I just started summer of 2021. So far I love online learning, and my professors had made it really easy to understand what is expected of me. I was nervous about communication, but so far I have not had any communication challenges. My admission experience was wonderful, and I fortunately got to work with Jasmine. She was very informative and really explained the process well and kept me on track. I am excited to see where my education at St. Catherine's takes me.

Jannon Wray was my Admissions Advisor, and did a phenomenal job at assisting me on getting ready and into St Catherine’s University!! I am so beyond Thankful that I had her to help guide me thru the process! She was patient and so very helpful! If she didn’t know the answer to my questions, she immediately found out and contacted me back, to let me know! She stayed in contact throughout the entire time too! I am attending St Kate’s now and am excited to be taking my courses towards becoming an COTA!... Read More

Great feedback and conversation between staff and student. Helpful with questions needing to be answered. I was impressed with the connection and time the staff takes to make sure you are set to go for classes and financially understand where you stand. Great school & I’m looking forward to Obtaining my degree

Not only have we yet to hear about graduation ceremony or if we’re getting one at all, but there has been a complete lack of communication throughout this entire program. The professors and advisors paint a pretty picture and when you go in for questions, they are no help at all. Very confusing to get anything done when it comes to level II fieldwork. Not to mention the price of this school is beyond expensive. Please don’t waste your time or money.

I can attest to all the reviews on here for the online OTA program with the lack of support, miscommunication (or lack of communication), the nonsensical academic advisors that cannot actually help with anything (who I swear just read from a script, much like tellamarketers), the outrageous tuition fees, the ridiculous in-person lab requirements, and the field placement chaos. It clearly states in their policy that we are to be placed no latter than 6 weeks prior to our start of interning, yet they... Read More

I am so disenfranchised by this school. I have been in college before this, with a previous science degree. The professors not teaching in the program were wonderful, but once you get into the nursing program, it was an awful experience. I have never been treated with such disinterest as how the administration treated even the most reasonable of questions. So many rules exist with no logic behind them. They are a fledging program that seems to have just purchased power points from a preestablished... Read More

I am weeks away from my fieldwork 2 placement and have not heard from my fieldwork coordinator. People in my cohort have been advised to contact their own fieldwork placement. Even after being advised NOT to do so by the same fieldwork coordinator who is telling us to do it now. I am beyond satisfied by the school's lack of support and the ability to create connections with locations located in CA. We are paying for fieldwork coordinators to look for locations for our placements but if they are having... Read More

Please be aware of this school. It is very expensive and offers little in return. Professor support is lacking and there were times, I was graded on material that was not even taught yet. Self-learning through YouTube is how I spent most of my time. I have a B.S. degree and thoroughly love the field of occupational therapy, when entering this school my excitement was quickly doused and soon realized a love of the field and the love of learning did not fuel this school. It works off the model of how... Read More

I would not recommend St. Kate's Occupational Therapy Master's program. The school is very expensive, which would be okay if it was high quality. I went to graduate school to learn and was very disappointed in the education I received. The quality of instruction, aside from a few professors, was low. They did not consider student feedback either.

this program was a complete ****. All they care about is money and how they can flood the OT assistant market in CA by taking as many students as they can. don't go here. They assign you success coaches that act as advisors even though they don't have the credentials to do so...I'm pretty sure my success coach was some kind of telemarketer. I left the program as soon as I realized how lacking it really was.

I urge potential students to do thorough research if interested in gaining acceptance into this program. I have two degrees, one of them post graduate. With the exception of making me retake Anatomy & Physiology which I understand, they were gonna make me retake freshman English and Reading! With a BS degree. I realized this was a scam & said thanks but no thanks. Please beware.

Be aware if you plan to attend this university's Online Occupational Therapy Assistant AA. Very little support outside of a few professors. Their were several tech issues. My "success coach" did not follow the lines of being exemplary with support, etc. I did very well with my courses until the OTA semester began, which lasted seven weeks. Unheard of regarding how long a semester should be. Several projects surrounded by pertinent information that one needed to carry into an OTA position, including... Read More

The RN-BSN program at the St. Paul campus of St. Catherine University was a wonderful program that improved upon my knowledge from the ASN program. I had one professor for the entire program who was attentive and helpful. The program allowed flexibility for those working full-time and enrolled in the program full-time. We were a hybrid class meeting on-campus once a week and completing online work inbetween. I would highly recommend this program for anyone looking to complete a RN-BSN program.

This university is well suited for any woman who cares about expanding their critical thinking abilities. Not only was I challenged to change and adapt my world view, but I was encouraged to think creatively about the world around me. I learned so much about myself and my potential as a scholar and intellectual.

I've only finished my first semester at St. Catherine University (Saint Paul, MN), but the expectations of the faculty in the MLIS program and the program itself are not only lofty, but with a will to succeed and a desire to elevate your own goals and expectations, easily achievable. For my undergrad, outside the required courses, the major programs were vague about their missions and endpoint. On the first day of my first class (Intro to Library Science), everything necessary to do well and get... Read More
