"Waste of my time and money. They told me we would always be able to come back and be a ghost student to learn things we may have forgotten. I never passed the state exam, I still owe every penny of the student loan. I feel trapped. Never got a degree, never worked in billing or coding. I no am a government employee now. I wish I would’ve went for that first."

"I joined the Houston-Greenspoint Campus in 2010. My instructor was excellent but none of it was useful. 10 years later, Ive never able to get a job in that field, also with no help with getting one. My spanish classmates was able to get a job, with the help of the recruiter. I graduated and still owe debt 13,000 plus, even though I've never gotten to benefit from it. Save yourself some money and go to Hcc its not worth it."

"I attended the Little Rock, Arkansas campus majoring in their Medical Billing and Coding program. My experience was not a positive one.My classmates were rude to other students and certain teachers.One teacher was knowledgeable about MIC but boasted constantly of his income and told us he was" always right even when he was wrong". In the end I ended up with a worthless diploma in medical billing and coding. Because most places wanted candidates that had at least two years coding experience. Many of my ex classmates were sent to job interviews but hardly any were hired from my understanding. That job placement Remington promoted just was not true for many of us. It is 2019 and I still have a student debt. The original student loan debt was 13,000.If you miss payments your credit score will go down! I recommend going to a community college, apply for FASFA(federal financial aide for students), and forget these for profit schools because the time and energy could be used elsewhere better."

"I went to Remington a while back, and it was the. Ingest mistake!! Right when you start the process they make you think that its the best and once your done, youll graduate making all this money in a professional environment. Its all bs, and nobody would hire me and didnt even ask acknowledge Remongton. After I graduated I was just left to pay all this money for no reason at all. I got nothing out of it and didnt even learn to code. Today Im doing fine, I have my own business. Remington was a joke, waste of time and 20k. I hope they get sued big time and return my money. I ADVISE YOU NOT TO GO TO REMINGTON, Its all BS!!!"

"The enrollment department made a huge show of how great their program was, instructors that love their jobs, all the great money I was going to make out of the gate, etc. I never should have listened, I'm actually a little embarrassed how much I believed their crap. $16k for the program, first of all, and I'm not even making that annually right now. Most of these entry level jobs pay less than retail and NO ONE recognizes my education w/Remington. I actually had an employer LAUGH IN MY FACE when I mentioned I completed the program w/full honors. They were probably right to, as I found out quickly that the curriculum was HIGHLY outdated and I know less than half of the things I need to work in my field. Things on my certification exams were never even touched on in class, and I had A's in every class so I know I didn't just miss something. Some instructors were great but I actually had one that spent the entirety of a month long course complaining about her ex. We spent a full 25 minutes on the coursework. Pathetic. Don't bother trying to get in touch with their "amazing" career services they go on and on about. All but one of my emails has gone unanswered and it's impossible to get them by phone. They don't help me w/my resume or interview tips now that I've graduated. They seem mostly just to be there for show so that new students think they're getting something "extra" that other schools don't offer. If all that wasn't bad enough, I requested disability accommodations multiple times. There was no confusion on whether or not I actually had a disability; I was pretty obviously physically disabled for the entire program and had multiple doctors notes to prove it. And yet they denied my requests, said everything would be taken care of. Well, long story short, it wasn't."

"It was not a good experience, I had previously been working in the field 7 years prior to attending. I pasted my test but it was not because of the school. 3 out of 25 pasted. Now some of my friends are stuck with a very high loan and no certificate and no job."

"The price for the rudimentary crash course in coding is outrageous. The fact is most places will not let you code with no real world experience. I work as front office staff at a medical practice making better money that I ever have, and for that I am thankful, but it's not worth the massive amount of debt I am now in. A diploma or even the CPC certification they talk about the entire program, is just not necessary to be a coder, though it looks pretty on your resume. The curriculum is not devoted solely to coding, a vast majority of class is spent on learning how to manipulate EMR systems and practice managing software. That will come in handy for your entry level position, but the coding portion is not extensive enough to actually be considered worthwhile coding experience. That being said I was top of the class and still failed the CPC exam by 6 points. After classes ended I had to stay on career services for a month before they sent me any job leads because they had "no contacts" in the area I live, I live in a suburb of the DFW metroplex, so don't give me that. It is not a horrible school, but if you are going to pay that much money for education pay it to an accredited college whose credits are transferable, because now I'm 15k in debt, with a piece of paper that means a lot of nothing. I am going to continue my education at an accredited University, because all Remington really prepares you for is an entry level position."

"Don't wast your time and money Please!!!!!. I was a 4.0 student at Remington College and this Diploma has not helped me get a job. I thought learning a skill would help me to get a job making more money so i could provide for myself after a divorce.This was so far from the truth. All I did was make my life harder and stress full . I've only been on one job interview that career services set up. It was for a part-time position and they said they could get a temp to do the job. The commercials make you feel like school is the way to achieve your goals. But that's not true. I have two daughters who have been to other schools and haven't found jobs either. They want experience not a diploma.One woman i know got certified in her field at Virginia college and still has not found a job. So Please do not be fooled by the hype save your money go to a real school and take something like computers or criminal Justice at least some of those have found jobs.Medical is about skills . You can't show your skills if no one will hire you. I' m working a part-time job and I have billing experience but no coding except in school.There was not a coder on my ex-tern the coder was working for them out of New Orleans. Even though I did excellent on my ex-tern i didn't have a chance. They needed a Medical Assistant. I am struggling paying a mortgage on 29 hours a week and can not get a job in the Medical field. I have so many applications out I am welling to take anything that will pay my bills. The teacher also had her favorites. They tell you you can't code just because you have a A that doesn't mean your a good coder . Really!!! seams to me something is wrong when a school has A and B students who can't code. My reason for going to school was to get a good paying job and learn a skill to improve my life . Not to get in debt for nothing."

"Remington withheld Billing & Coding instruction for the LAST week -LAST semester in their program and then offered only the Coding THEY felt the students MAY encounter. (There was a crash course in this part and no time left to cover any more.) In addition Remington made misleading & fraudulent claims and promises. This college is obviously out for the money and obviously target desperately vulnerable people. My education there did not in Billing & Coding but, instead, an education in getting SUCKERED! I was a straight A student who seriously attended all classes with honors and never found a single job offer. Today I remember none of what little I was taught in B & C, unable to pay the loan (which is in default and triple what the original cost of the 'course'. I am ruined, Thank You Remington."

"I didnt learn anything from this experience other than to never trust a recruiter..never got a job. They said they would help me find a job in my area but kept trying to send me job opportunities miles away. I would ask questions and the teachers didnt know the answers. They did very little to try to answer them. BIG waist of my time but most importantly my money. Very costly mistake..VERY costly. They said if you missed during the day you could come at night but they werent even on the same chapter. One teacher was really good, Mr Newburn, but the other 3 were horrible. Sure wish i could remember their names but they either read the book word for word as if we couldnt do that on our own, taught us nothing but abbreviations, or goofed off the whole time. I RECOMMEND YOU RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL LOL 4REAL!!!"

"Please please do not attend Remington College, they are in it to make money off of you they have no interest in your education at all. Please be on the look for a CSR named Avernique at Remington Greenspoint in Houston she is the absolute worst. She talks down to certain students and belittles them behind their backs. Please avoid Remington College!!!!!!"

"School was fine but the problem is I passed my CPC exam on the first try and no one will hire die to a lack of coding experience. It turns out my Remington diploma means NOTHING to employers. I am having to go back to school now because I can't get a job as a CPC-A. People DON'T DO IT. YOU WILL BE SORRY if you waste your time like this and still have to pay back a loan with no job or even a hope of having a coding job. Now I have to go back to school and get the kind of education employers will take seriously."
