"I have been asked to do a radio promotion for the school as well, and I gladly excepted. I was 33 years old at the time I decided to go back to school with 2 kids also, so it wasn't easy, but it was necessary! I just want to stress to anyone that if I can do it , anybody can! Southern Union Technical school, for what ever trade or degree you want , has excellent instructors and years of knowledge in their field. They will also help you find, and get a job. That is the very reason for attending school in the first place, so they are on board! I work for the Army Corps Of Engineers now, ( my 3rd year) and I would not have my job without Carlton Jones. He is the electrical instructor at SUSCC, and he personally wrote a letter of recommendation for me.Futhermore, I have been told by my supervisor since then, that without that letter I would not have been hired. If you out there decide to go to college, make Southern union the choice!"

"Southern Union is well equipped for transitioning to Auburn University for a Bachelors after finishing your associates. The class sizes are smaller and the teachers are very willing to accommodate you if you meet with them during office hours. It is a much more affordable option than four years at a university. The only down side is the financial aid staff and counsellors are not the easiest to work with. Most things have to be done on the Wadley campus instead of the Opelika. Campus."
