"I'm not sure why I see employer reviews on here... it has nothing to do with the quality of the online experience. Notice how most of the reviews complain that after 2016 "there was too much work." Yes, the economy grew expontentially and things really took off for most businesses; including schools! I have been at SNHU for a while now. I'm a part-time student who works a full time job. I also have 3 children, 1 of which is attending UMASS Amherst. SNHU has been nothing short of AMAZING for me. Earlier in 2019, my newborn son was in the hospital awaiting a blood transfusion from extreme jaundice, and my instructor worked with me 100% of the way. She even sent a gift in the mail for the little dude (who is doing so good now), but still gave me real critique and real feedback on my submitted work. She didn't short me because she felt bad; she was a true teacher. However... she's not the only one I felt that from. I have had zero experiences where I felt "shorted" due to my opinions. Imagine writing a pro-2nd Amendment paper in the climate. I did, and it was graded based on the evidence I presented and reasoning to support it. Decent grade, excellent conversations with my peers through discussions, and came away with new knowledge from many different ideas and beliefs. It's not an easy school. It makes you work hard, and think. The instructors are fierce but reasonable. Some are more lenient than others, but as long as you make an effort to be on time and as accurate as possible you'll love it here. A lot of the reviews here are very wishy-washy. The online environment is very easy to learn and it doesn't have any issues (some others mentioned that... I highly doubt they're being truthful) to my knowledge. I've been with them for about 5 years now and I have never had a bad experience. 100% SNHU is the place for you if you want a true "on your own terms, but actually teach me something" type of online school. It definitely takes a LOT of self-discipline... but isn't that part of why you want an education anyway?"

"It's been a long road to getting my Master's degree, but I finally made it. The program wasn't overly interactive, so if you are the type of person who needs that extra personal touch, this might not be the place for you. However, if you are self-motivated like I am, you will find that the experience is quite enjoyable. There was only one course that I dropped out of because it wasn't well organized, but when I took it the second time it was great like all the other courses. My advisor, Mawn, always responded to me within 24 hours and was very helpful any time I had a concern. Instructors for the most part were knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I am very pleased with my experience and wholeheartedly recommend this school to others."

Wasted Time and Money - 2/19/2019

"[Online Student] - Computer Science This college is a waste of time and money. They don't teach you anything. They pawn you off to third party "tutorials", and refuse to help you in any way other then grading assignments. My emails to instructors have been repeatedly ignored. i was told that my apartment flooding, and my computer being damaged, was not a valid excuse for a late assignment. I don't know how this is considered a valid school. Don't waste your time. Go to a trade school, or another college. This is not worth the $45k i am being charged for my degree."

"WARNING - THIS SCHOOL TAKES STUDENTS MONEY - If the professor gives you a bad grade for no reason at all - or if the professor discriminates against you the school will not do anything. They force you to stay in the class and leave with no choice but to withdrawal. They will NOT refund you any money. After 2 weeks they have no refund policy and they advantage of you because of that. They simply do not care. Their advisors are the worst. LOOK at this school's feedback on YELP. Other students are trying to warn others that this school TOOK THEIR MONEY. They took 2K from me and refused to address a racist professor in cyber security. They chose the white professor over an Hispanic. ALL they care about is getting your money. RUN from this school. This just my opinion but apparently other students all have had the same experience. head of advising doesn't care. ST doesn't care. Their dean doesn't care. Director of Advising doesn't care."

"i did not get to attend the school. I was accepted and dealing with transcripts and what-not. When my admission rep enrolled me, he went the process quickly and made no mention that my pell grant was not going to cover all of tuition since the semesters are set up differently than the traditional colleges, therefore, only $500 of the tuition are going to be covered by pell grant, the rest of the tuition $450 plus books were going to be out of pocket every two months (semesters is 2 month long). Admission rep was not attentive at all. I wasted all that time waiting to start in September and now, was told this. Smh. I am glad that I canceled my admission at snhu."

"Absolutely love this college. Made it easy to understand classwork and had flexible timelines for extenuating circumstances. The advisors both academic and financial were incredible to work with and actually cared about me as a person. I would absolutely recommend this college to anyone looking to further their education. Plus, most credits transferred with no headache."

"Low quality education, inexprienced instructors, some of the staff at the international office seem to be very rude, and real costly but the education you get seems to be subpar. They were very eager to accept me here, no surprise considering the admission rate but it was not what I expected."

"My enrollment counselor was really nice but failed to tell me the cost. I accepted my award letter then last week realized that even with my financial aid I had a bill where I owe them money. Out was not a small amount. I explained that I needed a school where I could use financial aid cuz my previous school shouldn't let me. I can't afford to pay out of pocket and I waned an education. This was extremely disappointing. I'm 4 weeks in and the last week trying to decide if it's even worth it anymore. I would stay away or at least do a ton of research first. I prefer to stay away from the Financial services. Also right before financial aid was due to post they told me I needed to get a paper for educational purposes that needed notarized. I can't believe they waited till right before they were to post. Also the form has to be mailed they said they can't post my funds until they get this document. Unfortunately for me I don't have $3 to my name right now post it took me 3 hours to find a notary near me. I'm just saying I guess I was stupid and got excited to start back to school that I ignored warning signs. I think I'm going to go to a community college... Good luck to you and your education!"

"I have previously written a positive review for my undergraduate psychology degree at this University. I have just finished my first master's IT class, IT 505, Core Technologies. The instructor (M. Gallaher) was amazing, and incredibly engaging with his students. He is employed with NASA (yes, SNHU has excellent instructors). The Core Technologies class was an introduction to information technology, and I am looking forward to taking the rest of the courses in the program to graduate with a Master's of Science in Information Technology with a Web Development concentration. If you are looking for a quality education, excellent advisers, and an organized financial aid department, this school has it."

"I attended this school for 4 years and I cannot express my displeasure towards this school enough. They are very inconsistent and have many policies in place that don't make sense. The financial services they provide will go out of their way to try and get extra money from you. This school also does no provide adequate instructors. While there are some good instructors at this school there are more that will not help you in any aspect. It is very clear to me now that the university does not care about the students at all, they are only trying to find as many ways as possible to take more of your money. I sincerely feel bad for anyone who is attending this school, and if you plan on enrolling at Southern New Hampshire University, don't. Avoid this school at all costs."
