"It is March 2022 and they are STILL not back in classroom. All classes are online. They say it is because of Covid. Every other school in FL has been back for months to in person learning. Even the office personnel work from home. It’s ridiculous! After 3 quarters, I withdrew, transferred to another university, and none of my nursing credits transferred. As of right now, they still have no idea when it will be “safe” to return to campus."

"Have to say I enjoyed my experience at Rasmussen college, especially compared to what I hear about other institutions. Classes had varying degrees of difficulty, but ultimately they prepared me to work as a Registered Nurse and more importantly how to pass my boards. You'll find similar complaints about Rasmussen as any nursing school, as the students seem pretty hard to please, but the success rate for students is pretty high from this school. Being able to enter the program without being placed on a wait list was one of the biggest reasons I entered the program, but it seems that what they offer to students for services has gotten better every year. Overall, I would recommend Rasmussen if you are looking to get into a program and start working as soon as possible."

"I have no positive reviews for the school. My campus was in the Tampa Bay area. Teachers literally do the minimum and are getting paid for it, it's horrible. You will meet a few that genuinely care and want you to succeed but it's rare. Instructors are mostly just there for the extra money and you will have to learn literally most of the content yourself. If you have questions, even if the something is unclear, you will likely be told to read the unclear instructions again...it's almost comical. I cannot recommend to school to anyone. While I made it through, it was a headache and can most definitely be better. As others have said, they do not care. It's a typical for profit school. 40k for a self-taught degree...if you make it through this program, you can do anything, seriously."

"Very peters worst teacher. Left students most if the time discussing their discussions and only got back to discuss their discusions. No power point, no objectives, no study guide, no professionalism. Hope college does not looses their credentials and the students lose their rught to graduate. Please help the students to retake the test."

"Rasmussen is a great nursing program. They are creating nurses that can think on their feet. They are giving all the necessary information that a nurse needs to begin their career and the students are eager to learn more in their career. All nurses should start at Rasmussen."

"Go somewhere else!!! I completed my degree here and would not recommend this institution. Poorly managed and run. Disorganized. They will call and email you for tuition money starting the second week of school, but will not notify the BON of your graduation until many weeks have passed. Go somewhere else!!! A few good instructors, last minute scheduling changes, due to lack of organization. Very frustrating experience, not worth the cost. Go somewhere else!!! You have other, better choices in town and regionally, select one of them instead. I promise you, you will be sorry if you select this school"

"I chose the school for the accelerated option and first semester was complete bullshit. All classes were online and being taught at other campuses so we had to attend class at our campus to watch online class at another campus, one of my classes the teacher quit half way through. At the end of the quarter came to find I failed one class that half of my class had also failed. We all appealed to the advisors due to the lack of teaching and different content on the tests that werent covered in lecture. Came to find out everyone else (4 others) had their appeals granted and I did not get my appeal granted so I took it higher, I got denied yet again. And now it was too late to drop out of second quarter because they were not timely about such time sensitive matters causing me to pay for the second quarter even after I withdrew from the program. How the heck are you going to grant appeals for every other student that failed the same class as me and then deny mine?! I was livid and to have to pay for the second quarter because it was past the withdraw date because the administration took too long to review my appeal. This school only sees students as a cash cow, they cant retain quality instructors, they do not listen to students concerns or issues they throw it back on you, they are not quick to make time sensitive decisions. Its all a scam. Beware of this school because they do not do their due diligence to provide quality instructors for such an important degree. Needless to say I dropped out and currently going to school somewhere else."

"I am enrolled in the accelerated BSN program. This is not a program for everyone! Nursing school is difficult. Realize the work and sacrifice needed BEFORE you enter school. Rasmussen provides an excellent opportunity to get a degree that will be recognized by employers. They will prepare you to PASS the NCLEX, most schools prepare you to take the NCLEX. I have had a great experience so far. To succeed you must be a dedicated student, you must do all readings and assignments ON TIME. You are learning to become a professional nurse. Being a nurse is a serious job, you should take your school work serious. Too many students complaining about this or that, they complainers just need to grow up, this isn't high school. This school will prepare you if you are willing to sacrifice and work hard! If something is worth doing, it is worth doing well. Most of the complaints are from people not ready to grow up and become professionals, and in 5 years time they still will not achieve their goals but probably will still be complaining about something. Rasmussen is a great opportunity for those willing to do what it takes. I am glad I selected Rasmussen Nursing."

"I hate to read all of the negative comments about the nursing program because I have had a great experience. It is difficult and accelerated, mostly if doing the A-BSN. It's doable but students need to take responsibility for the work. The 78% test average is also doable if you keep up with homework, lecture and readings. Every school is going to have their issues but I have had a great experience and all of my teachers were very supportive!"

"I am so glad I read the reviews on Rasmussen. I have been to other University's and I have NEVER seen a school like this one. The staff is so rude and truely does not care about the students. I have a disability and have asked for assistance and my requests were denied. I was treated so poorly. I have filed a complaint with the ADA. The nursing coordinator is a joke! I swear the TEAS test is rigged somehow. I have been in the medical field for 15 years and have many medical connections. They (hospital and clinic HR) state they do not have anything good to say about the "Nurses" that are pumped out of here. My advise, and as everyone can clearly see, DO NOT give this school your money. There are so many good schools out there. And this institution is not one of them. They really need to be investigated by the school board. It's a sham!"

"Rasmussen offers an accelerated BSN nursing program. This is great for students who want to pursue their BSN within a few years, it is a rigorous program but I would recommend this school to anyone wishing to transition into their career on a fast track with a great education."
