"This university is well suited for any woman who cares about expanding their critical thinking abilities. Not only was I challenged to change and adapt my world view, but I was encouraged to think creatively about the world around me. I learned so much about myself and my potential as a scholar and intellectual."

"St. Kate's is perfect for women!!!!! I went back to school at the age of 39 and had wanted to attend since I was a high school student. It was everything and more my friends told me about. I wish I could have gone sooner, but marriage and two kids was important to me first. The professors there are so helpful with supporting your education. They push you to work hard, always offering ways on how to improve. It is a rigorous curriculum but so worth it. The psychology department and specifically my advisor, Professor Quarfoth, really worked hard to make sure I was always on track and taking the right courses. The St. Paul campus is beautiful! Now as I am working on my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I fall back on the high expectations that St. Kate's had for academic success. Professors have commented on the high quality of some of my writing assignments, and when I tell them I completed my undergrad work at St. Kate's they say "of course". Lastly I love that St. Kate's has really studied how women learn. I was terrified of math and because of the patience of all my teachers made it all the way through statistics. St. Kate's is the place where you WILL learn to lead and influence."
