"Okay, I read all these reviews after I was already enrolled at the Garland campus and I thought to myself what did I get into but, I experienced the opposite. Too clear up a lot of these reviews so the amount of money that was not covered by loans, grants etc (which is not much for most unless you make a lot of money) you start making monthly payments on while in school. The minimum amount that is owed must be paid which was 38 a month for me but you can pay more. When you graduate the remainder that you owe the school can be paid in full, paid monthly, paid weekly or however you want. They hold your diploma til you pay and if you need it verified for an employer they give you they link of how to get to it. Another review I read was that no one helped after graduation and I can’t speak about other campuses but garland campus which Christi Koehler is over is not at all unfair at all. Immediately after I graduated she reached out and I was taking a week to relax after work so I didn’t respond for a week and I got a reply almost immediately. She then explained I needed to come do my exit folder and if you don’t show up that is your own fault. Then she sends jobs that have openings and you have to respond back with which ones you would be opened to working at. You do Not get a free job with your diploma without lifting a finger. If you don’t respond to her she isn’t going to email everyday trying to get you to or send out your resume everyday to every job posting even though you haven’t talked to her and you expect just to get calls from employers randomly. If you don’t show up to interviews or if your late again that is not Remingtons fault because you thought if you graduated you were guaranteed a job or you get you money back. Another review stated that the teachers all want you to fail and that is a load of crap. Some of the teachers I had were in other states and your taking the whole course online and the other half are here and you go to lab once a week. The out of state teachers may have different time zones so if you email at one time and they are ahead of us and asleep of course your not getting a reply that night. Every single teacher I had at Remington were awesome. They went above and beyond what they had to do to help you. Like mr. Craig he will do anything to try to prepare you for your exam and give you print outs honestly anything you need he will help. Dr. Molnar and her husband Dr. Ahmadi are both teachers and they both are amazing. Dr. Molnar has had to have spent an incredible amount of her time not at work researching the RMA exam and taking prep tests so she can make us study guides and going through quizlet flash cards to make sure all the info is correct and goes over it every week with us. She is constantly trying to figure out what else she can do to help us do better they both are. CONCLUSION: Garland campus has nothing but faculty that will help you with everything and anything if you want help. No you don’t get to cheat through school graduate and get handed a job. And no they are not all about money. They would like to be paid the amount owed to them but it’s not sprung on you and they do work with you. So honestly if you want to actually go to school and try then remington is a great choice of school but if you want to get the diploma without actually having to learn anything or try then no your probably not going to graduate or not going to get hired anywhere."

"This school is horrible they are doing bad things to their students ms latecia is very rude and she used her amount of years she been there and saying like nobody will believe us. She pretends like she care then down u saying she will make u owe all this money but withdrawing u. She always put it like she better than us and like she is so untouchable but I know someone somewhere in corporate cares and hopefully they see her for who she is I will never go back here I have warned so many people about this school please run far. Nobody care but Ms Pam she is the sweetest lady ever I only learned from her smh instructors wouldn’t show up to teach nobody tells us anything all this for over 20,000 of debt. Latecia needs to be fired anytime u use the system for personal use is terrible she is very evil please do not go there I am looking for an attorney or someone to help me and y’all who experience the same r even worse"

"This school is the worst most of the staff are very negative towards the students. They will stand in your face and tell u they will and can pull the plug on you and u will have to pay all the money back for nothing. The lady that’s over medical assistant is very rude she always say she been there for years and can make u get dropped"

"Seems like everyone is unhappy. And bitter. I made a work for me. Yes one or more of my teachers suck but most of them did care and I did gain knowledge. I did get hired as a M/A right after graduation. Some things you can only learn by actually doing them. I love being a M/A and am excited about furthering my career. If you really do not love this type of work it will not work for you."

"DO NOT GO HERE!!!! BEWARE!! Extremely expensive tuition leaving every student in long-term student debt. There is a low grade quality education. Instructors give you ALL the answers to the tests and quizzes prior to taking them, and if not it's all open-book. You will graduate with a salary expectation of making a few dollars more than your local McDonald's employee. The instructor turn-over rate is exceedingly high as 1 leaves at least every month! Rules change daily with many gray areas! Finance department has no working business model and no standard operating procedures! They NEVER know when you will get paid or where your money is even located!!!! Worst institution EVER!"

"I feel like I learned more in my high school medical studies than I did at Remington. I EASILY maintained a 4.0 in my year at the school. After graduation and externship the lies and deception started showing heavily. I did the course with EKG/X-ray. Every place I went to in a 20 mile radius of my location said I was not qualified for positions at their office(I would need more school) Basically certificate was just a piece of paper. The career placement staff kept sending me job leads that were 1 hr drive away in no traffic. Any job leads i had were minimum wage which is hard to take because my current job was paying way more than that. Long story short this school is a joke!"

"I graduated in 2011 from Remington in Southeast Houston and I work for a big time hospital with great pay. I read some of the reviews and honestly all these people sound lazy. First of all, you have to put yourself out there and find yourself a job. They can not guarantee you a job that is what your supposed to make an effort in doing. Just like any college, your not going to graduate and find your dream job right away. I took a low pay job because I was a student with no experience and now 5 yrs later I became successful at what I do and kept thriving forward. That is how you become something of yourself with your degree. Now I am going back for nuclear medicine. So if your expecting to graduate, get a high paying job and expect them to get you a job then don't bother here. If your willing to make efforts and help yourself become successful then apply and best of luck to you. Once you graduate take what job offers you can in the position and get the experience you will need to become successful. Basically don't be lazy!"

"I attended the same school and same program at the Dallas (Garland) Campus. All they care about is money. Many of the people who went to school with had no business being there. The medical field is very professionally based and employers are not going to hire people with facial tattoos who are unable to read and write in English. I was the only one in my class to graduate on the Dean's List and pass the National Certification Exam. After graduation I learned one of my instructors was NOT an RN after months of her telling us she was one. No one at the school would talk about this. This school is NOT VETERAN FRIENDLY. I literally had to BEG the president of the school in order to have access to my VA benefits after being promised when I registered for MA classes. The career placement services is a joke. The ONLY REASON I was able to find a job is because of getting a business suit and literally walking door to door in a medical office building handing out heavy paper printed professionally done resumes. If you are seriously wanting to get into the medical field AVOID this school and go to a community college. There's a reason there is so many horrible reviews of Remington College."

"Lets just say at the beginning everyone is helpful. But once your in you're pretty much screwed! I went to school here at the end the last month you go on externship to a location. But before you can go your account you pay the school every month.Has to be a balance of zero. They told me mine was a balance of zero. Finish my externship but I got sick found out my brain was swollen and i was having seizures. Because I was having memory loss and bad headaches. So when I took care of that got myself on meds I had already missed graduation so i was bummed out. I was ready to grad out get my diploma. Then they tell me i owed them 4,000 dollars. Im sorry but I don't just have that kind money laying around. But if you do well lucky you. Anyways that is aside of what I owe the company who let me borrow money to go to school. which is 15k. If you're paying cash it will work for you. Most of the teachers are actually cool. The Financial Aid is only one lady who is always in a bad mood. Never is really helpful when you ask for help she just blows you off. I still don't have a job in what i studied for. All places ask for at leaf 2 years of experience. Career people actually try to help. Like I said this school will only work for you if you pay full on cash. if not I would'nt even give it a try."

"Being the first in my family to attend college and persue my education, I was excited. I wanted to attend a well know school and a school near my home. I saw commercials about Remington, so I thought that was a good choice. Fast Forward. During my 8-9 months at Remington I felt used for money and cheated out of learning what I needed to know to obtain a job. Remington offered G.E.D classes, but they were poorly taught. Half of the time we stood outside a classroom to a locked door not knowing what class we were in. Several teachers were quiting or being fired. I was so close to graduration, but I was not comfortable or mentally fullfilled with anything I did learn. Remington enrolled more younger students that were so immature, always fighting and not totally focused why they were there. I was tempted to leave the school because of the unorganization and care for the students. I did graduate only, because another student saw how dissapointed I was and told me to finish and take what ever I learned. So, I graduated with "NO" G.E.D and very unfullfilled."

"After three months of graduation, I still have not received my honor cords ( due to walk with at graduation) ms till have not gotten my certificate and still have not been scheduled for state certification testing as promised upon registration. I have not gotten any assistance in finding a job or even getting an interview. Not sure why they make all the promises and have not followed through with anything expect taking my money. Go to a real college. Please"

"This was indeed the worst school anyone could ever attend their higher than most school. The staff treat you like your still attending grade school. they scream at you as if you was there child. We are using a program called moodle and one of my teachers do not know how to even open the program. She told the class she didn't know how so we were all going to pass her class. I didn't like that because I actually wanted to learn the material. I do not recommend this school to anybody this is your warning. They do not transfer credit. most jobs donot hire anyone with a Remington diploma."

"I graduated the MA program in 2006 with a zero balance for my tuition. Now 7 years later I go to the campus to get my original transcript and they said I owe them money. Now I have obtained my original transcript before in 2008 with no issues. Why didnt I hqve issues, because I dont owe them money. Now today, out of the blue I owe tgem $300 and cant get my transcript until i pay it. They gave me a number to call the campus in Littlre Rock because tge person there handles the financial issues. A guy called me this morning and was very rude. He says he talked to me in 2006 (really?) and i agreed to pay the money. He also said if i didnt speak to him nicely he wouldnt send me anything showing i owe the money. I asked him again when did he speak to me about this and he says I have answered that already. He continued to call me lady and telling me to shut up because he was talking. So whrn I decided to speak he told me he was ending the call and hung up. This man is very unprodfesional and I am going to see how to file a complaint against them. I do not owe them money and its horrible how they can all of a sudden say you do and if you don't have receipts from 7 years ago then you in trouble."
