Student & Graduate Reviews

"One of the worst colleges on the planet. Be very aware that this school uses an automated platform in which the so-called "instructor" of the class is actually a facilitator of electronic paperwork and shows little to no knowledge of the subject matter, including an inability to write and communicate clearly. Grading is absurd and based on a private "country club" concept. Do nto expect any cooperation/acknowledgement from deans or the administration. This is truly 21st century academic fraud."

"I really really love this school and this program! I have been through two different degree programs prior to coming to SNHU but nothing seem to fit MY schedule as well as support my finance needs, until I came here. I must admit, you will have some sleepless nights and weekends but communication with professors make it easier to complete class assignments. I would definitely recommend this program, as a single mother, working full time as well as a second job, I was still able to manage my time / assignments, graduating June 2017."

"I normally don't write reviews, but I hope my review will be helpful to someone who is considering attending this school. I have had a wonderful experience with this school. I was in a psychology program and majority of my teachers were helpful and gave good feedback. Online classes is not for everyone. There is a lot of reading, essay writing, and discussion boards which you have to make four post each week. I had one issue with this school that made me very angry. Towards the end of my program I was told that some classes from a previous school I attended, were duplicate courses. I just wish that they caught it sooner, because I had to do two extra semesters in order to graduate (The school did give me a full scholarship to take the additional courses, which was nice). I have been asked many times if I would recommend SNHU to other students, and yes I would definitely recommend this school to other people. I know that my experience will be different from other students. But I am grateful that my experience here has been good. This school has helped me in landing a great job and I'm not ashamed to say that I graduated from SNHU. In previous years I attended U.O.P (Axia online) and when I went on interviews and mentioned the school, employers would just laugh in my face. So I know what it feels like to attend a (For-profit) school that people frown upon. I have not had that experience when mentioning that I graduated from SNHU. In fact it has worked in my favor and has so far been a great experience for me."

"SNHU for me was an excellent University which I feel proud off. I did their online program and all the teachers were knowledgeable of the subject, reply to any concern right on time. My advisors were always supportive and always aware of my classes. Unfortunately, people tend to judge school by name or fame, but that is not what is really important. When those famous schools started, were not known either. People are the ones that makes a school or business well known for their excellent job. I personally believe that SNHU is a great school that offers many programs that will provide you the education and knowledge for the real world life."

"DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON SNHU! This school is terrible. They have ripped me off and no one will even email me back about a refund. I could not access basic tools on their site to even do my homework. The professors do not reply back and if they do, it is unhelpful and irrelevant. The website is not user friendly and they have links up that they do not use anymore. This school is the worst school ever."

"I had a situation where my instructor had some discriminating behavior and I shared it with my academic advisor and she was not helpful at all. Actually, she tried to down-play it and make it seem as if I was taking it wrong. My academic advisor and her immediate lead tried to convince me that there was no Dean of Students for the online students and there was basically no one I could talk to. I was informed of this third party on the outside that would look into the matter and that everything had to filled out on paper. As much as I have paid this school in tuition, I should have been able to speak to someone and not blown off being informed about some form. Oh yeah, by the way the academic counselor saw the email the instructor sent to me. The situation was not handled right and I will no longer attend a school that allow such behavior as this."

"I am currently enrolled at SNHU in the psychology program. I have experience with online schools so I was very reluctant to find a good one. I obtained an associate's degree from Kaplan university which was not the best online school. It was inconvenient attending seminars and the teachers were disengaged. I love that SNHU is an actual physical school rather than some made up online college. My advisors have been great and transitioning to the graduate program has been a breeze. I have six months left and I will be done with my bachelors degree. I am very pleased and happy that I decided to enroll at SNHU instead of completing another degree at Kaplan. I recommend the school to everyone who asks about a good online school. Best of all they are accredited and non profit! can't get any better than that!"

"I am 3 terms away from my BA in Psychology. I have attended several other schools after high school, as its taken about 12 years to complete my degree. I find the professors to all be very knowledgeable in their field and can give real world advice/information in most cases. Most of the professors have their doctorate, some are finishing it up. I've had a couple issues come up and after emailing the professor it was easily resolved. They are caring. I have had one advisor change, but that was because I needed a military advisor not just a general one. Anytime I have questions or need help with enrolling or choosing classes she is more than helpful. She has called to check on me, emailed to follow up when I was sick to see if was better, to make sure I got connected to the person I needed that she gave the information for and more. I've never had an issue with her! I've had good luck with financial aid and never a lag or anything on it either. I have recommended this school to others, and I will continue to do so. I enjoy the set up of the classes and how easy it is to see what I need to do and turn in. I've learned quite a bit already, and much that can be related to everyday as well. I've never once felt like a number, but an actual person to them. Call them and check them out."
