"I had an amazing experience with this university! The instructors were top notch, and the financial aid staff and my adviser were amazing. I was very challenged by the classes, and how organized the curriculum was. It was difficult, and at times I thought I might not get through it, but my adviser was always there to vent to, and assist with questions or concerns."

"Very unhelpful staff with out of date technology, and poor course availability for online classes. I am surprised it meets the accreditation standards for colleges, At first glance it looks ok, but the reality is that it felt like a diploma mill or at best a school of low standards."

"Amazing school great labs started of at local abet accredited community college. However, learned more at SNHU then would have dreamed there is help if you try and most classes are not going to give you an easy A so you have to work for it. I have looked at some of the negative reviews I don't see it."

"I love SNHU. My advisers, teachers, and the support staff have been excellent in communicating with me. I enrolled while perusing my AA and they encouraged me to finish my AA out at the same time since I wanted that degree and to walk at my local community college. I highly recommend them to everyone who is busy or broke. Great financial aid offerings for everyone I talked to, and the twice a week check ins online is great!! I post to my DB Thursday and write my paper that is due on Sunday the short courses really help me focus."

"Overall I have had no issues with the school. I'm still attending and have maintained an A average. My advisors really do try to interact but I don't answer the phone cause I don't need assistance. The courses are expensive. 960 a course or 900 range. Overall the blackboard is easy to use. There are times when I try to get on the final day assignments are due and there are issues with the website. I've tried calling the helpdesk but I've never been able to get a hold of anyone. When it comes to assignment grades, especially those you need to know what you got for next week's assignments can be slow receiving. I think it's poor time management for a professor to wait till Thursday or Friday to give you grades."

"I am about one year out from graduating with a degree in American history and a minor in political science. I transferred into SNHU from a college in Arizona. From day one every staff member I have interacted with has been pleasant and helpful. My choice to switch to an online program hinged on my ability to find a school that was "hands on." Not once have I felt neglected. My advisor is wonderful and ensures that I am happy and staying on course. She typically checks in with my three times a term. I like that the courses are accelerated (8 weeks), and that I am able to attend year round, as this fits my lifestyle well. Just as with any college, I have found some professors to be better than others. Overall though, I have been satisfied. As far as the course content, a lot of it is up to you! If you are motivated and dedicated, and throw yourself into really learning the material provided than you can obtain a quality education. Sure, there are "dumb" people able to skim by and are still allowed to pass. However, at the end of the day when the hard worker and the good-off (who both have degrees) are going for a job, who do you think stands out? There are "idiots" in traditional settings at colleges everywhere! The difference is you do not have as much access to their work for comparison like we do in this setting. In short, the online learning community is unique, and much of what you get out of it is what you put into it. I would recommend SNHU online to anyone searching for an alternative avenue. You get the exact same degree as on campus, but with the flexibility of being online. It's not for everyone, but it has worked for me."

"Honestly, I am severely disappointed with the quality of instruction that goes on in the continuing education online department. It is painfully blatant that the instructions have little to no direction over their courses. They are basically there to grade, and that is it. The finals are a joke. Every week you complete a "milestone" to build up to your final project. The classes fail to inspire academic curiosity, and half of the time you are confused about what is going on and how you are suppose to complete your assignments. Do yourself a favor and research State university's who also have adjoined online programs. The very name of SNHU on a degree counts for little these days as it is. Honestly its no better than a for profit."

"I am confused about the negative reviews and maybe its program specific. I can say as a wrap up my last class SNHU has been great to me. My advisor Mike is always available and all of my professors have an open door policy. I completed this program while still working and there were times when it was tight with life balance its doable to those who are willing to do the work."

"SNHU is absolutely Horrific in regards to student advising, communication and support. Over and over again I tried communicating with my instructors to no avail. My professor made several project and grading mistakes that directly effected both my grade and my attitude. It was readily evident many online instructors are revenue driven and have lost sight of the necessity of individual student support. This is what education in America has come down to, a system where instructors are paid piece meal, promoted and rewarded primarily on the amount of revenue they make for SNHU, and the direct impact they make on students in regard to interaction and quality support."

"The level of support has been exceptional. The level of anxiety I had going into this new learning platform was quickly alleviated. Inwould recommend this institution to any and everyone! From the initial contact the faculty and staff have been knowledgeable and professional. This school is not a degree. You are provided a thorough and robust education. It is fast past and difficult but not insurmountable! I an so grateful I found this school."
