of Arts in Communications, now employed by the Federal Government Rasmussen a waste of time and money!

The classroom instruction is ok but the supporting office is terrible. Nobody knows what's going on. If you want an education I recommend seeking it elsewhere. They fail to deliver proper student support. Attending this school was the most stressful experience I've had since I went back to school.

I decided to go with Rasmussen because they are regionally accredited and provide online. They care about you here unlike other colleges I've talked to. Teachers are very easy to get a hold of and are knowledgeable in that field. Also they don't treat you like a student they treat you like family. At least that's how I feel. So far I feel I've made one of the best choices in my life.

Great school, great staff. The online experience is pleasant and rewarding. I actually learned while attending this school, more than I can say for the school I am currently attending. The staff is professional, and they maximize your student loans in order to get you the best education they possibly can. I highly recommend Rasmussen College.
