"I am currently enrolled and have been planning this process for quite some time. I chose to switch schools several months ago after completing my prerequisites at a local college. During this transition, I had many questions but was provided with help from an admissions counselor Maggie Billhorn. She was exceptional. Even months away from starting classes, she checked in every week and kept me up to date on anything I needed or didn’t need to worry about! Now that I am finally into my classes, the canvas is easy to navigate, and so far, the instructors are very detailed and quick to reply! I was a little nervous about this new journey, but I feel like I have found a home with St. Kates, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of this semester has in store!"

"I have never been so disappointed in a group of educators. They do not advocate for their students. If anything goes wrong they are quick to throw their hands up and take the easy way out instead of protecting their students. Thankful for local certified instructors at fieldwork who taught me everything I know and ended up landing a very successful job. This experience haunts me and I’m so embarrassed to say I went to school here. Also very disappointed that this is a religious school but yet the program did not keep its word as well as show compassion to their students. Others In cohort had the exact same experience which we reflect on often."

"Jasmine was great to work with! I felt that I never really had to be worried about the process of applying and getting started at St. Kate's. I always enjoyed our weekly calls to check in and make sure we were still on track. I will say the last-minute change in the curriculum was somewhat frustrating, but I'm sure with rolling admissions there is never really a great time."

"Before I applied into the OTA program, I was so stressed out because I didnt know if that major really fit me or if I needed to take additional classes to get into the OTA program. When Jasmine Faleatua called and talked to me more about the program, that's when I 100% wanted to get into the program. She called me once every week to make sure I have all my forms ready, and on top of my things. I appreciate all of her help and she made the registration so easy for me."

"I’m a 34 year old Mother of two boys with a full time Federal job. My dream job is working with SPED children one on one. St Catherine’s made it possible for me to be able to go back to school. I was nervous at first but the staff went above and beyond to help me succeed. Jasmine F. was amazing and is one of the most helpful, knowledgeable, kind, creative, and supportive staff members I worked with. She was always on top of everything that needed to be done to in process so there was never a problem. Even if she didn’t have an answer for me (for financial aid or other departments) she immediately know who I could contact to get an answer and would provide that information to me. Jasmine and her Supervisor Scott are the only reason I’m able to chase my dream job. They worked with me through financial issues providing creative/realistic options that allowed me to attend. I’m so grateful and feel so lucky to be able to work with this University and it’s staff. They are really focused on helping the students succeed at every level, going above and beyond to help students, and providing a rigorous and quality education that prepares one for their career. The staff really shows up for the mission and values of St. Catherine’s University and it shows. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!"

"Dealing with Craig Carlson was a great 1st experience in dealing with your school. He was incredibly patient, helpful, prompt at returning my calls, answered all of my questions thoroughly. There is so much paperwork and it’s quite overwhelming and I assure you if Craig wasn’t so outstanding, my comments would be very different."

"James Warren was such an amazing mentor in my registration process. I have never felt that I mattered more because of how much attention he pays to his students. He makes sure you succeed in anything you needed and he would keep you in track of everything you needed done.I just can't put into words how amazing this guy is and I've never met the guy, it was just how he treated me as an individual and a student of St.catherines that makes me feel this way."

"I am very thankful to the St. Catherine Staff for going above and beyond to help me be a successful student. Jasmine Faletua helped me with every question I had, stayed on track with everything needed in my application, kept me informed of my application status, and she has such a welcoming personality. Chanel Shell helped me get everything done regarding my G.I. bill. Travis Hightower is passionate about being an academic advisor and I look forward to his guidance. My teachers have all been extremely helpful in answering my questions regarding assignments. Overall my experience has been nothing short of excellent since arriving."

"I just started summer of 2021. So far I love online learning, and my professors had made it really easy to understand what is expected of me. I was nervous about communication, but so far I have not had any communication challenges. My admission experience was wonderful, and I fortunately got to work with Jasmine. She was very informative and really explained the process well and kept me on track. I am excited to see where my education at St. Catherine's takes me."

"Not only have we yet to hear about graduation ceremony or if we’re getting one at all, but there has been a complete lack of communication throughout this entire program. The professors and advisors paint a pretty picture and when you go in for questions, they are no help at all. Very confusing to get anything done when it comes to level II fieldwork. Not to mention the price of this school is beyond expensive. Please don’t waste your time or money."

"I can attest to all the reviews on here for the online OTA program with the lack of support, miscommunication (or lack of communication), the nonsensical academic advisors that cannot actually help with anything (who I swear just read from a script, much like tellamarketers), the outrageous tuition fees, the ridiculous in-person lab requirements, and the field placement chaos. It clearly states in their policy that we are to be placed no latter than 6 weeks prior to our start of interning, yet they didn’t place me until 2 weeks before I was to start. Then they told us that we are NOT to contact our placement sites, but then they told us (hush hush, mind you) to do what we can to locate placement sites to help out the placement site coordinators. I wish I had read the reviews before starting at this university because it was a certified waste of time and waste of money. Don’t do it if you have the chance. By the time I realized how ridiculous this program and university was, it was too late to withdraw. I have a bachelors in health science (aka premed), and yet they made me take classes I had already completed. Waste. Waste. Waste."

"I am so disenfranchised by this school. I have been in college before this, with a previous science degree. The professors not teaching in the program were wonderful, but once you get into the nursing program, it was an awful experience. I have never been treated with such disinterest as how the administration treated even the most reasonable of questions. So many rules exist with no logic behind them. They are a fledging program that seems to have just purchased power points from a preestablished curriculum. We taught ourselves. Tests did not match information taught, and information taught was not essential to the degree. I am not prepared to be a nurse. I got my degree and ran. I will be learning on the job, and am furious that a program that states it is holistic would not listen to students. I was lied to from the beginning."

"I am weeks away from my fieldwork 2 placement and have not heard from my fieldwork coordinator. People in my cohort have been advised to contact their own fieldwork placement. Even after being advised NOT to do so by the same fieldwork coordinator who is telling us to do it now. I am beyond satisfied by the school's lack of support and the ability to create connections with locations located in CA. We are paying for fieldwork coordinators to look for locations for our placements but if they are having us look for our own place. I think a refund for those charges should be in order."
