"RIT is a great school for those we love to study and work hard. I am in the mechanical engineering technology program at RIT and I love it. The teachers are great and are classes are so hands on. This is what really drew me to the M.E. tech program. The class sizes are much smaller than that of the M.E's. I feel a much closer bond with my teachers as well as fellow classmates. I would have to say my least favorite part about RIT has to be it's miserable winters which seem to never end. Another great thing about RIT is all the clubs and activities. There are plenty of club and intramural activities, which all are very easy to join. Academically RIT is amazing, especially if you are planning to study something within the field of science or technology. They also have a really good photography program as well. I would recommend RIT for those who are strong willed, hardworking, and success driven. If you are not sure whether college is for you, I might recommend some place else. RIT keeps students very busy with work and partying is certainly not as common as it is at other schools. However, parties do happen and sometimes they can be fun! The other great thing about RIT, that kind of makes up for the lack of parties, is the fact that you will meet some insanely interesting and diverse people. People come from all around the country to go to RIT. There is also such a wide range of majors offered at RIT that you are bound to meet people with many different interests and personalities. There really isn't a stereotypical RIT students, because everyone is really quite different. So far RIT has been great for me, and I know it will really pay off in the future. GO TIGERS!"
